Eric is the absolute man! Been working on a sleeve on and off for a couple years and the time spent in the studio these couple years is some of the most relaxing times in my life. The work is perfect, cleanest lines and regardless of how intricate a design the work always heals quickly and without issue. Couldn’t see myself going anywhere else.

Got my first tattoo here from Joe! The hops design turned out perfect and Joe is an awesome artist. The studio itself has a great vibe to it. I will definitely be back for another one soon.

I got my first tattoo done by Eric when he was at another tattoo shop, and I loved his work so much that I followed him to his new studio. The studio itself is very clean and aesthetic. It makes a very comfortable environment. Eric and Joe are both very friendly and make you feel comfortable. Eric constantly shocks me with his talent with every piece I’ve gotten and his posts on Instagram of his work. He really puts 110% into every piece he does. Every idea I’ve gone to him with he has executed perfectly and exactly how I wanted. He is always willing to answer any questions and adapt your piece exactly how you want it. I’ve only had wonderful experiences with him and will continue to go back for any future tattoos I decide to get. I could not recommend him enough!

Eric was patient and talked through all my questions as well as design ideas until I was ready. The procedure itself was really smooth and I was very comfortable throughout. He was also gave very clear and specific instructions about how to care for my tattoo. Ive already recommended him to friends and will definitely be going back for my own next one!

Eric Is so talented and clearly very passionate about art and tattooing it. My first piece from Eric was a personalized design including a graph of a mathematical function and geometric designs around it. He was excited to plan with me and great to work with from the start. His line detail and precision are so unbelievable. I love that he took his time after meeting with me to get it right. Yesterday I went to a charity event he hosted (more bonus points) where he had flash tattoos available. His artwork is phenomenal and I was so pumped to get one of the designs. The money went to Puerto Rico relief and he was tattooing into the night time. I love the motivation there. It was clear, too, with his preparation and pacing that he was more concerned with quality of his art and the experience in the studio than how many people he could rush through. That proves to me he’s ensuring the best art for each customer!Now to the studio, beautiful! It has a very chill vibe and so much around it if there’s a need to kill some time. It’s simple yet elegantly decorated. Parking is easy to find, usually right in front of the building. Both Eric and joe are super nice and friendly, very easy to talk to. They usually have some chill music playing. I don’t think I’m ever being tattooed by anyone else (unless my adventures call for some more travel tattoos,🙃).Highly highly recommended.

I have nothing but good things to report. My full experience at Dark Matter and with Eric was terrific from start to finish. The environment is professional and maintians a very personal affect. Everything about the facility seems in line with the personability of the artists. Eric was everything a tattoo artist should be and more. His work certainly speaks for itself, but altogether I must say Dark Matter Studios has my full endorsement. 100% would recommend to anybody, I will likely be going back again sooner rather than later!
