I visited Rose Gold for another set of ear piercings and had a fantastic experience. Everything was very clean and hygienic in the studio. Manny helped me style new jewelry and was super friendly and gentle throughout the process. He has a great eye for detail and listened to what I wanted. I’m looking forward to going back for a helix piercing next time!

I had a fab experience. The front desk staff were super friendly. Manny who pierced my nose was very thorough explaining the process and after care, he was gentle and the piercing didnt hurt much at all. I felt a little weird after due to being nervous and Manny was very patient and kind, letting me chill out there until I felt better. I am not able to come back to this location for follow up appointment, so Manny told me what to ask for at another studio and wrote out clear instructions. I would highly recommend!

Working with Ben on my leg piece has been great. We are four sessions in and I am thrilled with the work. It’s a pleasant and clean space and chatting with Ben and Arlene has been fun. I recommend this shop often and will continue to do so.

Cool shop. Nice people working there - didnt feel super fake. Helped us narrow down what we wanted, by searching for references and by listening and reworking what we found. Had a group of 4, we all left happy.

A spectacular shop full of talented artists and piercers!Ben did a wonderful job on a small, hand-written word on my right wrist/forearm, and I cant say enough about Perrys warmth and professionalism. He helped me rehab a *terrible* daith (that piercer had lied to me about their level of experience and the quality of their jewelry, but thats another story), and he was eventually able to re-pierce it properly with a gorgeous gold ring. He also did my nostril piercing, and both are now healing beautifully. Mel at the counter is absolutely delightful and will always make an effort to see you promptly even during the shops (often) hectic days.Rose Golds is my go-to shop in SF, and I cant recommend them highly enough!(Sorry for the subpar photos, Im camera angle-inept, but I tried.)

Super friendly and warm. More expensive than other places because they use gold in their piercings. They take pictures of all their clients. I give 5 stars for the attitude, attention, cleanliness, & the fact that my tragus piercing never had one infection, and healed up perfectly. 😀

Alana was absolutely wonderful with giving me my nostril piercing. Her bedside manner was calming and the appointment was quick and easy, and very professional. Also- the selection of jewelry is great! Very high quality. And the lounge/waiting area is very welcoming, stylish and light-filled. If you are a bit anxious about getting a piercing or ink done, I highly recommend this place. You’ll be in good hands!!

It was my first time at Rose Gold and they exceeded all my expectations. Being that they are always so busy, I expected to feel rushed, but they were so welcoming and genuinely kind. They have an amazing jewelry collection. Perry was my piercer and he was probably the nicest piercer I have ever met, and his technique was like butter. I didn’t feel a thing. 10/10 recommend them!

I’ve gotten one tattoo and multiple piercings here. Mel and Perry are outstanding! I’ve never seen a studio with such a welcoming, sanitary and safe atmosphere. Perry is the best piercer and I can’t recommend him enough. If you’re ever nervous about a piercing, they know how to talk you through the entire process and make sure you’re okay with every step of the way. Above and beyond! Perry puts the gold in Rose Golds. I was a little nervous since this was my first nose piercing experience, and Perry very patiently walked me through the whole process, right down to helping me choose the most complimentary nose stud. Everyone at the shop was kind and professional. Im thrilled with the outcome.

This place is amazing!! My friend & I both had appointments with Alana, and she was so incredible and professional. I was getting an additional cartilage piercing, and she was very helpful with what kind of piercing and earring would fit best with my own personal aesthetic. My friend was getting her very first piercing and was super nervous, and Alana was super kind, patient, and supportive with her. She took as much time as we wanted to select our jewelry, and was obviously very knowledgable about everything they had to offer in store. Overall, Alana was helpful, personable, and professional, and I couldnt recommend her more.The person working the front desk, Mel, was also so kind and welcoming. She offered us water & generally made our experience super low-stress. The shop itself was also super clean & well kept, which only added to the welcoming environment. Such an awesome shop full of awesome humans.PS: They also allow you to state your pronouns on their release form, which I really appreciated as a genderqueer person :)

Ive been coming to Rose Gold / Fiat Lux for all my piercing/ jewelry needs since I was a teenager. Each experience has been standout in terms of customer service. The jewelry selection is also fantastic. Highly recommend!

Really liked my experience here! Alana pierced my nose, and she was super patient with me. Both Alana and Alex were overall very kind and thorough in showing all the jewelry options. Alana also really explained how to thoroughly do aftercare. The nose piercing did hurt a bit with a pinching sensation, but it was really not that bad. It causes some eye watering, but thats just reflex.

After having poured through different photos for a few weeks, I came in here with a few ideas of piercings I wanted, but was uncertain which were actually possible with the shape of my ear. Perry was able to quickly take a look at my ear and rule some out, and suggest others which could work better for me.I decided to go with a forward helix piercing, but when it came time to pick jewelry, I fell in love with an oval piece that wouldnt work for the piercing I had in mind. Perry took a look at it and said this would be perfect in a conch piercing and held it up for me to see. I loved the way it looked, but I hadnt gotten a piercing in 10 years and was worried about the pain and healing (conches seem painful to me, idk why). He assured me it was an easy piercing and healing process so I decided to do it. He was absolutely right. He did the piercing in a split second, and it was the least painful piercing Ive ever had. The first thing I said was woah youre really good! and the second was Ive had flu shots more painful than that. 10/10 would recommend coming here for a piercing.The thing I love most is the placement. The jewelry faces forward and is always visible, but looks great from the side too. It catches the light and really adds some character. Cant wait to come back and get some piercings on the other ear!A note on pricing: all of the jewelry they sell is fine metals, diamonds, and semi precious stones. For the simplest plain ball, youre looking at 60ish dollars, but for anything else, it seemed like the pricepoint was between $100-200 and much more for the really bling-y pieces (there was one in there I adored that was $550). They have simple diamond studs, but they dont pierce with the smallest size, so you need to buy at least the medium size, which was ~$130 (the large was $150 I think). Im in the phase of my life were I want nice things thatll last, so I thought it was worth it, but definitely be willing to shell out if you come here to be pierced.

I have been coming to this business for all my piercings since the OG days and the reason I am too stubborn to go anywhere else, even after moving out of state, is because of the quality of service they give. I came back to them to redo my nose piercing and the process became quiet comical in the end for it to finally happen, but it happened! Forever thankful for them not only treating me as a returning client, but as a person who obviously needed some support during a trying year. Thank you all so much for the love and care. Cant wait to come back!

The people we met at Rose Gold were very professional and extremely kind. It was obvious Brooke knew what she was doing.They have gorgeous jewelry options but it’s VERY EXPENSIVE here as the options are mainly solid 14k gold and real precious stones. So just be prepared to drop $300 more or less on a single piercing.Worth it tho

Just got my nose piercing put back in. It was incredibly quick, no wait time, and the charge amounted to 5$ for the reinsertion. Thanks for the great, fast, and affordable service.

Got a septum piercing with Perry and it was a fabulous experience. The shop is clean and lovely, the staff is kind and welcoming and folks are masking. To get my septum pierced, I did have to show my negative Covid test from that morning. It was reassuring af.Perry was so kind and professional, walked me through the process and made sure I was comfortable before proceeding to the next step. I love my piercing and I would definitely go back for any future piercing needs.

Came here for a belly piercing Recently and had a great experience! Everyone was extremely nice and welcoming. I believe the woman that did my piercing was Brooke. She made me feel comfortable and didn’t rush me . I would definitely recommend coming here !!!! I plan on getting another piercing here. Pricing was not bad at all and the prices are explained so there isn’t any surprises at the end. I did make an appointment online but walked in hoping to get seen sooner and I did! Probably waited less than 30 min for a walk in belly piercing and had a great experience. Thank you so much love my piercing!!

I have been to several piercing shops around the city, and this one was *by far* the most welcoming, pleasant and comfortable one that Ive been to. I came in on a whim the other day to get a new nose ring, and both of the employees behind the desk were incredibly patient with my myriad questions.I even came back a few hours later as I realized I wanted something different, and they both very patiently and kindly helped me out until I was satisfied with my decision.The experience here was just incredible, from start to finish. I couldnt recommend this place more. They also have a beautiful selection of high-quality jewelry, at what I thought was a very reasonable price.

I am really not one to write reviews, but this experience is unlike I’ve ever had before. I extensively researched to get my first tattoo, like most people. Rose Golds seemed perfect, location, indoors were beautiful, reputable staff, and good reviews. I proceeded, and booked a tattoo with Arlene about a month before the date I was going to get it ( my birthday ). I paid a $100 deposit. Arlene had a last minute emergency come up, which is totally understandable, and needed to change the day. I had planned my birthday weekend around the tattoo, so having it on another day would not work for me. I told her a further date would not work, and she refused to give me my deposit back. In her policy, which I extensively read, nothing was stated that I would not get my money back if THE ARTIST rescheduled. I hoped to come to an agreement, the only one she could come up with was a different tattoo at a later date, but I am moving in a month. My birthday had a wrench thrown at it, with no flexibility from her. I would not recommend booking with Rose Golds as their artists have unclear policies and will end up ripping you off.That being said, when I called on the phone the lady I spoke to was extremely understanding and kind, still noting was actually done. I went to moms tattoo shop (right down the street) and was treated professionally and got the tattoo as a walk in on my birthday!! Still lost $100 for a mistake that was not my own. DO NOT BOOK

I got my nostril pierced by Brooke and she took her time making sure that everything is super symmetrical and the piercing itself was so quick and painless. Already planning my next ones! Best experience Ive had in a shop. VERY clean, and super friendly staff. Perry removed my surface anchors for me. Took him not even 30 seconds for each. I was so nervous, and he reassured me there was no reason to be. He walked me through the process, and didnt surprise me anything. It was quick, painless, and a pleasant experience! I love rose gold!! The quality is top notch and Perry, the resident piercer, is so sweet and incredibly skilled. Ive gone here to get all my piercings done while living in the bay Area and I wouldnt go elsewhere. It is a little pricey but all their jewelry is extremely high quality and youre paying for perfection.

Recently got a nose piercing here with Alana - first-rate everything. Beautiful shop with a broad selection of jewelry and friendly staff. I’m kind of a wimp with pain but Alana guided me through the whole process and I’m so pleased with the result. I’d recommend this place in a heartbeat.

Great staff. I had a great experience getting both of my ear lobes pierced. Alana was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The earrings were $100 each (prices vary) and there is a 20% discount ($180) with the piercing ($25) and saline spray ($10) it cost about $215 before tax. The shorter posts you will need a month later cost $27 (titanium). It only takes a few mins to have them change the posts for you.

SUCH a great piercing studio! They have absolutely beautiful jewelry (a little too easy to spend a bit too much $$$) and the staff and piercers are super friendly and knowledgeable.I got a daith, flat, and upper lobe piercing and Perry gave me confidence that they would look awesome together in my ear, and they absolutely do!I can’t wait to go back to get more piercings!

This was my first time at rose golds and this will not be my last! they have the most beautiful selection of gold jewelry, diamonds and gems. pretty pricey pieces but fine jewelry is an investment and i definitely got what i paid for. both of the ladies working were kind and inviting. i plan on come backing in the future to change my current jewelry once i have enough checks saved lol. 10/10 experience!!

Perry pierced my daughter’s ears a few weeks ago. She was nervous and has put off getting them done for a few years, but was determined to do it that weekend. We had plenty of time and support picking out her jewelry, and Perry really gave her control of the situation, and spent time explaining everything in detail to make her comfortable. He gave her a simple and effective routine to care for her piercing. My review doesn’t do this service justice, it was truly exceptional and we felt so taken care of.

Incredible selection of BVLA products paired with amazingly helpful and kind staff who are happy to consult on which pieces would aesthetically work with each other. Didnt come here for a piercing as they were booked out; however, I bought three pieces and they installed them for me on the spot. I walked out extremely pleased with my new purchases and the experience overall.

Ive been to the shop twice. I spent too much time asking questions and drooling over the sick jewelry selection. Still, Perry and Melissa made me feel welcome, answered all my questions and helped me make the right selection for my body. When a piercer suggests you dont get a piercing you want very badly because you dont have the anatomy for it, and also provides alternative suggestions for what WILL work for you, they prove their professionalism and integrity. Best experience ever! I had a problem with an old nose piercing. It needed to be redone, but I was looking for a place with an experienced, well-trained staff, and someone who was compassionate about my fear of pain & scarring.Another shop said they couldnt help me, but thanks to their honesty, referred me to Rose Gold, instead.With great apprehension, I called Rgold. A very informative man named Perry answered all my many, many questions, and convinced me to come to the shop just for an evaluation.Long story short...It was Perrys patience, kindness and extensive knowledge about skin piercing that convinced me to have my nose redone. Perry was great--quick, reassuring and painless!

Bought some beautiful piercing jewelry on-line as a custom order. They have a very nice selection of high-end jewelry I could not find locally. I got it a few weeks sooner than expected and its absolutely gorgeous. Surprisingly, shipping was on time even with COVID delays.

Ive had great advice and help on healing an existing piercing, and have been pierced at Rose Gold. Im so impressed with the knowledge of the staff, the selection of quality jewelry, and the insane patience of Christopher (the piercer). Chris was patient when I nearly fainted and has a gentle, steady hand. I drove an hour and 40 mins just to be pierced by him..and I would totally do it again.

Professional APP certified staff who are very patient and caring. Perry worked with me to make sure my needs with accommodated and that I was comfortable, and was patient as I recovered.

The shop is very beautiful very clean and the aesthetic is wonderful. The concept of high-end body jewelry is also a great idea for those that want to spend that kind of money on one piercing. However I had three removed here and I hate that I let her talk me into it.

Perry is the best piercer I’ve ever met. I’ve done multiple piercings with him, from a conch to a nostril piercing and they’ve all turned out wonderful. Listen to your piercer for after care, and be strict about it if you want it to turn out well.(Not all piercings in the photo are done here, but the conch, double upper lobes are.)

First off nothing but love for these people at Rose Golds. Not only have all the staff been informative and respectful, but they really care about you when you spend the time under the needle with them... whether its a tattoo or a piercing they spend the time getting to know you and listening. I got my cartilage pierced and it ended up being infected and end up going to the emergency room. Further later I did my research and found out. You don’t pierce with sterling silver and such a small earring like they used. My cartilages absorbed my piercing. I now did my cartilage piercing at another place with 12k gold and a bigger round earring and I can tell the difference and how better it heals. I don’t think they know what they are doing.

Amazing piercing and staff. Pricing not clear and pretty dang expensive. I got a simple silver ball and it was $100 and they didnt even tell me to check and see if I was okay paying that much for an earring. Yes, ONE earring was $100. Im impressed by everything and everyone there. The three stars is for pricing and confusion alone.

This is the only place I trust to get pierced in the city! Perry Doig has helped me so much through rough piercing times! Ive gotten pierced at other places that havent necessarily taken as much time & information as they should. The prices may be a bit high than what some people are used to but you get what you pay for!

Worse experience ever ! Got a tattoo there but isnt what I expected. The estimate was $2,500 but I had to spend $4000. I have a bird that needs to lose weight and black ink to laser away , thanks Ben Mathews !

The first thing I look for when traveling to Europe is a winery.Wow, it’s a flea market. In the United States, shopping malls and vintage shopslook for This is a hot street just to look at.It has a gypsy feel, with old items and vintage shops.There are places where it looks like it would have been worn in the American West in the 1960s.Clothes, accessories, LPs, pubs, etc. line the streets.Its filling up. One thing to note is to bargain well.Those who are sensitive or allergic to food and odors should use Vin Tea.It is best to avoid lichen shops. Clothes the same as beforeIm dizzy from the 20-30 year old smell from the store.I might cry^^

Warm welcome and lovely atmosphere! Been in and tattooed myself twice, received fast and good service and great results both times!! Fantastic service-minded staff who do everything to make the customer feel prioritized. Would really highly recommend this tattoo studio to anyone looking to get a new tattoo and is in the area! Will definitely go back next time Im in town and want to get a new tattoo! If you want to do something bigger, it is recommended that you book an appointment beforehand, and if you want to do something smaller, you can go in and see if they have time to do it the same day.
