Sasha is my favorite piercer in the bay! Very professional, makes sure you’re comfortable. Studio is so clean, selection of jewelry is amazing, the environment is very welcoming and the vibes are just great. This is the 4th piercing Sasha has done for me and I will be returning for another!

Got an anti-eyebrow with Sasha and it was the best experience! Super accommodating and let me be indecisive and go over which jewelry I wanted and compare how each would look on my skin many times and then the piercing process was super quick and easy. Also very clean and neat shop. Will be returning for more piercings!

Got a second nose piercing with Jess. She was fantastic. It’s been a long time since I last got a piercing. Jess took her time with me to really work out placement and make my vision happen. I would definitely return for all other piercings in the future. Thanks Jess!

Jess is a star!!!! I came in needing a septum replacement and was given the most kind, extraordinary care. We worked within my budget and Jess replaced the jewelry for me. I am sooooo happy with how I look! Upgrade!!!! The time and personalization was such a gift considering I’m just passing through SF right now. To have feel safe with a kind stranger speaks volumes ESPECIALLY when there’s a needle involved! Also! The studio is sooooo cute! And the options for jewelry are gorgeous! What a special experience. SashaBlue is amazing! I was recommended here by a friend and so glad I went here to get my nose piercing. Beautiful selection of jewelry to choose from and SashaBlue is such a pro with the placement and the piercing itself, such finesse I hardly felt anything -- this is the only place Ill go from now on. All the staff are super nice too. Cant wait to come back for more! :D

Ive been going to 13 bats for all of my piercing/earring needs for the past couple years, and just now remembered to write a review!Sasha is the piercer there and she made all of my visits awesome! Its a safe, no judgement, and very chill zone to be in. I did a ton of research for piercing studios before finding 13 bats, and I have no regrets.Even ran into some trouble from sleeping on my piercings, and after Sashas help with some troubleshooting, they feel good as new! Would definitely recommend going here for piercings, and earrings are reasonably priced!Will be going to 13 bats as long as Im in the bay area (or run out of space to be pierced) (:

Got ear gauges stretched. Fun interior. Clean!! Reasonable prices. Professional and super fun and smart owners-- Sascha (piercing) Andrew (tattoos) The best conversationalists. Now I know what its like having the best hairdresser at your beauty parlor. You know the lady, you can talk about everything with her! We talked family dysfunction to hard core SF politics and social justice to social problems with spicy outrageous repartee. SUPER FUN PLACE to get your skin punched and colored, though I havent had a tattoo...yet!

Sasha is AMAZING! She did such a wonderful job piercing my nose (left nostril; tiny gold stud). I was nervous making an appointment without seeing the jewelry/studio to know if they had what I wanted & if Id be comfortable. But, Sasha came highly recommended by another body piercer (and very positive Yelp & Google reviews--trust them!).I also emailed to ask if I should schedule a consult first and they reassured me theyd have the jewelry I was looking for (they did! plus many other super cute options!), so I went ahead and made a piercing appointment. The benefit of appt-only was that I was the only person getting a piercing, so there was very little COVID risk and no other distractions.Even though I was actually re-piercing my nose (which I originally did myself with a sewing needle as a teen, yikes!), I was still nervous about it and asked a million questions. Sasha made me feel 1000% comfortable, providing lots of details about everything including the jewelry, piercing, and after care.She did the piercing with such precision, it barely hurt at all. Its one day later and my nose doesnt even feel sore! Im so happy with how it looks (a pretty little highlight for my face). Exactly what I wanted! Highly recommend!!

I will come to this place if I ever decide to put another piece of jewelry in me. Sasha IS THE BEST, I texted her so late and she responded so quickly. She truly cares about her customers, how they feel and makes them feel at home. Not only did I come here for a piercing but I came here for amazing advice on life and she charges a great price for great quality jewelry. She will not let you down. The experience was great and my cartilage piercing was fine for a while, and then I was told to use baking soda to help the swelling over a year later… tried that, was unsuccessful, and when I visited another studio to inevitably have the piercing removed, I told them that and they looked at me like I was crazy.After further research, I had trouble with this piercing likely because I began with a hoop vs a stud, which they did not advise me about during my appt. Being that this was my first piercing, that point would’ve been good to know

This is a super cool lil shop. The staff are awesome people. Kind, attentive, gentle, and trustworthy. The decor is eclectic gothy which feels exactly like my tattoo spot back home that I love, and the jewelery they choose to sell is top notch and actually cool designs.Editing to add: I had this at 4 stars but am changing it to 5 and wish I could give them even more somehow! Wrote up this review including being bummed about unclear pricing for things like jewelery swaps and consultations and the shop reached out to me by email to explain the context. They addressed every single (mild) concern and did so nicely. And despite not needing to, they even refunded me the difference of what I had expected plus my tip. I so appreciate such empathy, integrity, professionalism, and kindness for what would be a very easy detail to gloss over. The care to read, respond, and even take immediate action to ensure a good experience and understanding of their shop shows the attention detail you can trust. Thank you Sasha!!

Loved my experience with Sasha! I was there for a cartilage piercing which is usually quite hideously painful. Sasha however made me feel so comfortable, sanitized the area diligently and gave me excellent aftercare instructions. Highly recommend!

I drive all the way from Turlock just to have Sasha do all my piercing and help me with all my jewelry needs..Sasha is very kind she’s very knowledgeable..She has a huge selection of jewelry nice jewelry too! Amanda is so incredible. I can’t say enough great things about her. Beyond being a wonderful artist, she is kind, compassionate, and understanding. She really goes out of her way to create a safe environment for her clients. I’ve gotten tattooed by her many times over the years and I can’t wait for even more!I have not gotten pierced with Sasha yet but I am sure I will be in soon enough! They have a very impressive selection.

Sasha is amazing!! Apart from being very accommodating, she will help you relax and not get nervous. They said it hurts to get a conch pierced but I didnt feel too much, because Sasha is good! I loved my helix too! I also recommended her to my friend who is planning to get a helix.

The tattoo artist Amanda is amazing with her work! Very patient & understanding of what I wanted in the tattoo and she reassured my comfort during the process. The shop is super wild and colorful and overall super cool. The shop owners are really chill and professional and they treat you like a friend. Definitely recommend coming here for a tattoo or piercing.

I got my first tattoo done with Amanda and it was just an awesome experience from start to finish. Amanda is super communicative and pays close attention to detail. I was a bit nervous and just by talking to her and her describing the process, my nerves were put at ease. She’s a fun person to talk to and her work is amazing. My tattoo is beautiful! The shop is beautiful and everything is so clean, I felt safe the entire time I was there. I highly recommend this shop and I will definitely be returning for another tattoo.

I had a great experience here, and I love my new septum piercing. I found 13 Bats because I was looking for an APP certified piercer and Sasha is it! She is super friendly, knowledgable, and caring, and if I ever decide to get another piercing I will definitely go to her. The shop is clean and comfy, and the selection of jewelry is amazing-- I will definitely be getting my next piece of jewelry from here. Love it, 13 out of 10.

Had my belly piercing there - Sasha was great to work with, super passionate and pays a lot of attention to details! I was lucky to be able to arrange an appointment the day of. Really liked the selection of jewelry there too. The piercing process itself was smooth and overall I had such a great experience, would 10/10 recommend!

I just got my first cartilage piercings and 3rd lobes done by Sasha and the experience was amazing! Sasha was super professional and consulted me on what would look best for my anatomy and jewelry preferences. There is also a beautiful selection of jewelry. Really beautiful space; both pristinely hygienic and super welcoming and fun. The owners and staff embody these values also by being really chill but totally professional at the same time. Their jewelry selection is excellent and unique, and Amanda, the tattoo artist, is mega talented, versatile, and creative. If you want some top notch body decorations and you prefer to skip the pretentious attitude too often found at piercing/tattoo studios, I totally recommend the good folks at 13 Bats!

This review is for Amanda. I’ve had 2 tattoos done by her - my last tattoo was done Sept. 2021My first tattoo experience went great. She did a great job helping me put together a custom design and the tattooing also went smoothly. When I was ready for my next tattoo, I naturally reached back out to Amanda.The 2nd time, my experience was frustrating. I asked Amanda to draw up a tattoo with a couple specific items. When she showed me the design (the night before the appointment), a key part I had asked for was left out of her design. This was something I had reiterated I wanted in our email exchanges.I felt very uncomfortable moving forward with the custom piece so close to my afternoon appointment so I offered a backup design that was much simpler and I asked if we could tattoo that instead. Understandably, Amanda had hesitation to do that last minute. Considering that, I offered to reschedule our appointment so we could have more time to redesign the custom piece. Amanda then told me I would lose my deposit if we rescheduled so close to the appointment.That, to me, is the most frustrating part here - if a client isnt comfortable moving forward with a custom piece after seeing it for the first time less than 24 hrs before going on their body, they forfeit a deposit of $100? With that business policy, it doesnt seem like making sure the client is completely comfortable with their tattoo is Amandas top priority.We ended up going with the simple back-up design, but the appointment was quite a cold and uncomfortable experience. After the appointment, Amanda passive aggressively posted on her instagram complaining about clients who dont appreciate all the effort that goes into her custom designs. Where is there healthy space for clients to offer feedback and/or re-work a piece?Getting a tattoo is an experience you carry with you. Its frustrating to look at this piece and remember how poor and unprofessional it went. If youre looking to create a custom piece, Id highly recommend going elsewhere.

I got a small tattoo done with Amanda and everything from booking the appointment to my time spent in the shop was a simple and lovely experience. Amanda was very communicative through the whole process and a delight to talk with. The shop follows all Covid-19 hygiene protocols and I felt very comfortable while there. I highly recommend to anyone looking to get a new tattoo or piercing!

I came to this place as my nose piercing hole unexpectedly closed and I wanted to get my hoop ring back in. The staff there were friendly & helpful and quickly solved the issue. The atmosphere and aesthetic is awesome too!!

Went to get a replacement stud for a peircing. Had to wait a little but not too long. Replacement was rather expensive. Staff was great though. Will go back if Iever need anything.

Got a nice hummingbird inked by Amanda. Loved how crisp and clean the lines are. She really made the colors pop as well. Super steady hand, great communication throughout the process.

Shes done all my piercings and strechings, and have had her do some close friends, all with great results. She takes care of all my piercing needs, wouldnt think of going to anyone else
