Mike was absolutely AMAZING! He did me and my 3 other friends tattoos and every single one of ours look PERFECT! He is so down to earth and genuine and really cared for us and helped us through it! Now that I got a tattoo by him I will never go to another place! I highly recommend going to Mike! The lines were clean and everything was such an amazing process!

I came prepared with exact image of what I wanted, Mike delivered!! No appointment and late at night, extremely happy with the results. Would go again. Posted $200 minimum. Cant complain, I knew that going in and didnt want to wait. Worth it for good results, no return or touch ups needed.

Personable and professional, they took us as walk-in customers around 8pm on a Monday. Created stencils on site for the art we wanted. Beautiful line work. The interior was warm and comfortable, had funky decor and felt very clean. Tattoo artists Bobby and Drew were friendly and talented in their skill. Priced right. This place is awesome. Artists are extremely friendly and down to earth. Do great work as well, walked in for a few tattoos and John took us on the spot. Very happy with how they turned out and got them done quickly at a reasonable price. Would recommend to anyone!

My friends and I were celebrating my 19th birthday last night, and we decided that we all wanted to get tattoos behind our ears. we called 10th street tattoos and they had an opening so we went. mike c was the one who took care of us and he did a fantastic job. i am very scared of needles and he was very nice and understanding. it was also my first tattoo ever so he made it very comfortable, easy, and stress free. i have met a lot of tattoo artists while i went with my friends and they by far have the nicest staff, especially mike c. if i ever want a tattoo again i am 110% going to call him up. not the forget, place was clean and the music wasn’t blasting. one of his staff members checked us in and he answered all of our questions and concerns. again nicest people ever. i think he name was bobby; but i could be mistaken. he does tattoos and piercings. but i had an wonderful experience and couldn’t asked for a better way to get my first tattoo!!!

I’ve been coming here since it was Pale Horse tattoo about 10 years ago and have always had a good experience. Most recently I went with my sister to get a matching script tattoo from John and he was great. Super thoughtful and nice and really took the time to go above and beyond for us.

I walked in; they saw me right away with my ideas. Johnny took them; drew them in front me and let me make corrections. And the application and tattoo process was so easy!

Checked around some local shops looking to get a last minute or walk in appointment for a small coverup. Walked in and Mary assisted myself and my girlfriend right away. She got us w/ Bobby and I told him what I had in mind for the coverup. He made it work and did a great job! Has a great hand and was able to make it look like the old tattoo never even existed. Everyone was friendly and made us feel comfortable. He also did some work on my girlfriend. He has over 20 years experience and from someone with several tattoos on several location of my body I could tell he knew what he was doing. My boyfriend went in for a nose bridge piercing, the piercer, named Johnny was also a tattoo artist and was booked tonight but squeezed us in, did the piercing in like 2 minutes flawlessly, easily 5 stars.

I came in first to discuss a quote on a tattoo I planned to get and the guys were very helpful. The place was clean. The workers were time efficient and friendly. Mike did a good job on my tattoo to make it exactly as it was written and I’m super happy with it. For my next tattoo, I’ll most likely come back to this place.

Very convenient for us and very quick. My friend and I were dying to get a last minute side tattoo and no one was offering. They said yes immediately, I may have also been quite broke haha, but they were very willing to lower the price for me, for what was affordable. Update review- got belly rings with my cousin both bars are too short so it isn’t healing properly. Called to see about longer bars but piercing person isn’t in, they recommended going to another place to get it.

My boyfriend and I stopped in to get a couple small tattoos while in town. The wait wasn’t long considering how busy they were. Great environment, the guys are very nice and do amazing work!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Got a tattoo yesterday, staff was all friendly, however, “Drew” spelled laughed wrong in my memorial tattoo for my grandmother. When I noticed I immediately called wanting to know how they could fix it, and was met only with a request for pictures and being sent a photo of the font we chose. Personally, I don’t see a similarity in a u and an n as they open in opposite directions.Update: 3/14/24 after weeks of asking for a solution and to speak to a manager, and thinking I had one, I spoke with the shop owner “Mike” who again insisted that the letter was an “u” but that some people have buyers remorse and they would try to “thicken” it up. To refer to this as buyers remorse is absolutely offensive when I did nothing wrong in the scenario. I told the owner that “Johnny” one of his other employees had offered me a solution to fix the tattoo where they would go in with flesh tone ink and wait until it healed to go back in with black to create the U. He told me Johnny should never have offered that option. Very unimpressed with this shop and the people who work there, admit your mistake, fix it, and move on. This shop owner handled the situation very poorly, especially when I didn’t once ask for my $460 back, just to have it fixed.

Got my last 2 tattoos here. Each time I was a walk in. The first time I had to come back, but they set me up an appointment and Franky gave me a discount for waiting without being an ignorant pos since he still wasnt done when I came back. The second time i just walked right back. Johnny was amazing with the shadowing. And, I got more detail than the original design.Great prices, conversation and atmosphere. Anyone who complains about this place is crazy. They charged half as much for my tree of life than what the shop up the street that will remain unnamed wanted to charge me, and 10th street added way more detail than I asked for. This is now the only place Ill go to. And btw, every shop Ive gone to has been cash only. So the guy who said that was shady must have never got a tat or piercing done before.

Had a great experience with Michael getting my sixth tat. A simple fine line Picasso Dachshund but it’s perfect! Everyone is nice and it’s a fun time to boot!

Spent 2 hours of my life in this shop to get a simple cross tattoo. There were no other customers and 2 artists. Bobby and Mike. Mike is an awesome person and nice to talk to however my tattoo is subpar. It looks like a jail tattoo and now I have to get a cover up. He did however do a nice job on my daughter’s tattoo.

I went to the shop because my brother knows the owner. I saw Johnny and I have to say I was very impressed. My tattoo was difficult and in a location that was quite embarrassing, as I had to take off my t-shirt. He put me at ease and was extremely professional. Came in looking to get two smaller tattoos. Very simple design, nothing too time consuming. I was told that it would be $220 which is incredibly overpriced for the pieces I wanted. Then when I commented on how that was not a fair price at all the older guy with longer hair (not sure what his name is) was incredibly rude and refused to hear me out. He was mean, did not care at all then proceeded to walk away from me and told me to go somewhere else. The other guy working was much more professional and even offered a lower price however I would never go back considering the attitude of old long hair guy. I’m sorry but if you can’t properly communicate with your customers then you don’t deserve my business. Went down the street to Carson Street Tattoo and they were amazing. Got both of my tattoos for $120 and they were incredibly understanding and kind. My advice is don’t waste your time at this tattoo place.

Went last minute on memorial weekend with my 2 friends and thankfully they were able to fit us all in! Had to put a $50 deposit to hold our time slot. they have a $100 minimum just for future reference. i have a few tattoos and i think they did a good job. Johnny was my tattoo artist and he was quick and still did a good job. overall a satisfied customer. they do take walk ins but I would make an appointment or atleast call ahead to see if they have time before you make the drive from wherever youre coming from. overall I would recommend 10th street tattoo. definitely going back for my next one!

The artists here are nice, decent guys. However, I received a tattoo from Greg when I first started getting into tattoos and im really not satisfied with it. I had gotten a crown done below my neck only a couple years ago by him and the lines are already very faded and crackly looking plus there are some spots of the tattoo that are blurred together now due to the lines of the design being done so close together. He was nice but i recall him being in a rush as he had to get to a concert after finishing up with me (which i totally understand) but it reflects on the appearance of my tattoo.

I cant really attest to the quality of their work because I didn’t get that far with these people. I walked in about a month back and the person at the counter was so rude I left. There’s no way I’d spend my money with people who treat their customers like that. They have been there for a while though which, to me, says something about how good of a job they do. Too bad I’ll never find out.

Great shop. Nice guys, very clean. I was a walk in and was taken care of quickly, and the artist listened to my requests for placement. Definitely recommend.

The work was fine but I got ripped off. They didnt quote me a price prior to getting the tattoo and then charged me $100 for about 10 minutes of tattooing. I literally got three words done. Also, they provided absolutely no information about after care. The guy was awkward and rough with me. He shaved my arm prior to doing the tattoo and was too fast and rough, causing some minor razor burn. I chose to leave this review because the excellent google rating is why I went here in the first place. I would never get any more work done here.

When I went in I had not had a tattoo done since 05. Greg was super accommodating and chill. When I got a wave of dizziness he was totally ok with pausing for a sec while I had some water. Friendly, attentive, clean, and personable. The work I went in for was very simple but I was still treated with respect. Decent pricing and an easy to get to location are all factors that will be bringing me back.Only area of improvement I can express is my girlfriend got work done at the same time, although satisfied with her tattoo her artist never even gave a name, literally only spoke to her after she left a fat tip. Lol. Wolnt go into it further as leaving an overall posative review was my intention.Tldr;Gregll tat yinz up rheal nice nat.

I went in to get my ear pierced. The piercer was extremely unprofessional, he did not sanitize my ear before he pierced it, and I noticed after the piercing was done that the piercing was incredibly crooked. He also didn’t use a regular butterfly back, but instead a flat back that is normally used for cartilage piercings. Will never be returning and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

They didn’t clean a single one of my friend’s or mine before we were pierced. For our nose piercings, they didn’t put a dot they just went for it, and it wasn’t in the correct spot. It was just unsanitary, and I’d recommend going somewhere else,

I got a small tattoo and I paid 140.00. I didnt mind paying that much for small tattoo if the work was good. Tattoo took only 15 Mts and 2 weeks later its completely faded and looks like a got it done in Bills basement. I always go to south side tattoo . They were closed. I will never recommend this Place or the artist which the Spanish guy. Im so upset I didnt wait to go where I knew I would have quality work done. Dont throw your money away . This artist in this tattoo shop is the worst.

I paid more than double what I would have at my usual professional shop, but I went here while I was out of town. He didnt tell me when he went in to pierce my ear. I got three piercings and he did not mark any of them or ask where I wanted them. I showed a photo and he did it in the completely wrong place. And to top, he gave me a ring that was way too small for my ear and was excruciatingly painful. I had to go to another shop to switch to a stud instead and the hole had shifted due to the pressure. He freeballed my lobe piercings also which i didnt appreciate, especially since they turned out very unevenly spaced. Then, when my friend went next he did not clean the BLOOD off of the seat so her hair was covered in my ear blood.I shouldnt have come here In the first place considering there were many red flags. First, many employees were not wearing masks in the midst of the covid pandemic. Second, there was a large group of CLEARLY intoxicated people who all got piercings before me. And finally, they only accept cash which is a lil sketch. But it was late and the fourth piercing shop I was in for the night.

Me and my husband went in and got tattooed by Greg. It was my first time getting a tattoo and even though it was a small tattoo he was professional and nice.... My husband got a larger tattoo than me but he had us in and out within an hour. Will definitely be going back for another one soon

Staff tries to be accommodating, then insults what you are trying to get done then price gouge the hell out of you. Super arrogant and rude from one guy in particular didnt stick around long enough to catch his name. Highly recommend taking your business elsewhere!

Ive received 5/7 of my tattoos at 10th street and I couldnt be happier with them. The two tattoos that I didnt get to 10th Street were poorly done and have begun fading and I havent had them a year. Each piece that I did get at 10th street are marvelously done and Ive gotten numerous compliments. Jeremy has done 2 of mine and his work is always clean and looks great! From my simplest to most detailed one, I love each of them and I always highly recommend the shop!

Terrible. Me and my 3 friends all recieved tattoos and were highly disappointed. They spelled both of my friends tattoos wrong for crying out loud. I posted pictures, take a look before considering this shop. Unprofessional and over priced for the horrible quality work/service they provide. Cant wait to get this garbage covered up, i have many tattoos, and this is the only one I dearly regret. Hate this tattoo shop. DO NOT GO HERE!

Very nice shop. Mike helped me out and I loved the work he put together in short order as a walk in. Price was lower than Id expect in other shops as nice as this in other cities. Very satisfied. Definitely recommend.

The tattoo artist charged me $180.00 for 5 letters and its not the size I wanted, he acted like he didnt want to make it bigger like I suggested, that was too much money for a smaller tattoo when it could have been bigger! I will never get another tattoo from MAD MAX EVER AGAIN!!!!

This is by far THE WORST experience getting a tatoo.. I was quoted 450.00 for a half sleeve on my forearm, supposed to look like ripped skin.. I specified that I did Not want it to look cartoony, it was to be an eagle tearing the skin and showing the American Flag.. then a quote around the other side. It is AWEFUL. I got a cartoon rip tear, all the colors have bled, NO eagle, everyone that seen it says its a 150.00 tatoo, that looks incomplete, and dirty. I have over 15 tatoos, and this is horrific.. I have to wear long sleeves right now untill I can save enough money to have a cover up done by a real artist. My husband tatoo turned out great by Jeramy, but mine by Max is horrible.. I tried emailing with no response, ( they say their system is down) there is Nothing they can do to fix this, it needs a complete new tatoo cover up. I could say all the other things wrong with it but i would go on forever. I did not get a half sleeve, i got to random tatoos on my arm, they do not go together at all.If anyone knows of someone who does real tatoo work and could cover this for a reasonable cost u would greatly appreciate it..DONT GO HERE! I should have stuck with SOUTH SIDE TATOO!

Mike is incredibly talented, experienced, and honest. I live in Philly and would not go anywhere else for a tattoo, and gladly drive the 4 1/2 hours to get more work done.

Great artists and badass work

Went there to get 2 nose piercings, filled out the forms, showed IDs and then was told they didnt have the jewelry. The gentleman directed us to go down the street to his partner shop I guess but we went elsewhere.
