Unbelievable, fantastic, amazing, phenomenal are words that can kinda measure up to the incredible experience I had with Jason here.The before and after says it all.He nailed the brief and didn’t at all make me feel silly about wanting somehow to make the cosmic, psychedelic owl look happy.It has healed perfectly and the colors are even more brilliant. I’m so grateful and can’t wait to go back for more!Thank you Jason!!

Well I was just sitting at home and needed some change in my life. And then remembered that my friend had her tattoo done at Three Rivers Tattoo. She loved it. So I called them. They were very nice and told me I can just walk in. And in 15 minutes I was there with no idea what to get. I knew they were closing soon so I had to make fast desition and that was a bit hard. It was a little awkward talking to my artist in the beggining. I think that because I said I may get something or may not. But Laine made me feel excited. She was not even my artist. My artist was Tyler. He was very nice. I think He convinced me that my tattoos have to make sence only to me and there are no rules. I wish I believed in that before my first tattoo. He finished my tattoo very fast. It looks great. Everything like paperwork , stencil etc. took about an hour. And now I have new beautiful tattoo. Its my first visible one and let me tell you, I already whant more. My experiance in Three Rivers Tattoo was very nice. Thank you Tyler

I had the misfortune of visiting this tattoo shop, and it was an absolute nightmare. The staff was rude and dismissive, treating me like I was inconveniencing them by being there. Not only that, but the quality of the work was abysmal. My tattoo looks like a childs drawing, and Im embarrassed to even show it to anyone. Save yourself the time, money, and headache, and steer clear of this place. I wouldnt recommend it to my worst enemy.

Great group of talented artists that are masters of their craft! The owners are great people! Clean space and a great atmosphere! Friendly and not intimidating. Joe has been very calculated with his design work on my body! Highly recommended. You wont be disappointed!

I was recommended Three Rivers Tattoo from a friend. I was not disappointed. I emailed Laine thoughts and pictures of something I would want and asked her to make it her own design. I got exactly what I asked for and more for what I think was modestly priced. Looking back on it, I wish I would have tipped her more. I will be going back for more work.

Came down on a Thursday to see if anyone had walk in time and decided to set up an appointment with Joe Bruce for a larger piece. Good music and plenty of comfortable seating greets you along with beautiful flash art covering the walls. Each individual artists portfolios and sketch books are front and center and ready for examination, and their talent and skill absolutely speaks for itself. The experience itself was comfortable and treated with the utmost professionalism from start to end, and I couldnt be any happier with the result!

Joe Bruce has done pretty much every tattoo I’ve gotten for the last 17 years. This shop is full of talented artists who are friendly and inviting to those of us covered and for folks getting their first tattoos. It’s clean and safe and they go out of their way to make sure you have a comfortable experience. There’s no better shop in the city.

Everyone was extremely nice and the place was very clean! I had Joe and he was the best. I do not handle pain well but he was very understanding and helped me through it. Highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Jason Mcgarry is honestly one of my favorite tattoo artists here. Ive been getting tattoos from him for what seems like forever now. Everyone else in the studio is so pleasant and nice as well. The atmosphere is very welcoming and I have never had an issue with anyone. I will continue to support the company and my man Jason. Thank you Three rivers for being one of the best tattoo shops!

I went here for my first tattoo and was extremely disappointed within a week. once my tattoo started healing, i had realized my artist went too deep on some lines and they got blown out. he didn’t tattoo the same way he sketched it out and since i have a low pain tolerance i couldn’t stare at the needle and i didn’t even pay attention to the small details. i got a quote added onto it and the lettering is HORRIBLE. the words are crooked and some are blown out and too thick. the artist was rude and inconsiderate of my comfort for my first tattoo, and i later on found out the style of tattoo i wanted is a style the artist frowned upon doing. the only artist at this shop i can genuinely recommend is laine. i’ve been to one other artist since then at a different shop and the rest of my tattoos are incredible, all with no thanks to this shop.

My daughter wanted her ears pierced. So we decided that for her 7th birthday that she was old enough to make that decision. We read the reviews and heard how amazing Jenny was. The reviews were 100% accurate. She was better then 100%. She knew exactly what to say and made my daughter comfortable. She is an amazing individual and great at her craft. She took her time and made sure that my daughter was happy and owned this decision about her body. I absolutely would recommend anyone looking to get a piercing for themselves or their child to come to Jenny for a top of the line unforgettable experience!! Thanks Jenny !!

Joe Bruce, Laine and the rest of the staff run a top-notch business. The shop is very clean, and so very organized. Joe’s work is brilliant. He tattooed two pieces for me, and I cannot be happier. The healing process also went so much smoother than I’ve experienced with other tattoos. The only negative was that it took me six weeks to get in with Joe, so plan accordingly. But it’s so worth it. Other artist are available for walk-ins. Please trust Three Rivers with your tattoo and piercing needs. You will not be disappointed.

Ive been tattooed here and pierced! Absolutely amazing experiences every time I visit. Everyone who works here is kind and considerate, encouraging, and helpful. They really take care of their clients and do such beautiful work. The space is gorgeous and unique, and I feel so comfortable being there.

Got my ears pierced by Jenny and it was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend her. She was careful to make sure they were evenly spaced and had me verify the placement before piercing. Very friendly and made me feel very comfortable.

You can not get a better combination than Three Rivers. They are ridiculously talented, super professional and the nicest human beings around! I have never felt more at ease and more happy with my results! Austin has done two of my tattoos and I am still obsessed with them! Jenny has pierced my lip and also helped me out when someone had pierced my lip wrong. I just got a cartilage piercing here about two weeks ago. The shop is very clean, super stylish, and inviting. Jenny was an awesome conversationalist and gave me a bunch of jewelry options. The piercing was a super great price and I was able to get some saline spray with it too. Its healing nicely, and I cant wait to get back to get another one!

We took our 4.5 year old daughter to get her ears pierced. Jenny was truly amazing and I would tellYou, if you have a little kiddo that is getting pierced... you HAVE to go to Jenny!! She went above and beyond to make sure my daughter had the best experience possible. She was gentle and caring and took her time. And it was obvious she was very skilled and passionate about what she does. I can’t even imagine going anywhere else! She even let my family quietly watch in the back of the room. Three Rivers Tattoo is an exceptional shop. The shop itself it beautiful as are the people who work there. Ive gotten tattooed here multiple times but a few of the tattooers and have walked out every time feeling great. Tattoos are reasonably priced and professionally done. I had an amazing experience at Three Rivers Tattoo. I came here for my first tattoo. Jason was my artist and delivered exactly what i wanted. From the placement, to the size, everything was spot on. Made getting tattooed way more easy, and way less painful than i thought. I will definitely be going to Jason for future tattoos.

Joe Bruce did a small and sentimental piece for me, copying very unique handwriting from a birthday card and it is simply amazing. I could not be happier. It looks as if my grandmother had written it herself. Incredible.Also, the place is incredibly clean and the staff is incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and talented. Just got my nose pierced by Jenny! Absolutely fabulous experience. Shes expert at what she does and made me feel so comfortable. This was my second time having it pierced, and she answered all my questions and made sure the placement was perfect. HIGHLY recommend :)

Made a walk in appointment when my partner and I were walking down the street we talked to Jenny and she encouraged us to come in and meet who was there. The shop is so clean, and everyone is so nice. We both ended up getting tattooed and already have plans to come back!

I would give 10 stars if I could. I went for a nose piercing after ready reviews on the Pittsburgh North Families group on Facebook. I drove all the way from Beaver Falls, Pa to see Jenny. Mind you there are many good artists out my way, but the reviews of her work really enticed me to go so I did. What a beautiful soul she has! Just a phenomenal human being and she has a keen eye for what she does. My nose piercing looks great! What should have been like a 10 minute appt turned into a 45 minute appt because we just could NOT stop talking. Shes awesome. I highly reccomend her to any and everyone that wants to get a piercing!!

Booked a traditional pet portrait tattoo with Jason, he did an absolutely fantastic job! I will be back for more tattoos from him! The facility was very clean and handled covid precautions seriously, which is important to me!

Absolutely the best tattoo shop experience you’ll have anywhere. I’m now a regular. All the artists work is amazing and they will steer you towards the correct artist based on what work you’re having done. The shop is very friendly, clean and well organized the owners are artists in the shop and take great pride in their work and the business they’ve built.

I got a full set of freckles done from Cheyenne - she was so kind, professional and knowledgeable! I would absolutely recommend her for any of her services and I cant wait to get back for additional freckles. She was amazing!!!

Cleanliness and piercing experience fine except only low quality cheap jewelry available (externally threaded). I had a fussy cartilage piercing that wasnt healing properly. It was only after I was on vacation in L.A., and had it changed out did I learn that the jewelry was too snug for the piercing (too short didnt allow for swelling), and it was externally threaded. It was a night and day difference in pain relief within 12 hours once higher quality stud was put in place. Piercing itself was never actually infected-just irritated. Also I didnt see proof jewelry was autoclaved, which I later learned should ALWAYS be the case (they put my piece right in the machine in front of my eyes at both Maria Tash in NYC and Body Electric in LA). Knowing this I probably wont use them again for piercing, and I have twice in the past...Do your homework on what should be standard in the piercing industry. I feel like a few simple steps could really improve this place even if it meant raising the prices, or at least having higher quality jewelry options available.

This shop is top notch. Joe is a true pro who Ive known for over a decade. If you are new to getting tattooed feel reassured that you will be well taken care of if you choose to come here.

My friend recommend me this place and this place is so nice and clean. Everybody is so friendly there is a really cute lady will help you open the door and take temperature, that make me feel really comfortable. Most important thing is Austin is doing really amazing work make sure you make appointment before you visit.

About 3-4 months ago, I had my hips tattooed by Laine, she was really nice & I liked her a lot, but my tattoos scarred terribly. the ink didn’t hold where I am now scarred, & getting these tattoos was more painful than getting my STERNUM & RIBS done because she was so heavy handed. I advise anyone going there to use extreme caution. also, the lines on my tattoos are very shaky.

Super happy with the tattoo I had gotten last week I didn’t catch the artist name but he was very friendly and had a tattoo on his palm and was able to take me on a walk in basis, it was in honor of my dad fighting kidney disease. I was impressed with such quick service and how welcomed I felt! I will be coming back for my next tattoos!

I had a terrible experience at Three Rivers Tattoo! I had emailed Jason dimensions and photos, however when I showed up for my appointment the artwork was double the size. He refused the change the artwork, complaining that hed have to redraw it, his suggestion was dont get tattood today. He was rude and condensing!!

Ive been going here since theyve opened. Had multiple tats done by 2 artists and one piercing. All have been great with no problems. Down to earth people who do great work for fair prices.

Ive been tattooed by Joe a few times and have had a lovely experience. This shop is beyond professional and clean and all employees have been kind to me. I drive quite far to get tattooed here and plan to return for future tattoos.

I am enthralled by the art that Seth created on my thigh this past summer.I presented him with a photograph of an artists drawing in color. We decided to do it in black and grey. There are details that I never saw in the drawing to begin with. The soft spoken artist has a gentle touch, and when it comes to black and grey, he totally slays it.

Very clean relaxing atmosphere. My artist Ryan was very professional and personable. Had a great experience and will be a repeat costomer. I will and do recommend three rivers to everyone.

My son and I got our ears pierced here (a rook for him and a helix for me) by Jenny and all went well. I had to come back a week or so later as I screwed mine up (I didnt want the ball on it, and got it stuck when cleaning it). They saw me right away and took care of it. That was my bad. LOL

Got a small tattoo here, just black lines. It’s awful, the lines don’t even connect or are straight. The lines are also super thick which I did not want. Huge regret that I chose this shop.

Joe did did a fantastic job! There was great communication leading up to the appointment, and he worked with me once I arrived to make sure I had that tattoo that I wanted. The environment was relaxing and the entire staff was very friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure safety and cleanliness in these Covid-19 times. I would recommend this shop to anyone, very happy with the results!

I have gotten my 1st ink there on st.patrict day.at the age of 54. My son and daughter who always goes there to get their tattoo work done i decided to get one honoring my dad with his dog tag. Laine was such a sweetheart that she made me feel at ease and walked me thru everything.some people at first thought it was real.i will be getting more done since the work was awsome the place was so clean and the staff was second to none.thank you so much you would of made my dad so proud.

Take it off your list of services that you do piercings. Called to see if they had someone to pierce my ears and was given a rude response that they don’t do piercings. Like I’m supposed to know they don’t do piercings when they list it online. Ignorant.
