Ive gotten all my tattoos and piercings at The Pittsburgh Tattoo Studio and I cannot thank Lauren enough for her amazing work on all my tattoos. Her work is just stunning and shes so much fun to chat with while getting work done.I highly recommend this studio :)

This place is AMAZING! I set up an appointment with Jesse and it was awesome. Not only is the place super clean and inviting, but Jesse was just fantastic. He was super nice and he just did a phenomenal job on my tattoo. I got a print of my cat’s paw and his attention to detail was incredible. He was so patient and worked really hard to make sure it looked exactly like the reference. He also used a traditional tattoo gun which I thought was just the coolest thing. Also the pricing was beyond fair for the work he did. Overall I’m just thrilled with my experience. Definitely will be booking another appointment ASAP!

My favorite studio by far! I just got a cover up done today and I am absolutely obsessed. This is the second piece I’ve had done by Lauren and her work has been incredible both times. She’s super friendly and easy to talk to (and also gives great restaurant recommendations)! I wanted a new piece to cover up a college mistake and also honor my grandmother’s artwork, and Lauren did an amazing job accomplishing that. The tattoo itself was super quick, only about an hour for this one and 30 minutes for my first one, and pretty painless (although I have quite a high pain tolerance). The studio is also super clean and cozy. I’ve been coming here since I was 13 for piercings and have just started getting tattoos in the last year or so. Every single experience I have here is great and I definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Such a clean, welcoming environment. I was extremely nervous going in but they made sure I was comfortable and happy with my results. Decent pricing, and very quick! Would one hundred percent recommend this place to anyone looking for their next tattoo :)

Lauren did an amazing job on my tiny tiger tattoo! She was super personable and made the experience very easy. The tattoo turned out more perfect than I expected...I am so pleased. The shop is very clean and the staff were very nice to deal with. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful experience with The Pittsburgh Tattoo Studio, both in Dormont and in Washington. I was tattooed by Lizzie - she was knowledgeable, efficient and nailed all of the fine lines in my tattoo.Both locations had friendly and helpful staff, a clean and chic environment, and were run by women (love to see it). 10/10 would absolutely recommend!

Lauren was so amazing! Her work is on point and she actually listened to what I wanted and didnt mind making little changes I wanted. The shop is amazingly clean and organized! She covered up my sons name and definitely did him justice with this new piece! I told her what I wanted and she sketched it up for me! Ive been here three times now, twice for nose piercings, once for an ear helix piercing. All three times, they were wonderful! Their two newest piercers, Jaden and Adrienne, are quick studies and will be absolute pros in no time. (Im so sorry if I spelled either of your names wrong!)Also, the co-owner, Amy, is an absolute sweetheart. On top of that, her art is *incredible*.If I get more piercings in the future, Ill definitely be coming here!

I took my then 16-year-old, while we were doing some college touring. I had promised her she could get a tattoo for her senior year. This was over the summer, and I dont remember who the young lady was who did it. But she was super awesome, and my daughter was very comfortable with her. My daughter was very happy with the tattoo as well.My daughter will be attending college in Pittsburgh in the fall, so I wont be surprised if she schedules some more visits there.Thank you!

Highly professional and amazingly talented artists. The setup they have is private and clean, the staff are intelligent and kind, and they have so much to offer! We had Marcella Hans and they were amazing! They talked us through the process, and I had drawn my tattoo and they worked with it to ensure it would fit the size and helped me work through it so it was perfect. I highly recommend getting your next tattoo or piercing here! They also sell mugs and shirts!

Me and my brother were able to get a walk in appointment with Lizzie. However, this was a great experience from start to finish. We called to see if they took walk in appointments, and the woman on the phone was super nice. They moved things around to squeeze us in, and did a consult over the phone.When we arrived at the shop it was super clean. Customer service was on point. It was a nice, beautiful atmosphere, one that made you comfortable. The woman at the desk talked to us to pass time, and really got to know us. Lizzie was also super personable while maintaining professionalism. Her work spoke for itself. I would highly recommend, and I will be using them again. I recently got a tattoo from Lauren Miller and Iam beyond satisfied. She was so nice, extremely timely and diligent. Her work is beautiful and she really listens to what you want. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I was so pleased that I booked two more appointments with her before leaving. I cant wait to continue to get work done by her!

Fantastic experience beginning to end. The shop is clean and well lit, each chair has ample privacy. Bethany pierced me and she was very patient, professional, and charming - and very prepared. The whole shop seemed to be staffed by women, which was refreshing and made me feel comfortable immediately when I arrived.

My daughter went to get her ears re-pierced after having the job done poorly when she was little. The staff was great and made her feel very comfortable. She even loves the starter earrings that came with the piercing.

This place has amazing artists and receptionists, but AWFUL ownership and business practices. I had sent them my design over email of the piece I was having done on 11/1 by my artist. I had sent this email a week prior to my appointment. I got a call the next day, 6 days prior to my appointment, and they told me my artist had left over a month ago and I could go to a different artist. When did they plan on telling me my artist had left when my appointment was IN their system with the artist that had left?! So, I had said I wanted my deposit back because my artist had fully left the business and I did not want to see another artist at the studio because it was not my artist. It was not fair for them to keep my deposit under these circumstances. If it was my doing or reasoning for the tattoo not being completed, that would be a whole different scenario, but this was a business based doing. After calling and talking to the owner, she gave us our $50 back and BANNED us from the studio for rightfully wanting our money back. This place has awful ownership and I will not be recommending them to any of my close friends for future tattoos because if this is how a business treats their customers and their artists, I don’t want to support them.

Shop was very clean. The booth was very clean and organized that I was in for my tattoo. The artist Jesse was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be back in the near future for more ink.

Great environment! Very clean and welcoming shop. Seems like everyone there loves what they do and it shows in their work. I admit Ive only had one tattoo done by Amy (over 2 sessions) but its pretty damn dope! Its a large black and gray shoulder piece. Shes very personable and put me at ease for my first. Will definitely return for more ink. Highly recommended.

Do not know why this review is showing up as my daughters name but regardless, I had an amazing experience with this shop! Called around 12:30, they had me email them a photo of what I wanted done and within 7 mins, called back with a quote and set my appointment. I did not have money on my card to put down deposit so they set me an appointment for a half hour later to come in and pay cash. Got there and they had cancellations so asked if I would like to come back at 5:15...of course, I did! And glad that I did! I am so pleased with the work that they did and my tattoo artist was absolutely amazing! The place was spotless clean also and they followed all Covid guidelines...i wi recommend to ALL of my friends!

I got a lyric tattoo on my chest just before covid hit last year and it was a great experience. The tattoo took about 2 hours and the conversation was great. The place is super clean and everyone is super nice. I forget the name of the girl who did my tattoo but she was amazing like everyone else there. When I get my next tattoo, I will be going back!

I walked in to the studio to schedule my first tattoo ever. I was greeted by Mia at the front desk as soon as I walked in. She was very pleasant and helpful with scheduling my tattoo and making sure everything was perfect for Amy. (The artist working on my tattoo) A month later, when it was time to get the ink done, I walked in and looked at all of the neat art work on the walls and at the books of previous customers tattoos. The place was very clean, nicely set up and the music wasnt obnoxious in any way.(as I know how some places are) I waited about 15 minutes and Amy was ready to do my tattoo. She was very cheery and nice to talk to while I was getting the work done. She also periodically asked me if I was all good to keep going on. My tattoo was approximately the size of a CD case with high detail and she got it done in about 2 hours. I am very pleased with it and I will be going to her for future business. The Pittsburgh tattoo studio is a fantastic business and I highly recommend one to go in or give a call. You will be greeted with very pleasant and professional people!

JUST got my nipples pierced at Pittsburgh Tattoo Studio. Everyone was so nice and the place was impressively clean. Their prices are better than any other piercing place Ive found so far. Bethany did my piercings and she was AWESOME. It really didnt hurt that much, just like a big pinch. Now that Im home... It still feels like theyre being pinched, but thats all.I would totally recommend this place.

Have been here twice now to get my daughters’ piercings and I was SO impressed with everything about it. The staff is so friendly and professional. They are also very on top of things when the person getting pierced doesn’t feel so good afterwards. Very caring. The shop is impeccably clean and upscale. I simply can’t say a bad thing about it. We will definitely be back. Thank you to Lauren who pierced my daughter’s nose and Mia who pierced the other daughter’s navel. You girls are amazing!!!

Today, I went and got a tattoo that Ive been wanting to get for the past 3 years! When I got there the wait time was only about 15 mins (with an appt) and then when it was time, the artist (Lauren) did an amazing job! She made sure to get everything exactly as I wanted, took care to make it as painless as possible, and only took an hr and a half! I was told by other studios that it would take 3-5hrs. The tattoo is beautiful and Im so glad I chose this studio to get it done. Its a very professional, clean, and accommodating establishment. 100% recommend!

Got my tattoo from Amy at more or less the spur of the moment (went with someone else getting her first, and for one for me). I LOVE her work! She was very personable and professional. The shop was beautiful and everything as clean as could be. Her work is top notch and I found her prices to be extremely reasonable. If you are looking for a beautiful tattoo, I cant recommend her enough!

I got my first tattoo from this studio and I could not be happier with how I was treated and, most importantly, how the tattoo came out. I emailed them with a few general questions and they responded to me the very next day at 7 in the morning! They were very happy to talk to me on the phone and I went to the shop that day to talk more about scripts to use and font sizes. The shop is kept in immaculate condition and every employee said hello to me and I was greeted with smiles all around. My tattoo was priced very fairly and was done in such a timely manor by Amy, the owner of the shop. Amy made me feel so comfortable and was amazing at her script work. I would recommend this studio to absolutely anybody interested in getting any tattoo. If I could recommend more than five stars, I WOULD!

I have gotten several tattoos here over the years. I was always a fan and referred people here...that is until today. On 8.26.22 I had a piece done by Lauren in Dormont. It had quite a few flaws and the shop and artist graciously agreed to do their best to fix it at no charge to me. I had a touch up on 9.30.22 and discussed some other things Id like to add/correct. Lauren said no problem, Ill make notes and just call to schedule. Fast forward to today- I called to schedule another correction/touch up as well as add in a small piece that we had discussed. The male receptionist was very rude from the time he picked up the phone. He got frustrated that I was trying to schedule for a piece that he did not have a picture of, despite me trying to explain that it was already discussed with the artist. He put me on hold to take another call, but prior to pressing hold, he audibly said I hate it when people call and... before putting me on hold. When he returned to the call, with an attitude and rude tone, I asked what does he hate when people call and if he had an issue with me scheduling. Let me tell you, I have never been so disrespected by someone who I was trying to bring business to. He got irate and started raising his voice at me. I very politely said to him that I would just reach out to the artist since he was having such an issue with me and he became even more rude stating thatbhe doesnt know who i thinknibam, but inwill not go around him. I am appalled that the receptionist a business would be so very rude to someone on the other end of the phone who is just trying to get her butchered tattoo corrected by the artist who did the sub par work. I will never recommend this shop to anyone again. Very disappointing because there are SOME very talented artists here and I have enjoyed coming here over the years.

I have been going to Amy for my tattoos for six years now. Her work is amazing. Amy is super cool, easy to talk with, and very patient. Her new studio is ultra clean and hip. I have recommended her to my girlfriend and her sister. They both love her work. Randy and the rest of the staff at The Pittsburgh Tattoo Studio are very nice. If you want an amazing tattoo that youll be super proud to show off, then you should go see Amy!

They have very poor customer skills and very disrespectful towards customers. If you want returning customers you should know how to and understand how to interact with people. When I wanted to cancel my appointment the man on the phone decided to call me back and scream at me and threaten me. They made it seem like they designed my tattoo already when I was the one drew up for them. Prior to canceling my appointment I tried to contact my the tattoo artist to get better understanding of her tattoo style and experience, but I was ignored. I highly recommend you get someone else answering your studios phone before your studio loose a lot more clients.Peace, Love, and Respect

This place is awesome! I wish I could give it more. The atmosphere is great and welcoming... The staff is awesome as well, theyre very welcoming and easy to talk to. Mia, the girl who pierced my rook knew exactly what she was doing, I watched every second of it so I knew everything was sterol, shes super organized and talked me through every step. I was nervous since not having been pierced in so long. Shes very soothing and gentle. I will definitely be going back to Mia. REQUEST HER, shes great!!

Have gotten multiple tattoos done by Amy and a piercing done by Mia and each experience has been great. Each employee is incredibly communicative and welcoming and their work is top quality. Have not even considered going anywhere else and would recommend to anybody wanting a tattoo or piercing.

I was told that I had the correct anatomy for an industrial when I apparently did not. I would have been fine with being told it was not the right piercing for me, since i knew that was a very real possibility. It wasnt a make or break and I had other piercings in mind if it wasnt an option. First off, the bar that was placed was excessively long and caused a lot of difficulties from the beginning. It was also externally threaded and not of great quality. Within 3 weeks I developed irritation bumps despite a meticulous cleaning regimen and care. 7 weeks later and they were still not healing and the bumps were worsening, on top of that the bar itself rested on the flat of my ear from the beginning causing a pressure spot. I was re-evaluated by a reputable piercer who said I should have never been told yes in the first place due to incorrect anatomy and how terrible the jewelry and placement were. I was also told that they frequently have to take out and fix piercings from this shop. I would recommend going elsewhere for piercings.

Loved, loved, loved Pittsburgh Tattoo Studio! My 1st tattoo ever! The studio is beautiful and extremely clean! My artist was Liz and she is very talented! She brought my ideas to life! Liz made the whole experience fun, relaxing and enjoyable! I highly recommend her to any and everyone!!

I got my nose pierced here in July, the place is very clean and very nice. The workers are all so friendly and helpful with decision making. I had an amazing experience here, and plan on returning. I have since told other people of my good experience. I cant remember my piercer name, she was only 18 so I was a bit hesitant, but she helped me through it and she was amazing. Im glad I picked this place. 5 Stars well deserved.

My bf and I got tattooed by Lauren. She was super sweet, easy to talk to and def made me feel more comfortable. She did such an amazing job on our tats 😊 def recommend her. Also the shop is always clean and staff are very friendly 🙂

Got my 1st tattoo here & couldn’t be happier with the experience. I called on New Year’s Eve to see if I could schedule an appointment by Saturday as I’m from out of town & would be leaving then. Can’t remember the name of the guy I spoke with on the phone but he was very friendly & accommodating. The shop was closed New Year’s Day & wasn’t suppose to reopen until 12pm on Saturday, however, he set my friend & I up with an appointment for 10am on Saturday so that we could be seen before we went home. When we got to the shop, we met our tattoo artist, Lauren, who was also very friendly & inviting. She did a great job & made the experience really easy going as she talked us through the process & kept up conversation so we wouldn’t be focused on the pain. Overall, I’m very pleased with the work & how awesome the staff was. Definitely recommend this place if you’re unsure of where to go.

Got a small, simple tattoo here today. I thought the studio was very clean and open. The staff members were nice, friendly, and professional. Amy was nice as well, made me feel comfortable, and patient with me as I felt faint. This studio was recommended to me, and I would definitely recommend this studio to anyone.

Randy and Amy were both so nice and helpful. The place is nice and clean and newly decorated. I went to Amy for the first time to have something covered up that I have had for close to 14 years. I gave her an idea of what I wanted and she came up with a beautiful new tattoo for me. You can no longer see that old tattoo I couldnt wait to get rid of and I absolutely LOVE my new tattoo and cant wait to go back to Amy to add more to it.My overall experience was EXCELLENT!

DO NOT BE FOOLED! I came here because I read the reviews and believed that this was a good place for a friend & I to get a navel piercing. Yes the store was clean and the customer service was great (we worked with Mia) - everything appeared perfectly fine. However I started having problems with my piercing right away and when I contacted the store I was assured that everything was fine. After four months of healing I noticed a horribly ugly scar developing, severe pain despite washing & proper care, my piercing was healing crooked, and had actually significantly moved from its original location. I went to a different reputable piercer for his opinion and he told me my body was beginning to reject the jewelry. He said it is because it was a low quality piece (one the store had pierced me with) and was held together with glue and plastic. He also said the piercing was too shallow (something Id feared at the time it was pierced & expressed). He removed the jewelry and showed me that the jewelry itself was so cheap the barbell was actually crooked - so I never even had a chance of it healing properly. I spent $50 walking in fully trusting the reputation of this company & the experience they offered. In the end I paid $50 for a great conversation with my piercer Mia & a huge ugly scar on my stomach that I will most likely live with from now on. Do not go to this shop for your piercing. Its a scam.

I had a great experience getting a tattoo and piercing here. My tattoo artist was Lauren and she not only did a great job in my tattoo but she was a pleasure to talk to for the 2-3 hours it took. It was a pleasant experience and every employee I interacted with was kind and friendly.

Recently got two piercings and to say the least it is a very clean place with really well presented and respectable staff. Its very laid back and chill, but also professional, and made me feel extremely comfortable and welcome. I highly recommend piercing there and the prices are very fair and affordable! Not really sure about the tattoos, but the designs displayed in the shop are beautiful and seems to be just as clean.

My daughter had a tattoo done by Lauren and she was just amazing!! She made us both feel very comfortable, she was so sweet and did wonderful work! The shop and her space were very clean and I would highly recommend this shop and Lauren.

This was my first experience at pgh tattoo studio. Lauren did mine and my partners tattoo and she was attentive, caring, very patient, and of course we got awesome ink out of it! She worked with me to spruce up my antique heart tattoo i got when i was 19 y.o. And bonus: shes SO funny. TPTS should have comedy night with Lauren, honestly. She talked to us the whole time, and its very obvious she likes her job and wants to be there. Thanks Lauren and TPTS!

Went here for my pony tattoo in March 2019. Amy did great! Lines are crisp and clean, everything looks awesome after healing up. The wife looked at mine, then looked at her own (done in Morgantown) and almost cried. Were going to make appointments for September to go back. Amazing work, couldnt be happier.

Lauren was so warm and welcoming for my mom, sister and I to get different ear piercings. She cleaned up after we each went and was careful to walk us through the process of each piercing. I appreciated the reasonable pricing as well!

I got my cartilage pierced and they got us in quick and got us done quick. the lady was very friendly and made the experience enjoyable. i had little pain during it and there’s barley any now (15 minutes after). overall a great experience!

Today I went in to get both of my ears pierced and to get a stud on my nose. Mia Johnston did my work and it couldnt have gone better. A sweet and amazing girl as well with the rest of her staff and shop. Pittsburgh Tattoo Studio does great work and has a great selection to choose from. Had an AMAZING experience and highly recommend for all who wants anything done!

Probably the absolutely worst experience ever. Great on the phone but when we arrived.... We drove in from out of town after emailing our design, placing a deposit, and being given a price. Running late, our appointment was at 7pm, we called at 7:01 and said wed be 10 minutes out. When we arrived, some dude showed us 3 sizes of our design and said that the price we were quoted and had left a deposit for was for a very small tattoo... Not what we told on the phone but ok. No problem.We picked a size and the guy asked us where we wanted it. After showing him, he said that he was going to the back to draw the stencil.20 minutes later, he returned with someone I can only imagine was the manager or owner who said that it was getting late, they already wasted 45 minutes, and it wasnt a good fit (us and the shop)... Are you kidding? We were waiting for their staff to prepare the stencil, had just driven 500 miles, and this BS?Anyway... We left, they did, thankfully refund the deposit after saying it wasnt their policy to do so, and we went elsewhere the next day and got a better, unique design at a better price.Avoid this place like the plague!

I went to Lauren to get a rib tattoo in remembrance of my grandfather who passed away this year. Besides the great quality of her work, I can already tell three days into recovery that she has an expert hand. I had no bleeding, no bruising, little swelling, and minimal pus. Despise being a rib tattoo, this was the quickest and easiest recovery I ever had for a tattoo and I cant wait until it is completely healed! If the artist who did my hip tattoo were to do this rib piece I would have been writhing in pain unable to sit still. Lauren was also great at keeping me distracted with some solid conversations. Will be coming back in the future for a coverup on my hip.(PSA: image is 3 days after application and still in the process of healing)

A+++ Amy is an exceptional artist and the shop is so clean.Edit: Have been going here for two years now and will not let anyone else tattoo me. Amy not only draws my ideas to life, when she puts them on my skin they are breathtaking. She is truly talented.

This place is awesome. Immaculately clean! All equipment and piercing jewelry is sterilized. There are separate rooms with full-body mirrors so you can see exactly what you look like before you leave. Brie pierced my ears...and even though I have lopsided earlobes, she made my piercings look symmetrical!! She worked with me for quite a while to make sure the marks were in good places. I already want to come back. Stellar experience!

Brought my 6 year old daughter her for her first ear piercings. Mia did a wonderful job of communicating what to expect, making my daughter feel comfortable, and clearly explaining how to care for the piercings. Super clean and comfortable environment too. I highly recommend.

4pm appointment..was told a few minutes. Waited for over an hour. Customer before had a 2:45 went back when I arrived @3:45. Obviously knew they were running late..no call to reschedule and no deposit refunded. Disappointed because wife has work done a few weeks ago without issue.

Today was my first time at The Pittsburgh Tattoo Studio. I had a great experience there. I appreciated how clean it looked and smelled inside. I went in to get my nose pierced. Right away I was greeted by Bri who was so friendly and professional. I was feeling anxious and she put me right at ease and was so personable. I will definitely come back again and will recommend the studio to my friends as well! Thanks Bri!

I travelled 4 hours yesterday to visit Pittsburgh and go to an event later at night. I was considering getting my nipple pierced for a few weeks (never thought seriously about it before - I imagined all sorts of pain) and decided to just go for it and get it done in Pittsburgh during the day. This being my first piercing I was definitely nervous as I walked through the door. The entire experience though was amazing, and Im really happy with it. Mia took care of me, explained everything well, couldnt have been sweeter, and the piercing itself is fantastic. I braced myself for pain but cant believe that I hardly even felt it! Im super excited about the piercing and the experience was so great that I wouldnt be nervous in the future for other piercings. Definitely would go there again! :)

Lauren is awesome. She designed a beautiful tribute piece that I wanted for my grandparents, and it came out beautifully

I went as moral support for my friend who got some piercings from them. The space was very clean from the lobby to the private room! Super comfy chairs to wait in and an awesome playlist! Very kind staff and the piercer, specifically, was lovely (much nicer experience overall than where I went for my piercings)! I might have to become a costumer, even though its a bit of a drive for me!

I got my cartilage pierced by Mia and had a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was comfortable and everyone there was super personable. I went less than 2 weeks ago, and my ear doesnt hurt at all; it even looks like it was done months ago!

I took my daughter here to get her ears done for her first piercings. The girl who does the piercings was super nice and very accommodating considering my daughter was nervous being her first time. The shop is very very clean and the staff very professional. I camt recommend enough.

This Place is awesome! From the first step you take in the door you can see that the Pittsburgh Tattoo Studio is something different, a refreshing upgrade from the typical dirty shop with cliché tattoo art samples covering the walls. The space is clean and aesthetically pleasing and their logo is pure genius! The three people there I have met (Co-Owners Amy and Randy and piercer Athena) are all super cool and very accommodating. There is no intimidation of giant tattoo covered biker looking guys about to take a needle to you. These are down to earth people that are fun and easy to talk to. They are very polite, professional and skilled at their craft. Amy, the lead artist is a top tattooist in the area. She will work with you to develop the perfect piece of art then can really deliver when it comes to the finished product. The images of her work on the website speak for themselves. They take the time to explain the process to make you feel at ease and comfortable once you are in the chair. It doesnt matter if this is your first experience in a tattoo shop or you are filling in the last bit of uninked flesh, you will like it here. I have sent many of my friends here and they are all very happy with the results. This isnt the cheapest shop in the city by any means but you get what you pay for and when it comes to tattoos I want the best, I am confident I have found it.

I got my tragus pierced there 6 weeks ago. Bri was so friendly, she made sure everything was completely sterile, and she was patient with adjusting the guide mark so the piercing was exactly where I wanted. She explained how to care for it very clearly and I’ve had no complications since. I would definitely recommend this studio to anyone.

Went in after looking online for a decent piercer. I was very happy upon walking in. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. When you go back to have your work done, they bring you to a private booth. Professional, clean, and they have an excellent selection of body jewelry.

I received three piercings at this location, and none of them were handled correctly. i had my conch done, which took approximately 10 seconds to get the needle through while the piercer shoved and twisted it through my cartilage, a miracle that healed. my nostril was done at an odd angle, and my tragus? didnt even last 24 hours when it was pierced in basically the side of my face with an extremely short bar, and hurt worse than the excruciatingly twisted conch piercing. these people are not the professionals they claim to be.

This was my first tattoo and I cant say enough great things about this studio and the artist. David Feden was my tattoo artist and from beginning to end he was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The entire staff was wonderful and made every step as smooth as possible. I cant recommend this studio enough.

I got my rook pierced there less than a month ago and the top metal ball kept falling out. The first time I was able to retrieve the metal ball and they put in back in. The SECOND time it fell out I called and they told me to come in and were going to charge me two dollars for a new ball which was kind of annoying, but not a big deal. Come to find out that the rod was defective and it wouldnt screw back on correctly. They wanted to take the old piercing out and put a new one in and charge me for the new piece after they said in the first place the original was defective. At this point my ear was already becoming more irritated from all the times they messed around trying to get the old ball put back on that I was annoyed and disappointed so I left without anything I needed and unfortunately my 40 DOLLAR piercing had to be taken out. Lets hope it doesnt get infected :)

Got a tattoo from Amy and honestly, the tattoo itself was ok… though she was pretty unprofessional. She criticized some of my other tattoos from other artists (even though the other work was waaay better than hers). As well, she didnt even wear gloves!!!! Talk about a clean environment?? Really?? Never going back again. I would not recommend her to anyone unless you want unprofessional service.

I visited the Pittsburgh Tattoo Studio for my first tattoo and they did a phenomenal job. The building was clean and organized, the pricing was fair, and the outcome was amazing. Lizzie did great work!

Very unhappy, people there are nice but horrible experience will never go back. Waited 2 hours to be seen took 5 minutes, and still had to pay full price. I shouldnt of had to pay full price there was nothing i could do since we had to put a deposit down. My friend got her ear pierced the next day she cleaned it and about 1 hour later a ball fell off, then about an hour later she lost the other ball. Not pleased at all with how our situation was handled if I could leave zero stars i would.

I hear a lot about Amy and not a lot about DAVE!! He is wonderful he did a small tattoo for both me and my dad very profession awesome script work! Kind and a wonderful artist! Also very clean! Highly recommend!

I got my nose belly and cartilage pierced here by MIA and honestly best experience ever, so clean so friendly so professional! Everything is great about this shop, i later sent my mom and my cousin to get their piercings there too!!And today i actually went it cz i had a piercing emergency my ring got out and the hole closed up in my nose i text MIA and she instantly tells me to come in and shell take care of it, repierced it and got it all nice and good again!!THANK YOU MIA AND THANK YOU PGH TATTO ART STUDIO!!Definitely recommend this place!!

Its a clean environment, comfortable for kids getting their first ear lobe piercing or adults getting their first or 10th tattoo. Good tattoo, piercing, jewelry, and aftercare prices. An absolutely predatory tattoo parlor. Don’t ever go here. They make their artists sign contracts that sign over all their artwork to the studio so they can’t use them in portfolios because it’s the ‘studios’ property. They work them to the bone and force them to take every walk in ever, not allowed to say no. There are so many problematic things about this place, it’s not even funny.

I had accepted a job here with the intention of becoming a tattoo artist- I was told that I would start out as more of a secretary position and work my way up to being trained- the owners clearly never had any intention of ever training me (anytime I would ask questions regarding tattoo artist subjects I would be told to only inquire about my job position or I was simply ignored) as for my position, I did everything I was asked of in the order it was asked and more, I really wanted to show them I was committed and wanted to advance in the field.. and any time I made an honest small mistake ( like sweeping the floor before cleaning the bathroom and stopping cleaning momentarily to help a fellow new coworker sign in) I was screamed at in front of everyone including clients and for the rest of the day was treated as less or a child and talked down on. Anytime I would offer to help anyone or suggest any ideas for the shop I was instantly screamed at and talked down on to a dehumanizing degree and told to stay in my place. This business and its owners are some of the cruelest and unprofessional people I have ever met. They made me feel so awful about myself and made me doubt my entire self and my choice of career. This is how they treat their employees, let alone the customers.I would encourage you all to give your hard earned money and business to another establishment.- Blessings-

I got my septum done here and it was extremely low and beyond painful due to them piercing it in the wrong spot. I bought jewelry from them and went to change it just to find out I couldnt even change it to any other jewelry because it wouldnt fit due to their poor placement. I asked for a repierce due to their mistake and they would not. They made me pay for it again even though it was their fault. Unprofessional. I will never go back again.

My 15 year old had a navel piercing done the woman was very professional and put my daughter at ease. Everything was clean and well organized. Highly recommend!

A. Freaking. Mazing. The culture of tattoo shops is usually the all-black clad equivalent of an old boys club. This is the polar opposite. Clean, beautiful shop that would make ANYONE feel comfortable (Ive even went in with my Mom!) and an absolutely amazing tattoo artist.Amy is wrapping up work on a half sleeve for me (amidst two other break point tattoos) that covered up work I had been told previously could never be fixed. Shes a miracle worker. Five stars all day long!

Amy has done three of my tattoos. Her work is great and Id highly recommend. Easy to have a conversation with which is nice.

I’ve only had piercings done here, however I have yet to have a bad experience. The staff are friendly, greeting you upon entrance. The shop is always clean. The piercers talk you through every step as they go. And pricing... you couldn’t ask for better pricing!

Went here for my birthday, to get a tattoo, and they refused to do what asked AND almost refused to give me my deposit back which was very annoying and made no sense considering they wouldnt do the tattoo I asked for.I only gave 3 stars because my sister got a small tattoo and was satisfied, but I will not be returning.

Amy did a great job taking my tattoo I had done 10 years ago and making it look new again. We even added to the tattoo and you cannot tell where the old was and where the new was added to it.
