My boyfriend got his ear lobes pierced by Edith. It was his first piercing so he didn’t know any better, but she wasn’t very up front about just what she was doing, she used a very large gauge, wayyyy too big for a first time lobe piercing. She also wasn’t upfront about the cost (which was so over priced) which would’ve influenced his decision to get pierced here. Additionally, when it was my turn to get my daith done, her entire attitude changed towards me, she was short and standoffish. All in all if you want a simpler piercing done, just go to Claire’s.

Did not tell the price of my piercing before hand. go to claire’s if you want a piercing. shop is full of people who don’t seem to care about the product and just want money. will do whatever they can to get you in and out so they get paid. edith was not upfront on the price and or the size. it was my first piercing and she explained nothing about size or price. you could get a better piercing by buying a kit on amazon and doing it at home.

I had my very first tattoo at Sinners and Saints today. The whole process was very streamlined and the staff was incredibly efficient. Lindsay worked with me to tweak the tattoo and find the best location. She made sure that I was happy with the tattoo and talked me through the whole process. I will be getting my next tattoo here.

Went in for a tattoo. Max did an amazing job (as usual). There are reasons why I will only let Max tattoo me… His work holds amazing over time, his color palette is out of this world, and he’s always down to do the big, sexy tattoos as well. Good job Max.

I was getting a previously pierced septum redone. There was still a bit of a hole so it just needed tapered through. Edith did it. For starters she used a clicker which you should pierce with a barbell so there’s room for swelling. Not only that, this clicker was far too small for my nose. Over the course of the next week I ended up with pretty intense pain because the sides of the clicker were so tight from swelling (she had forced a too small clicker through To begin with. I cried a lot when she did it. This did NOT happen with my first piercing) it was literally slicing into the outer edges of my nose over time. I realized this at 3 am last Saturday. I couldn’t get it off due to extreme pain and swelling. I searched you tube for a way to get it off to save myself a 500$ trip to the ER. Once I got it off….RELIEF! I wrote Edith on Instagram, told her what happened and sent pics. This is the response I got. “ I always offer aftercare. Coming to the shop to remedy this issue would have been an ideal move.” no apology. Nothing. As if it’s my fault she doesn’t know how to do her job. And after the pain she caused putting it IN I would def not trust her to get it OUT with the pain I was in. Buyer beware of Edith! Becka at this shop does lovely tattoo work. Sunday got a barbell. Have been cleaning and putting neosporin on the outer edges where it was so dig into. Feeling much better!

I was in Pittsburgh for a day trip and figured why not walk in for a spontaneous tattoo. I did some quick research of some local shops, ended up going with sinners and saints. When they say a picture is worth a thousand words. Let mine speak for itself. I have 2 other large pieces on my arm, I’ve never experienced such awful line work. I followed the correct aftercare on the paper they gave me. Even got infected couple days after. When I called the shop and told them it was infected and overall just looks bad they asked “did you clean it” …. Terrible experience! I would never go back. $100 before tip for something I’ll have to get covered.

Keith did a phenomenal job and was incredibly friendly and talented. He did a great piece in a very short amount of time. Highly recommend.

Keith is a great artist and super personable guy. We are in the process of working on a whole sleeve together and I’m happy I chose Keith. Choosing the correct person who understands what you’re looking for is super important.

Max was awesome. For my first tattoo, he hit it out of the park. Very friendly, wanted to give you exactly what you wanted. I will definitly recommend Max to anyone.

Got my first tattoo here with my friend, called the day of and came in 2 hours later. Great service and designs. I don’t have much tattoo experience but this place was definitely a good one. Would highly recommend!

Went in for a small floral piece on my wrist, i was quoted $100 at my usual shop but didn’t want to wait for an appointment so i decided to go to S&S because they take walk ins. they told me it would be $200 so i ended up choosing a halloween flash design from the wall instead because i wouldn’t pay double the price when i could just make an appointment for the floral wrist piece with my usual artist. i love the halloween flash design that i ended up getting today, Becka did a great job. but she was rather rude and condescending from the minute i walked in. she told me she didn’t like the floral piece that i originally wanted and she wanted to charge me double what my usual artist would. and then once i chose a lower priced flash design to replace my original idea she was rude about the placement. i’m not sure if i’ll be back, the tattoo is great and Becka is very talented, but her unfriendly attitude tainted the experience.

I was a walk in appointment with some friends the other day, and we were attended to very quickly. they asked what we wanted, they drew something up, and were given options of designs. everyone was super polite and the line work of the tattoos all look amazing!! we were in and out and it was pretty reasonably priced. thanks again!

First tattoo in a while and Im very satisfied with Steves work. Will absolutely be back. Picture doesnt do it justice. Definitely check S+S out for fresh ink!

Went in for a piercing and was in and out within 10 minutes. The lady piercing was super nice and made me feel comfortable and explained each process of the step. The guy that helped me at the front counter was super friendly also. Highly recommend for piercings!

Loved my experience the piercer was so nice and walked me through the whole thing. It was my first experience getting a piercing and she made me feel so comfortable 10/10 recommend. Have also gotten two tattoos and I cannot recommend it enough.

I got this tattoo from Becca and she dug way too deep in my arm and made the tattoo too dark. This is what the tattoo looks 3 weeks after getting it done.

I wouldn’t recommend this shop for people wanting their first or second tattoo as they will take advantage if you’re gullible or lacking etiquette. Got my second tattoo here from Danny, first time at a shop. I was overcharged for a tat the size of a quarter which was rushed with crooked line work. Living in the moment can bite, however being right by your customers is more important than exploiting that. Otherwise the flashes were nice so we’re the people.

I got my tattoo done with Keith and it was awesome! I booked in advance and was able to even do the deposit contact free. Everything was done very professionally, I was able to submit reference artwork and I felt like my opinion really mattered more than an artist just doing more what they want. everyone at the shop was friendly and super cool, sometimes tattoo shops are intimidating. Im terrible at sitting for tattoos but Keith was able to make me feel as comfortable as possible. Im extremely happy with the result and may return for a touch up, and if not then I will be visiting in the future with more business for these fine folks.I couldnt recommend it more.

My daughter got her nose pierced for her birthday, the piecing was nice, but my daughter lost her earring and every time we go back to sinners and saints to get a replacement earring for the 16g the piercer used there’s a problem. Two different days they were closed before the time on the door stated. Today they opened at 10am, but no one can sell me an earring until 12pm or so. Come on it’s an earring not the piecing it’s self. Probably will not be back, because of these inconveniences.

Walked in this place with 2 friends for tattoos. got charged $100 for a finger tattoo the size of a quarter. line work is uneven & crooked. the artist seemed to not take his time with any of the 3 tattoos. he never looked to see if anything needed touched up. he seemed to be under the impression that none of us had tattoos, & tried to take advantage of that. i will say the everyone in the shop was super friendly & it was very clean, but i will not be returning because the work is just not worth what you’re paying for.

I went last week for a nose piercing. Ashley was great! The place was clean and safe, piercings under the mask are by appointment only. When I arrived, we were the only two in shop for safety precautions. I was so scared because I was unable to bring my fiancé with me but Ashley was great and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I definitely recommend Ashley for a nose piercing. Also make sure you eat because you will get light headed a little bit.

Had a really great piercing experience today! My 8 yo daughter was ready to get her ear lobes done. The ladies working today were so sweet and kept my daughter comfortable and not scared. Shell be back in a few months to get her next pair of titanium earrings! Thanks again, Ashlee!

Went in as a walk in in order to get my USMC tattoo freshened up. A young lady by the name of Lindsay was available. This woman is absolutely awesome. She made my old 1994 tattoo look like new. Shes also very knowledgeable about the history of tattoos. Especially the women artist. I liked her so much that I came back the next day, and got some brand new work done from her. All of the artist, and staff there are great. Very nice people. From now on this place is getting all of my business, & I told Lindsay shes officially on my speed dial. Definitely check this place out if you want work done the right way.

I went for a walk-in and got a small tattoo, it looks good and is healing fine. I then scheduled an appt for another tattoo and made a deposit - larger than what they asked for. Well my grandma ended up passing away and her viewing/ funeral fell on the day of my appt. I called them during business hours, their phone was off and went straight to voicemail. I left a vm with my name, appt time and artist, and my phone number asking if I could reschedule. No call back. Lost the deposit and never heard from them. Wont be going back, dont recommend

I got my nostril pierced by Ashlee on Sunday, and I LOVE it! The vibe of the entire facility was awesome and so welcoming. With the COVID Pandemic, piercings under the mask require appointments, so keep that in mind. She got me in after hours to limit exposure! Ashlee was awesome and had such a positive energy to her. Ill definitely be going back for future piercings!

My friend and I wanted to get our nose pierced together. Today we spent at least over a hour calling local tattoo/piercing shops, and everything was a no go or you must have a appointment. The nice thing about Sinner & Saints, they actually answer the phone, are very convenient with walk ins. Didnt have to wait at all. Ashlee was very quick and professional doing the piercings. Very rude staff and they purposely overpriced my tattoo as it was a incredibly tattoo with 2 lines that they charged 100 for. But then another customer came in with a complex design which needed shading, and they charged him 100 as well. Also, my tattoo has a weird squiggly line that wasnt supposed to be there

Got my first tattoo here. I was super nervous about it but the owner of the shop made me feel very comfortable. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful an all around comfortable environment. O and the owner was very understanding when I had to stop a couple of times because ya.. We wont go there. But highly recommend it and Definitely going back for another one. And the work they do at least for what I got was amazing!

Wanted a small heart face tattoo they tried to say 100$ . Like are u serious I though the southside be overcharging be they way overcharged . They got mad because they overheard me & my gf talking to another tattoo shop on the phone & said that was not ok with them

Got a septum piercing about 4 days ago here. have been wanting one but had trouble scheduling them at other places so i called and ask if i could come in in 30 minutes and a person named adam was very sweet and said sure.got in, signed some forms, and waited for a couple of minutes. a person named ashlee did the piercing. they didnt explain or do much to let me know what was happening outside of the piercing process itself; didnt know what gauge or jewelry they were using. i was going to ask but im anxious and honestly trusted them enough to do it right after reading reviews.piercing went well, they gave me some care instructions that involved using soap so i ignored them and used sea salt soaks as i did with my other piercings. to be fair, i think their printed instructions are more suited for tattoos rather than piercings.piercing is doing great so far and ill update if that changes. otherwise i definitely recommend them, especially if you just want to do a walk-in and as long as you know what youre doing before you go in.

I came in about three weeks ago to get a small tattoo. I was told this was one of the best places to go in the city. On the website it says walk-ins welcome, so I got there as soon as they opened. I was greeted by a man and he asked me what I wanted and told him my idea. He came back about five minutes later and said the two artist there were already booked for the day and that he would take my number and give me a call for when I can come in which was fine with me. Well, like I said that was three weeks ago and still nothing. Walk-ins accepted shouldn’t be on your website or on social media if they are not. That was such a waste of my time and very unprofessional that I’ve been waiting for a call back and nobody has called!

I took both of my teenagers here for ear piercings at the urging of their pediatrician, who explained that needle piercing was far safer than going to Claires or someplace similar. The staff was professional and friendly, so when my 15-year old was begging for a septum piercing, to cover my bases before simply saying no, I reached out to inquire about whether it was something their piercer would feel comfortable doing on a teen. It was so refreshing to be given a firm No - and heres why we feel its unethical. I so appreciated their candor and honesty. I know there are many places that wouldnt bother to educate a clueless parent like myself, and I was impressed that the piercer on staff took the time to help me make an informed decision. (No septum piercing for my 15-year old.) Highly recommend this place - they know what theyre doing!

Great shop with great employees. Cool vibe. Keith did an awesome job reworking an old tattoo I didnt like, and now its one of my favorite pieces. Reasonably priced, too. And dont rate it one start because it hurt. If course it hurt. Its a tattoo.

Keith hands down is the most patient caring tattoo artist I’ve run across in Pittsburgh. I’m extremely picky and he will take his time and ensure that you are satisfied with this permanent work of art even prior to him delicately administering the ink. Don’t hesitate to look over his portfolio as he exceeds where others artists lack realism and fine line details. I’ve gotten 7 tattoos from him and he continuously raises the bar with each.

I got my nostril done, it looks good, it was painless, and they were able to squeeze me in day of, so Im quite happy. Everything is very clean, piercer was nice, cost was fair. Id go back if I needed anything else!

Went in last week for a walk in and was paired up with Lindsey. The process itself was easy and average, but after taking off the bandage I realized how shaky and uneven the line work was. Ive since been to two other studios to inquire about relining it and both places said that it simply shouldnt have been done in that spot with such small a needle, and one place said that it did not look like the work of a trained professional. Really wish this had been brought to my attention as I didnt request a small needle but was rather told thats what would be used. Luckily both places have assured me that relining will be an easy fix once it heals, but wanted to post for others because if it had been a bigger or more complex tattoo it would probably not be so easy to repair. I called the day after I got it to ask about a touch-up and was told I could come in once it heals but whether I would have to pay more was not mentioned (not sure I would trust going back). Overall sucks that I wasted $80 (pre-tip) and stress over this place.

Keith did an awesome job on the tattoo, we had a great conversation as well and I will definitely go there again for another tattoo later down the the line. 100% recommend

This place is horrible. Dont go there. Went there 4 weeks ago. My sister got my belly button done. She had to take it out a week later cuz they pierced it wrong. Then I got my nose pierced which fell out 3 times now and I think its infected. When I called to address the issue. They did not care. Sign the contract and they keep your money. Dont tip them either. I left a happy customer and 4 weeks later I regret going in that place.

I JUST got a tattoo done here by Todd and he made the entire process enjoyable. Aside from the amazing tattoo, he made sure the environment itself was great from start to finish. I love my tattoo. I loved the shop. And I could not be happier.

100% recommend, especially for piercings.I’ve gotten 12 piercings from them, and 6 tattoos. The piercer is such a doll, all of the artists are friendly and make sure you’re comfortable always.

I got my first tattoo here, and it was a great experience. The artist was extremely nice, and he had no problem changing the needle right in front of me. The service is excellent, and my tattoo came out amazing.

Becka was extremely rude and condescending. I was bullied into getting a bigger and more colorful tattoo than I asked for, and now I’m stuck with a huge tattoo that wasn’t really what I wanted. And now that the tattoo has fully healed, it’s all scarred up and overworked. Appalled and heartbroken. I wish I hadn’t spent my money here.

Make sure you have your kids birth certificate for a piercing. Or they will not do the service at all. Guess I’ll be going to the mall. As if someone would kidnap a kid and take them to get their ears pierced. For 120$ i think not! If I could give no stars they should get that 😤🤬

I got my nose Pierced and it’s way too far back and too far up to put a hoop in at all. Bad jewelry was used and I had to get it re- Pierced at a more reputable piercing shop. Do not go here for piercings .

Called earlier in the day and spoke to a man over the phone that said they take walk ins until 9:30 on Saturday. We drove 45 minutes to get there and another man said they can’t tattoo us, they’re closing. Even though they technically don’t close until 10. It was the smallest tattoo. He was just rude about the whole situation. Sorry but the customers always right.
