Definitely my new shop! I just moved to the area and was looking for a new shop, a friend recommended this one and after checking it out I scheduled! Victoria De Leon did an amazing job with a hard location to tattoo! The energy/vibes and artists here from what I was able to conclude are amazing. Like I said, definitely my new shop! P.S. they have really cool floors, lol. Can’t wait for my next!!! 💓💃🏼

Im 40 years old and was ready for my next tattoo after waiting 20 years since my last two (first at 18, second at 20). I made an appointment with Tita and she was very communicative. I thought her prices were reasonable. She was very calm and quiet which I appreciated because I wanted to meditate during my tattoo. She also did the tattoo pretty quickly. It didnt seem to be as painful as my first two tattoos were 20 years ago.The studio was very clean (smelled clean too) and I loved the glittery floor. Tita was ready for me even though I showed up 10 minutes early to my appointment. She tattooed some very personal and meaningful hand-written Zen calligraphy on my forearm and Im thrilled with how she captured the details in the brush strokes and the inconsistencies of the ink due to the paintbrush. Its almost as if the calligraphy was brushed onto my arm. I love it! Thanks Tita!

Amazing artists that care about their craft. Shop is top notch! Clean and well kept. Kudos to Damian to do the tattoo I wanted and he was proud to do.

My personal experience was very terrible. Within having almost half my body tattooed by different local artists, this was the worst experience overall. My artist provided very poor service: impatient, rushed from beginning to end and very unfriendly, not to mention the artwork on just a very minor and quick tattoo is very patched and inconsistent with little to no ink in certain areas.

Casey was the best! He was such a fun artist to work with, he made sure I was comfortable and got exactly what I wanted. I love my tattoo!(Original artwork by @hunnypaints)

Lucky Mac is working on my new huge koi tattoo. He is the best at koi and dragons in Austin! I still have a ways to go before it’s done but very impressed so far with his design and placement.

I went with a friend to get my first tattoo, the experience was great! We had Casey, and he made the session very fun and relaxed. I appreciated his attention to detail and making sure I got exactly what I wanted. Will definitely be back for my next ones!

Best team of tattoo artists and people I’ve met in 20+ years of getting tattooed. Kyle is such an incredibly genuine, nice, and thoughtful owner/tattoo artist. I got to hear him tattoo 2 days in a row and he was so kind and personable with his clients. Bishop is an incredible artist and beyond friendly tattoo artist. Casey might be the most positive tattoo artist on planet Earth. Everyone I met was a bar-raising personality.I was tattooed by their guest artist Alan (Kraken) from San Miguel, Mexico - who I’d easily consider a friend at this point. His work is incredible, his professionalism is so high but subtle - leaving you with a great experience and high quality work. Everyone kept coming over to compliment his work.I will absolutely go there for work in the future, and can only encourage you to do the same.

Love this shop! This is my first big piece so I was a little nervous, but Luisa made me feel very comfortable. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Already booked another appointment. Prices are reasonable and it’s very clean. Deff recommend!

Me and my friend had ours done by Casey. He was so nice and made 100% sure we were happy with the placement and size and didn’t rush us at all. We love how they turned out! Nicest guy ever will definitely be back.

Got a tattoo from Bishop who is an apprentice here and he absolutely killed it. I felt comfortable through all of it, everything was cleaned well and sterile and the lines were perfect. I showed him a picture of what I wanted, which was a picture my grandpa drew of Zazu from lion king and he traced it exactly and caught every little detail. The price is amazing, don’t let the apprentice word scare you this dude is badass and does a great job! I highly recommend him.

Worked with Casey as my artist, incredibly thoughtful and considerate when tattooing. He made the process as painless as possible, he worked with me to figure out the tattoo I wanted and did exactly that. The place was clean, bright, cozy, and they even lit incense to set the vibe.

They were very friendly and seemed like great ppl. However, I have never been more disappointed w a tattoo unfortunately. First of all the $150minimum is crazy. For that price they did let me get two small tattoos tho so I’ll give them that! But when I ask for a simple OUTLINE of a heart and he continues to color it in… idk how more specific I could’ve been. I also received the worlds most crooked tattoo on my lower back that is verrrry noticeable :/// again, GREAT ppl but I’m still so disappointed and sad that now I’m embarrassed to show off TWO SIMPLE tattoos that could’ve been great. :( 2 stars just bc they were nice and gave me a deal

First off, Kyle the owner seemed very professional & talented as I watched him work on a client and then deal with a customer complaint with calm- thank you. Secondly, my artist Victoria did a tiny piece on my forearm that probaly any 10 year old could have done in the time it took for a tenth of the price...welcome to Austin, I guess. I have a number of art pieces on my body from reputable artist in the Oakland Bay Area & have never seen nor heard of such prices. It took her about 40 minute & I paid $250.Very unhappy.

Got a sick tattoo from Casey for my 25th birthday 5 months ago! Still looking good and always getting compliments. Casey took his time and spent 30 min drawing it out and we repositioned the first draft 6 times to make sure I was truly in love with it. I appreciate him taking his time and I couldn’t have asked for it to come out better!

Came in and got work done by Victoria. She was awesome to work with and did an amazing job on my leg piece. Great energy in the shop in general and I’m super pumped to get my next piece booked with Tori. Will be recommending her to anyone I know looking for a tattoo!

After years of really wanting a tattoo but not knowing where to begin, I got a recommendation from an already-inked family member to speak to Kevin, whose work she was quite happy with. I joined her towards the end of her marathon appointment with Kevin, and got to talk to him for a while. He was pleasant, informative, and helpful, even going so far as to discuss the ingredients in the ink he uses because I was concerned about reactions with my ridiculously sensitive skin. I booked an appointment with him on the website soon after, though he was booked months in advance. Poor Kevin had to deal with me calling the studio half a zillion times with my newb questions in those few months, but remained gracious and patient each time. Appointment day finally rolls around, I see the artwork on paper, and Im instantly in love with it. A few small tweaks, and its perfect. I discussed my strategies for not freaking out about needles with Kevin before we started (I dont look, you dont warn me, and please make conversation) and he was happy to oblige those requests. It went beautifully! I have since gone back for my second tattoo, and Im planning the next 37. 🤣 Thanks, Kevin!

Went here with my daughter and her boyfriend. prices were awesome and the artist did a good job. good atmosphere. gave 4 stars only because they had to make an appointment and we still waited over an hour

Kyle is an extremely talented artist and a super vool guy to hang with. Which helps when your sitting for a long tattoo. Looking forward to finishing my piece in February.

Loved it! I was a walk-in at 4:45 and the gentleman that were busy inking away were very welcoming. Zack came in with a smile and a great deal of knowledge about tattoos. He made me (and my unmarked husband) feel very comfortable and gave me the heads up on price, aftercare, and possible outcomes for my tattoo in later years.I had him do a simple little peace sign on my pointer finger, I was in and out with exactly what I wanted. We will be going back for our larger pieces this winter, their business is great!Affordable, clean, and welcoming! ( Price I paid was their finger minimum: $100)

Kyle gave me such an AWESOME first time experience. This was my first tattoo ever and I was really nervous but everyone was so cool that by the time we started, I wasnt nervous at all anymore. Kyle made sure to check up on me and see if I was doing okay, even offered us and another pair there some pizza mid way through our session. My tattoo came out so awesome and honestly just highly recommend this place.

I have been getting tattooed for a very long time, all around the world and this little shop in north Austin can and will compete with the best of them. The shop is under construction but I was told about the plans and they are BAD A$$.They vibe is great. No more scary tattoo shop vibe like most of us remember from back in the day. I was there for about 4.5 hours and enjoyed every minute of it. The quality of the service and product is a 10. I know its a 10 because I have gotten a 2 and 4 at other places. If you are looking for a top class experience and product you would be a fool not to start here. the service is not cheap, but than again good tattoos arent cheap and cheap tattoos arent good. #eatmammothcreameries

Atmosphere is upbeat and chill. Josiah is my artist and has done a fantastic job! He is doing a leg sleeve and has completed two good sized tats so far. This guy is young, professional and loves what he does. He is great and will only get better. Very detailed and it shows ! Extremely pleased with his work thus far and cant wait to see how this entire process will look when completed!

Kyle Giffen is an excellent tattoo artist. Kyle has done a full sleeve for me and I couldnt be happier with how it turned out. He gave his professional input on the design and made it one of a kind. Also, his line work is exceptional. Ive seen work done from other artists at Little Pricks and can attest that they are all great artists.

Unprofessional. Sent in 2 fonts I wanted to see sketched out 5 days before my appointment. Received no communications after my deposit 9 days ago. They never answer the phone and say to not leave messages. Zach didnt answer emails. Very poor experience trying to get a first tattoo. Would not recommend to anyone. Goodbye deposit.

Maggie was awesome! She did a back tattoo for me, integrating it with an older one I already have. She did a great job with the design and with how it turned out. Back tattoos are painful but she made the process be super comfortable. Definitely coming back for my next one!

My sister and I got out first tattoo here. We were excited to get matching butterfly tattoos.Zach seemed rushed and performed inadequate work. Our simple and small butterfly tattoo was totally unsatisfactory. He even said the tattoo lines would travel and close when I pointed out there were lines that were open. James at 10-32 Tattoo fixed it and gave us the tattoo we dreamed of and expected.

Currently going through construction so the shop can be a bit crowded if they get busy but the staff is very friendly and have a wide range of talent. Only weird part was that if you pay with a card, the payment system asks for the tip up front. You can decline this and tip cash at the end. Its just strange that youre put in that position before you ever get your tattoo.

Tom Cueller did my tattoo, he did a great job. Communicated well about the tattoo before he started working. Im so happy with his work. Didnt hurt, is healing great. I am just so pleased. I will go to him for my next one.

I love the vibe of this shop. So many talented and welcoming artists.Josiah is my guy though. I have worked with him for 8 tattoos. Hes done a wonderful job of understanding what I want and his advice has been crucial. Hes truely passionate about his craft and it shows.

The tatoo shop is very clean and hygienic. I got a small wrist tatoo done by Zach Gonzalez and he did a fantastic job. He was very professional and my design came out really well. I would recommend the good work done by Zach and I am very satisfied by my tattoo.

Went in with my gf to see if she could get a photo of the dogs paw inked on her wrist and a little something for me as well while visiting Austin from Fort Worth.Maggie was our artist and she was amazeballs. Mine was simple black lines, but the shading on my girlfriend is incredible. Prices were right, shop is clean and professional and we couldnt be happier.Well be back next time were in town.

The place is nice, employees are nice but one artist ruined my experience. Didnt get any work done, mainly because of that.Not fair to rate the place because of one person.Place gets 3 stars, person gets zero stars.

I booked in with Kevin to get a simple tattoo, with a consult a month in advance. I paid a $103 deposit, knowing that it would go toward my tattoo. Two weeks prior to my appointment, I changed my mind on what I wanted done. After calling multiple times, and leaving two messages with other staff members, I had to reach out to him via Instagram to communicate the change in design. He answered my DM prompty, and had the print out of the plug-and-play kind of tattoo I was requesting. He said he couldnt make it smaller, though the tattoo that I sent him for reference was half the size of what he said was possible. I decided to move forward (in hind-sight I probably should have thought on it longer) and an hour later, I had it on my body. It is beautiful, so thats good. He didnt care to make much conversation past his own agenda. At the end he asked for another $103, to which I said Oh, I already paid the deposit -knowing full-well that the tattoo cost max $150. Really, I could have had it done for the $100. I paid because I couldnt exactly protest the payment request, but I left feeling gypped and unhappy with the experience behind something that is permanently on my body. I did not tip, because I feel like I got gouged. The shop is nice pleasant, but my experience was far from because I felt there was dishonesty behind his pricing and I did not feel taken care of.

Great Studio with artists spanning all styles. i have done a geometric leg sleeve from Kyle, whole leg. working on chest. This is the shop in North Austin to get what you want. Check out everyone, the whole shop is extremely talented.

The shop was clean and customer service was standard. I gave a two star rating because I didn’t get the results I was looking for. I had my sons name tattooed on my bicep. The ink in the tattoo spread/bled, so the lines didn’t turn out as crisp as I would’ve hoped. It is also a lot bolder/darker than I want. I really want to love my newest tattoo, but I don’t. I can live with it.

I visited this shop this year, after being given a business card at my job. I called ahead of time and they said sure, we have no appointments, come on in for a consult.I show up. Sit for 45 minutes. Nobody greets me. Finally someone asks me to schedule a consult in another week. I told them hey its not a big tattoo, just script. They wrote down what I wanted, asked the size. I was quoted $250 for 2 hours. $100 down right now. So I paid the $103 (service fee included).I come back in for my appointment with Travis, hes got a couple choices for my script work. Seemed really irritated that I added a few more words. Wanted to add a heart, purple on the inside, black on the outside.My tattoo took 45 minutes, including the consult. I paid $350 for two hours. He never asked me about my tattoo, never talked at all really. Told me when he was done.Didnt try and sell me an aftercare kit. He treated me like Id done this 10 times before. I havent gotten a tattoo in a decade- this was very important to me.My lines are good. Its dark. Didnt get infected or anything. No fading. 6 months in, it looks great. But I cant help but think about how I couldve gotten more bang for my buck almost anywhere else.Travis does good script work. He just doesnt invest himself in your art at all if it doesnt seem important.By the way, Travis, thank you for the memorial on my shoulder for my child that died.You pay for the tattoo and the tip UP FRONT. Not after. If I could take back the tip, I would. Im still bothered by the entire staff lack of enthusiam.Edit: I never would have left this review if you didnt send me an email 8 months after my tattoo asking me how I felt about it. Too little, too late.

Kevin did my first tattoo. I was nervous about it but really wanted one. ( I know...big baby) Kevin made me feel completely relaxed and talked to me to keep my mind busy. I will definitely return if I ever decide to get another. I hear you always want more... I dont know.

Excellent custom work at a great price- was fast and efficient. Extremely clean studio (which is very much appreciated) and minimal fuss. Best review to give is to say I had $900 worth of extensive custom work performed and am returning for more next month.

Tita was very professional and did a great job on my phoenix tattoo, tweaking the design to just what I wanted. The shop is clean and organized and they atmosphere was perfect.

I have some existing tattoos that I wanted to bring together. Chris Hedlund was able to create a masterpiece. I have been to numerous tattoo shops and Chris was the first to be able to help. Tita tattooed a maple leaf for me and it is literally perfect. The detail is so great that it almost looks real on my arm. Im so pleased, what a great first tattoo to get in Austin! Will definitely be back for another. If you want quality, this is the place to go!

Definitely go to KEVIN! he did matching tattoos for me and my bestie. He was sweet, he was funny, and most importantly he had a light hand and a great artistic sense. It was only my second tattoo he made it effortless. I’ll def be back.

Well honestly, the tattoo is a 4/5 stars. It could have been cheaper imo. I got a feather that covers about half my forearm on the inside of my arm. It’s not very big, but I was charged $200 and then asked to tip BEFORE my tattoo.Only three stars because the art has lasted 5 years without a touch up, but the price and handling was awkward.

Ive gotten 3 tattoos from Tita so far, including my very first one. Shes super helpful and so freaking talented. Shop is clean and everyone is very respectful. I cant recommend this place enough.

I should have paid more attention to the reviews about the horrible customer service and being overpriced. Hindsight is 20/20. I first met with owner/artist Kyle on 7/11 about the custom forearm sleeve I wanted. He quoted me $900 for 2 sessions. The first session was for the lines and the second for shading. Even though he was the second most expensive of the artists I had consulted with, I knew the inflated prices had to do with what he perceived as fame from his couple of magazine features.... plus I wanted to support a minority small business. I proceeded to book the appointment even though he couldnt start until 8/26. He requested my design ideas via email so he could have the sketch ready for approval when I arrived for my appointment. Despite the severe weather caused by hurricane Harvey, I make it to the appointment. The first thing he says is I thought you werent scheduled until later.. Then he tells me he has to draw up my tattoo. He was so unprepared. He even asks for my information again so he could search for everything I had sent via email. Since the weather was so bad, I decided that I would wait. After 2 hrs he comes back with only 1/4 of what we had discussed. He said we would line that portion and line the rest during the second session. He went on to say that there would be a third session for shading. Having waited so long, I just wanted to get it started. The second session was scheduled for 9/12. I arrive for my appointment only to realize that he had sent a text 30 minutes prior cancelling the appointment. I live out of town plus I work nights. So I got up in the middle of the day and drove to the shop for nothing. Anyone living in the state of Texas knows the law as far as driving and cell phones.... especially in Austin. So to this day I am unclear on how he expected my phone to be riding shotgun so that I could receive his last minute cancellation. I emailed him and replied to his text. He never responded to either. I called 3 days later since it was clear that he had no intentions of rescheduling. His only excuse was that 9/15 was his first day back and he had only been in the shop for 4 hrs and hadnt done call backs. Even though I got hustled for $550 for an outline of 1/4 of the tattoo, I cannot support such egregious behavior. Dont pay attention to the friends he gets to write reviews. Pay attention to actual customers. There is a reason why the shop was empty every single time I went. You have been warned.

Ive known Kyle for going on 12 years now, Ive been his canvas for 7. Hes the only artist I let draw on me, but I know his judgement and he only chooses the best to back him. If you dont already know who he is from his great performance on best ink, then you need to know who he is by his great performance on you. Come on down to the shop, get pricked, and love your ink for the rest of your life

It’s very clean and professional. Me and 2 other guest got front row seats watching a tattoo be done, it was awesome. Great photo books in the entrance to see what the different artists have to offer. Not too expensive either.

About a month ago Travis did my very first tattoo and it turned out great, went in a few days ago to get my second one from him and again it looks awesome! Definitely worth the price for all the detail and attention the arists at this shop give the customers.

This is my first experience in a tattoo shop—and getting a tattoo!—and I have to say that Im so glad I went here. I heard Kyle Griffen’s name from a co-worker and looking at his work online I decided to go in and meet him. Im the kind of personality that even if I know something, if apprehensive or otherwise new to something, I like for someone to explain things to me. Not so much for my knowledge as Ive more than likely done days of research prior to attempting or in this case going into Little Pricks Tattoo, but because it will give me a sense of someone caring enough to do it. If you dont care enough to talk to me, or if I get the sense that you having to interact with me is a bother to you, that will more than likely be the end of that road for me.Kyle not only took time to connect with me, answer my questions and even go so far as to probe and find out the real questions I had about the whole process—I apologized a few times for asking real basic questions as this was my first tattoo—of getting a tattoo and what happens afterwards care wise; he did it with genuine passion and a welcoming vibe.If youre wanting to get a tattoo and are in the Greater Austin area, Little Pricks Tattoo needs to be on your visit list.

Little Pricks is by far one of the best tattoo shops in Austin, TX. Kyle Giffen and Matt Cesario are two incredible artists who know their craft backwards and forwards and provide nothing short of stellar work. These guys also know how to treat a customer right, no drama, no rock-star mentalities... They are laid-back, friendly, and genuinely happy to see you while being professional and focused on customer safety and satisfaction.As a tattoo artist, when I want ink, this is one of the few places I will go.

The cleanest tattoo shop I have ever been to! Tita is awesome, a wonderful business owner, she has a great personality and is a very talented artist!

Poor service they had me wait half hour just too tell me that they are booked when they were all outside just talking. Wasted my time. They felt intimidated when I started asking questions about their experience. Because I have full sleeves they knew they like couldnt treat me like a newbie n charge me allot.

I must have been the unkucky one. Got a custom tattoo, poor line work. Artist decided to freehand instead of take a printed outline, result was uneven and wavy lines. Really bummed and disappointed. Not sure where to go from here...

My tattoo turned out kind of like what I asked for. The girl was rude. And it cost 80$ for a tattoo smaller than a dime.#skipit
