I contacted the shop and Constantin was the artist who reached out. upon arrival he showed nothing but great attitude, positivity, and overall professionalism (including offering drinks and snacks!). On top of that, he was able to start early due to his organization, and completed my tattoo with swiftness, speed, and skill. Will be returning! Shop was clean, put together, and welcoming.

I’ve seen Constantin 3 times and I always have a good time with him! He does amazing work! I went in to get a cat portrait for 2 of my kitties and ended up walking out with them tattooed forever on my body! I came back to get the tail detailed and left with exactly what I wanted! Def recommend 100%

My experience from the moment I walked in was excellent. I walked in met with the girls up front and mentioned I was in town and had checked them out online and explained what I was looking for they brought out Jesse and I explained I wanted to start a sleeve and needed a dragon tattoo but had not done any research just yet, only knew that’s what I wanted. Jesse told me he had some ideas and would get something drawn up for me. We went over a few details including look, feel, size, and budget then I booked my appointment for the next day. When I came in the next day and saw what he had come up with I knew it was perfect! Getting the tattoo was almost painless not a heavy hand at all. The detailed lines and the colors used were on point! I’ll admit I was on the fence about the colors, but I had to trust the process as I didn’t see them come thru while it was being done cause I kept bleeding through the color lol, but super glad I did I love the end result. I am grateful to Jesse for how everything went during the tattooing and for the new tuneage. I will definitely be coming back to continue with the sleeve. I have gotten four tattoos by Kay so far! Honestly she is an amazing artist first of all! And she is so kind and makes the whole process enjoyable. Her tattoos are badass and I get so many compliments on the tattoos she has done on me. My first tattoo was a walk in and she was so amazing I have booked multiple tattoos with her after. Also my friends have gotten multiple tattoos from various different artists at this shop and it is such a positive welcoming environment. I recommend for anyone that is a newcomer to the tattoo community or an anyone who has tattoos looking for a shop in Austin to get more!!

Sarah was amazing she was so sweet and comforting the whole time getting my tattoo. I felt that if i had any issues while getting tattooed (not that i had any) i could communicate them and she’d be genuinely willing to help. She did an amazing job and they turned out so good. Jesse is amazing at what he does. My husband has 2 tattoos from him and they are amazing works of art. The colors he uses are so vibrant, his attention to detail is above and beyond. I had a tattoo I needed a little touch up on that he didn’t do and he touched it up way better than I could have even expected. He could see exactly what needed to be done the second he saw it. Jazz did a cover up for me on 10/18/23 , she not only did a wonderful job designing and customizing my tattoo to make it the color scheme and style I wanted. She also made me feel comfortable, had a very smooth pace / gave me breaks and was easy to talk to! I had been wanting to cover up this tattoo for a long time, and I was lucky enough to be able to get Jazz to do it for me! This is a meaningful tattoo for me , the perfect way to close a chapter of my past and open the door to my future . This is my second tattoo from Sarah and she is by far the best tattoo artist I have seen! I have quite a few tattoos and have seen a lot of other artists around my area, but she blows them out of the water with her attention to detail and her regard for comfortability. Everyone is very friendly here, makes me feel welcome. They offered food and drinks many times. Would highly recommend, they take the time to make sure it’s 100% what you want. You can adjust your art if you don’t like it as many times as needed before completing the final piece. Jose is great, ask for him if he’s available.

Sarah did an amazing job on my first tattoo! although it was simple, she did everything she could to be super accommodating and helped this be an amazing first experience! From walking me through every step to even asking for my pronouns, I could not recommend her more! Her art style and flash designs are super cute and creative, and the vibe of the place is generally very cool and inviting!

The interiors are so nice and aesthetic! They provide snacks/ soda cans if you’re waiting on an artist on waiting for your stencils. I went in with Rayvin today and she was amazing! I got a couple small pieces done and i couldn’t be more obsessed. I switched the placement on my tattoo a couple times so i can just thank her for being so patient with me. I’m also a talker, and she was talking to me the entire time. Would definitely come back with her. Thank you so much!

Loved this place! The building is clean and The staff is so welcoming. Kay is such a talented artist and she was so helpful and kind making the process go so smoothly. I decided to get my first tattoo ever and am so glad Constantine was the artist I used. During the entire process he answered all my questions, made me feel at ease and post tattoo, he continued to answer my questions however many I had. Kay has done 3 out of my 5 tattoos that I have, and I regret not having found her sooner and having her as my artist since the beginning! She is very accommodating and is always willing to work with you. Kay is a genuinely awesome tattoo artist, so much so that when I found out she moved from San Antonio to Austin, I took off from work so I could make the trip to get tattooed by her. And I plan to do this many more times until my sleeve is full. If youre looking for a kind, compassionate, professional, and badass black and grey tattoo artist that is budget-friendly, Kay is the one for you. She also does color and cover-ups from time to time, too! 5/5 stars and 10/10 recommend, she is definitely worth the trip and I cant wait for my next appointment with her

Was in the market for a new tattoo shop and came across this one on Google. My husband and I went for some walk-ins and had THE best experience! All of the artists were super friendly and courteous, and they made us feel welcome rather than like we were an inconvenience (unlike some other shops wed tried). Jasmine was so kind and professional to work with; she drew up our designs quickly and they came out sooo perfect, and at a very reasonable price! All of the artists have gorgeous portfolios and Im eager to get more work done by several of them; I already have an appointment with Kay for later this month! I could not speak more highly of this shop!

David was so awesome from our front desk check in experience to the time he tool to explain the process as well as our decision making for the perfect tribute tattoos to our late grandmother. My niece and I have been wanting these tattoos for years (we got Just keep living honey- a saying she always said) and finally made the leap to take advantage of the ladies day special. While it ended up costing more than was advertised, it was more than worth the cost because David made the bonding experience what we needed.This is my 2nd time at Ink Couture and my 7th tattoo and Ill be back for sure and definitely follow Davids journey wherever he goes. You can tell hes not only passionate but honest and professional about his work.

I had three tattoos done prior to a very important personal life event. Kay did all three, with two of them being fine line work. The two fine line pieces needed to have small brakes in the lines filled in and when I texted her, she immediately responded and we set a time to do the work. One of the tattoos was corrected and completed beautifully. While working on the other one, Kay said she was going to “work on the shading” and she ended up darkening the three interwoven crescent moons without my guidance and against our previous understanding of what this tattoo was about. They no longer look like moons. I texted her as soon as I uncovered it and saw what happened… she never contacted me again. I contacted the company and the owner apologized and set me up to have the moons lightened by another artist, using white dye. While the woman was working, I commented that I could barely feel the needle and her reply was she had a light hand. In the photo you can see there is hardly any white – only enough to make it impossible to use tattoo removal laser work to bring my moons back into focus. You’ll also notice that the black lines still are not well defined in the center where the moons overlap. I am highly dissatisfied and will not recommend. The reason I gave two stars was because the owner was responsive, and the other work was satisfactory.

Shane did my Medusa tattoo yesterday. Came in as a walk in, and he went straight to work on the draw out then took me back to get to work. Hes supper chill, nice to talk to and work with. Light handed and gentle working on the tattoos and put in a lot of effort and allowed plenty of breaks an check ins to how i was feeling. Awesome work second tattoo from this shop an Im loving it. Would recommend this shop an i will be back.

Absolutely love Ink Couture Tattoos! I first discovered them at one of their San Antonio locations and once I heard they were opening a store in Austin I was so excited. I was tattooed by Kay! She was so incredibly sweet, offering me a design unique for my collarbone structure, as I have a broad chest. UPDATE: The manager contacted me all the way from San Antonio and apologized for the whole situation. He was extremely polite and offered a partial refund which was extremely appreciated. I am glad that management really take the business seriously and feel more comfortable recommending them.So my artist charged me 800 dollars after starting an hour and a half late for two hours of work. It was not much larger than a playing card, the quality is fine but the rate is extremely unfair. I have a much larger sleeve that cost total 800 dollars. At no point before hand did he tell me he charged by half day or full day only. His excuse was that I tattoo too quick so I wont make money. Very unprofessional, extremely poor service, and overcharged. Heavily do not recommend. I paid the amount agreed to and would not return.

I owe my life to kay for the tattoo she gracefully put on me. going to another artist would be stupid bc she’s the only person in the world that matters for tattooing. you will not regret getting inked by her, worth every single penny and every single second. if my body didn’t need to heal, i would book her for a month straight and be head to toe inked. thank you for improving my life in every way possible. also nice interior 👍

Kay is an absolute QUEEN!! She is so amazing and her work is absolutely stunning! I moved to Austin recently and was looking for a new artist. For the entire community, I went to this place with my girlfriend to get a tattoo. I had already set a price when they finished the tattoo, which was 400 dollars each. They told me that I have to pay 400 dollars more. I asked why and they told me that it was a mistake. Price. I asked to speak to the manager and they told me that I only have to pay and nothing else, because my tattoo was already done. I paid 1200 dollars for 2 half-inch totoos. We cannot allow this type of place to steal our money, I have been tattooed in other places and something like this had never happened, I felt cheated and humiliated.

I had my first appointment with Constantin (@graywolfink) today, absolutely wonderful experience! He was a perfectionist with the stencil, which I really appreciate, and he worked very quickly and efficiently. I got a flash piece of his and the line work is SO clean and sharp. Incredibly affordable rates as well. Already planning my next tattoo with him!

Stopped in for a matching couples tattoo, something unique that we thought up and had been wanting for years. I havent had a tattoo in 20 years and I was a bit nervous about the experience as a whole but we got paired up with Constantine @graywolfink and thank goodness we did, he was fantastic! He gave us exactly what we were looking for and made it special. He was super chill and funny, but most of all his work was 🔥, his lines are super crispy. Already thinking about what Im wanting next.

I honestly wish there was a way to make this review more impactful. The shop is clean and welcoming, all the artists are polite and make you feel comfortable there, even if they are not tattooing you. This is my second tattoo here at the Austin location, and wont be my last. From the consultation to the booking to the tattoo itself it is very straightforward, no surprises left unseen at the end or with pricing. I must give credit to where it is due, my artist Pepe is absolutely amazing, he has a beautiful ability to visualize and implement your ideas into an amazing unique tattoo. He is kind, welcoming, and warm... despite his photo on the website where he tried to look super serious. His work is serious and so is his work ethic, and thats an understatement. You could only be so lucky to get tattoos by such a talented person in your life, so you should do so while youre lucky enough to have the opportunity. Thanks first and foremost to Pepe, as well as anyone I interacted with during my visits.

Every artist at Ink Couture is absolutely wonderful, professional and passionate. Tori is my artist and when I say this gal is amazing she’s AMAZING! I came in with a complicated cover up and she was able to completely make it disappear with a beautiful floral piece. Pepe helped me at the front desk and was quite lovely and informative as well! All around this studio creates a safe and comfortable, yet exciting environment. From the private tattoo rooms to the kindness of the artist this has been by far the best studio I’ve been tattooed in!

Went to Ink Couture spontaneously on July 29th and it was a great experience! The shop was super clean, the chairs comfortable, and the ambiance was relaxing.I walked in and spoke to a man at the desk to confirm wait time and what the shop minimum was ($100 when I went).Jazz is the artist who did my tattoo - she was very receptive and excited about the tattoo that my friend and I came up with together. We discussed what my price range was and she did an amazing outline of my tattoo (even being ok to discuss changes to it before the stencil was made, which being open and ok with change doesnt always happen) and then made sure that the detailing after was exactly what I wanted. Her shading is beautiful and Im so happy I went!

My siblings & I got a very small dimple matching Roman numeral 3 tattoos on our wrists and they’re so bad, they legit look ghetto. They are all crooked and the lines are not straight or even at all. Very disappointed with a shop that is rated so highly. I don’t remember the artists name but it was the first room on the left at the 183 location.EDIT: right after posting this review the owner called me and we spoke for like 15min. He was super nice and totally understanding that if you get a tattoo (especially a sentimental one) you want it to be perfect. He connected us with his daughter Kay who works in the austin location. Her and I texted quite a bit and she was super detailed in how she could fix the tattoos. We came in today and she spent between 30-60 min on each of our 3 tattoos discussing how to fix them and making sure that all of the lines are perfect and symmetrical. She did an AMAZING job!We are so thankful for the kindness and diligence of the owners to ensure that we left their shop with tattoos that we love. Highly recommended going to Kay, especially with for fine line tattoos! She also plays great music lol

My friend and I walked in and both love our tattoos! Bryan and Jesse are great! I told Jesse I wanted him to have free reign adding to my pre-existing tattoo. His design was beautiful and his execution, flawless! This is a small thing but it shows he cares about the client’s experience — he used very soft paper towels so it doesn’t feel like your skin is being scrapped off with every swipe. I truly appreciate this as I’ve considered bringing my own paper towels to an appointment before. The entire staff was nice and the shop’s vibes were *chef’s kiss*. I’d 100% go back!

After searching for and meeting with a couple other artists, I saw Justins (in Austin) portfolio and was impressed. He tattooed me a couple weeks ago. I am so incredibly happy to have went with him for a portrait of my dog with some simple background. I still look at it several times a day and am beyond happy to have a beautiful and accurate memento of her forever at just a glance away.
