My daughter is getting a spinal fusion, and we walked into this awesome and welcoming tattoo shop and Mike did my tattoo. I decided to get spinal fusion hardware to represent her surgery and am beyond pleased. Super friendly artists and very talented as well! Highly recommend!!

Kati was patient, focused, professional, and friendly. Entire shop was spotlessly clean and they were very focused on hygiene. Very pleased with my tattoo and have already contacted her about another.Update: had second tattoo, this time original art by Kati. Very happy with it, and with how well my first healed up.

I have been getting tattooed by Kati for over a decade. She is hands down one of the most talented and trustworthy tattoo artist in Pittsburgh, and always does absolutely flawless work. She always makes me feel comfortable in her shop and is a great listener and is therefore great at bringing even the craziest ideas to life. My oldest tattoos by her still look great after many many years, see picture! The shop as a whole is professional, clean, friendly and everything you could hope for. Thank you so much!

Kati was so talented and kind. She set up an appointment quickly. Upon arrival, she looked at my ideas and drew up a plan while we waited in a comfortable lobby within minutes. I have had tattoos before but this ribcage was really painful. I have never used a numbing cream but Kati was amazing at pausing frequently to check on me and using some degree of numbing which took the edge off. I’m not sure I could have completed the piece if she had not been so kind. She turned out a gorgeous watercolor garden tattoo utilizing some old art I needed covered. So incredibly thankful!! Highly recommend! ❤️❤️❤️

The artists at Serpent Moon are all amazing.Ive worked with 2 of the artists so far, and they are absolutely amazing. This will be my go to studio for the foreseeable future. I’m not getting tattoos unless Kati is doing them! She really listens to your intention for the tattoo and then provides guidance on what she thinks will work best. She always has been able to take my concepts and turn them into amazing art that I’m proud to have on my body and never could have come up with on my own.

First time at this shop, but I immediately felt welcomed. Everyone was very kind, the studio was clean and professional, and my artist, Kait T., was AMAZING. So easy to chat with, and probably the most light handed artist Ive been to, and I love her art style. Definitely recommend her!

Mike was a wonderful tattoo artist! It was my daughter and my first tattoos, and he explained every step of the process to us. The finished products were absolutely beautiful! Everything was exceptionally clean. We had a wonderful experience! Thank you!

I LOVE what is done of my tattoo and get many compliments on it... but I cant get it finished even though Ive requested appointments repeatedly. The original drawing was a much larger scene that we broke into multiple sessions. What would have been my third session was cancelled last minute (twice) by the artist, once when Id already arrived for my appointment. At the time, my requests to rebook went without response. A few months ago I was still wishing it was complete, so I contacted the shop again to try and finally get it finished. The artist told me they would be in touch soon to schedule, but I never heard from them again.While it looks finished to someone who didnt see the amazing original drawing, Im bummed because I know its not the full scene that I was so excited about. Again, Im not questioning creativity or skill- what is done is truly gorgeous. But I made a lot of effort and Im left with about half of the design I loved. I cant understand why there wasnt an attempt to fit me in/finish the piece when I was being patient and understanding.

Cute, clean, cozy. I got my first tattoo here and really enjoyed the experience. The bathroom is huge and clean. The studio itself is tidy but with lots of personal decorations and touches. Makes for good conversation and really getting an idea of the artists styles.Everything was professional without being overwhelming or intimidating. I’ll definitely be back!

Kati came highly recommended and she lives up to the hype! She did a beautiful job on a very sentimental piece. I am a germaphobe and I was very impressed with the cleanliness of everything in the shop. The whole experience was relaxing and enjoyable and I will definitely return for future work.
