Jacob Todd completed my back piece that was started in OK. It was just the outline of the moon phases when he got it, he added the detail and shading. He did an incredible job. He was very gentle and professional. The pain was a 3/10 when I knew it couldve been a 10/10 easily. Thank you so much Jacob, I love my tattoo. Highly recommend, couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Oh my god!! If you are looking for a tattoo in Austin, TX, RUN (dont walk) to SACRAMENT TATTOO!!! I had the pleasure of being tattooed by Dalton Webster! He was extremely kind and knew exactly what I was looking for. He looked at my inspiration, asked lots of questions, and drew up his own beautiful idea for me! I fell in love as soon as I saw the drawing and got it tattooed immediately. Not only was he quick and efficient with the tattooing, he was also extremely attentive and communicative. We chatted on and on about music, Austin, tattoos, and more. He was nice to check in on how I was doing as he worked. It took just over an hour and a half to get my inner forearm done! The snake is beautiful and simple and the fine lines he did were perfect. Go and ask for Dalton!! The entire shop was awesome and another artist named Chris chatted up my family and I for the duration of the appointment. He and Dalton were awesome!! I will be coming back for all my tattoos!! If I could give this place and these artists 100 stars, I would in a heartbeat!

I popped in and was able to get an appointment with only a short wait. I chatted with the office staff (I didnt get her name, ahhh) while I waited and she was so friendly and kind. Barry worked with me on a tattoo Ive wanted for years to make sure it turned out exactly how I wanted it. He was super friendly, it was a wonderful experience. I am so beyond thrilled with my tattoo. I am from Chicago and would make the drive to Austin to get more work done from Barry, such is my satisfaction. A+

This tattoo shop is legit. Barry took great care of me and made sure every detail was spot on before he got to work. Solid, clean lines and killer craftsmanship. If you want a badass tattoo on 6th, this is the place to go.

Very unprofessional. A group of about 5 girls walked in before my mom and I did, and were all getting matching tattoos. They didn’t greet us or even acknowledge us, but we realized they were a little busy and waited. After the artist told them to come back in a little while and they’d have everything drawn up for them, he walked into the back with another artist and never came back out. We sat in the lobby for over 20 minutes before we realized they weren’t even going to give us the time of day. The minute we got up to walk out they yelled out “see ya later”. Judging by their lack of professionalism alone, I wouldn’t recommend giving a dime to this business. All Saints Tattoo (directly across the street) had better customer service, and my mother only wanted to have a consultation for a future tattoo.

Chris was awesome and completed 3 sister tattoos to signify our bond! Small but placed in a delicate area, he took his time explaining the process to my sister as it is her first(not last) tatt. I met Chris while in jury duty and we set up an appt within the next week. Chris had my design ready in less than an hour and we were done by the 3hr mark of when I walked into the shop. Super professional and efficient. Tattoo wise its healed perfectly, you could barely feel it (abdomen) and Im very happy with it. Orale.

Ive gotten many tattoos by Jacob Todd when he was at a shop in Houston. He does such a great job that I followed him all the way to Austin.He also has great energy and when youre sitting with someone for hours it helps so much if theyre easy to talk to and genuine. I will be coming back to this shop to see him.

JT (@deathsouvenir) is an incredible tattoo artist. My youngest brother recently passed away and JT was his guy for tattoos. I knew that this was the place I was going and JT quickly responded with kindness and created such beautiful art in honor of my brother. I felt so comfortable there and seen. Ive gotten tattoos from multiple artists but have never had someone do more work on me than JT. He has been working on my whole sleeve and as an artist I need someone I can trust. JT delivers every time. Literally cannot recommend enough

I got my first tattoo ever here as a walk-in, and I regret getting it. The color was very blotchy when I first got it, and the artist forgot to add the depth detail (where it was supposed to be shiny). I asked for a touch-up. The artist was very receptive and understanding -- he offered to do it for free. After the second session, my tattoo is still blotchy and uneven. In addition, I now have unwanted tattoo scars that probably wont go away. The artist was super cool and personable; But I had to drive 4 hours from a different city for a touch-up and still have an underwhelming tattoo and tattoo scars.I will be scheduling a rework with another artist somewhere in a few months, but she advised that the scar probably will be there for a long time.

I stopped in one night last September around 2:00 am. They were about to close up but I knew if I didnt get it right then, I most likely wouldnt. I showed them what I wanted and I got a simple 2 word tattoo.Superior DaveMy nickname.I was a bit lit and cant remember the dudes name, but he was cool and did an excellent job.

I came here spontaneously and left very happy! The process was so swift and easy and they got the work done in no time! Ask for Dalton, he’s a true artist!

Paris did my brow microblading and was amazing! I was only her 2nd client and she was so calm and professional through the process. She’s a natural who will only continue to perfect her craft.She worked with me to find the perfect shade, explained the entire process before starting, and let me know what to expect before starting each step. She used a numbing cream to help with the pain and used more/left it on a little longer when I was still in pain. She was very patient and made sure I was comfortable through both sessions.The process was very quick and the results are AMAZING!!!!! I never have to touch my brows and I have that nice made up look even with no make up. As Queen Bey said “I woke up like this!” I highly recommend getting your brows microbladed by Paris. You won’t regret it!She is also branching out to other cosmetic tattooing types and I can’t wait to schedule with her again when she opens her books for them!

First off, to be honest, the staff is decent, the shop is clean and the work, for what I had, was good. However, the problem is that me and my wife were on our honeymoon and decided randomly to get matching tattoos. We chose a simple design that represented both of us. The art was preschool in a sense, but was good enough for us both, being that this was my wifes first tattoo. The design was not 2 inches tall and not an inch wide. One of the guys told us that the price would between $150-200. We were then told that the artist would look at the design to see if it needed to be altered in anyway, it was not. When the artists came out they split my wife and I up between 2 artists and did our tattoos. After they were finished with our tattoos the man who tattooed me told me the price was $200 and I paid him, he then asked me how was my wife paying, and I was shocked that they pulled the split act and charged my wife and I $200 each for a tattoo that was no bigger than an adult males thumb. No where did they disclose that the price was $200 each, however, I guess thats our fault right? $400 for 2 tattoos no larger than a grown mans thumb. They ripped us off, but I really tried not to let it spoil our time. Moral of this story is be careful dealing with these guys. I have a genuine idea as to why that happened, but it is what it is. Be careful yall.

Went to Bobby for 2 tattoos one of revolver and other gave him freedom of doing what ever he wanted. He drew up Japanese style dragon tattoo and when it came down to tattooing he rocked the hell out of it. Didn’t just do it and on to the next, he spent his time and seemed like he put in his heart into it. Recommended Bobby to a bud of mine and he rocked the hell out of that one to! 10/10 will be coming back for more

Was visiting from out of town and got my first tattoo here as a walk-in. I was charged $125 for a small sun and moon tattoo on my wrist. Extremely pricey but my boyfriend and I didn’t want to miss the opportunity at the time and everyone seemed welcoming. I normally don’t leave bad reviews and I thought it would kinda grow on me, but it was so poorly done (both the line work and shading) that it’s made me reluctant to get any more tattoos and I can’t stop noticing it :/

Three friends and I stopped in here today on a whim. We met Chris, Elmo and Grayson and they were amazing. Chris really paid attention to detail and cares about the artistic components. Very experienced and hygienic. Thank you for the tattoos and entertainment!

Went in on a Tuesday night. The lady at the front counter, I didnt catch her name she was AMAZINGLY NICE, made you feel welcomed. Picked a tattoo and Barry was the one that tatted on me, very fast and did a GREAT job on my tattoo. Would highly recommend this tattoo shop.

I got tattooed by both Bobby and JT, and they were both amazing. I walked in and got a simple linework tattoo from Bobby. While I was waiting, I was looking at all the artists’ work, and while they all have amazing talent - I am a bug girl at heart. JT had this beetle holding an 8 ball that says “no” drawn up, and I needed that little dude permanently on my arm. I ended up going back the next day after Bobby tattooed me for the beetle by JT. Highly recommend both of them and this shop. I’ll be back next time I’m in town, for sure. Everyone was friendly and it was very clean!

After 30 years got my second tattoo at Sacrament Tattoo the guys were awesome so patient and did an amazing job I love my new tattoo in memory of my best friend.

Im actually really disappointed by the quality of what I got from this place. I walked in to get a piece over some scar tissue to mark my survival of my 4th sexual assault. We talked about prices and I worked my budget to fit their prices (I REFUSE to haggle with anyone providing a skill!). Eventually settled on a size/style/color that worked for what I could afford. They made a stencil and tattooed that. I wasnt expecting the tattoo to be perfect due to the scar tissue in the area, but I paid $120 before tip for a tattoo that my parents and friends thought was a home job due to the just lack of care in the linework. I selected this place because their work looked high quality and all the reviews I saw were really positive. This tattoo was supposed to represent a lot of strength and struggle for me as a repeated sexual assault survivor, but its so off that I find myself not wanting to really show it. In the two pictures below, Ive circled the most obvious mistakes in the tattoo. Again, I expected SOME distortion because its over scars. However, scars dont account for the obvious points of low quality in the pictures.

The shop was very nice and Barry, my artist, was very cool and professional.I loved that they are open super late, and they were patient with me while I worked out exactly what I wanted. The end result was great and I’m very happy with my new tattoo!

I loved my experience at Sacrament Tattoo! Its a really beautiful shop and the artist I worked with, Chris Cook, was super talented and very helpful. He talked through placement, size and design in a lot of detail, so I felt confident the tattoo was going to be exactly what I wanted before he started using ink. The lines are perfectly straight and the stippling is lovely as well. I am so excited about my tattoo and its healing really nicely. I would 100% recommend this shop to anyone.

Came in with 2 friends to get flash tattoos, they have a $100/$120 minimum. Prices seem really steep for the simple work 2 of us had done. The artist, Dalton, was very friendly. There were about a dozen flies buzzing around the front window. Not sure why. Didnt smell bad or anything. We started at All Saints across the street. They offered slightly better quotes. Especially for color work. But we settled on sacrament. The Artist and receptionist, Liz, deserve a 4/5 star, but my overall experience couldve been better. 3rd bigger design turned out nice. Just wasnt expecting to pay almost 120 a piece for the smaller symbols.

There is a reason we flew from Alabama to come here; beautiful facility, friendly/welcoming staff, and of course, killer tattoos. Chris was wonderful and always made sure I was comfortable and did a wonderful job for me. I cant wait for our next trip out here.

Hunter did this lower leg tattoo for me a few weeks ago. This picture is right after it was finished, so it was still a bit red, but its all healed up now and still looks great! The shop itself is very clean and COVID protocol was followed, which I appreciated a ton. I came in as a walk-in and was able to get in and out of there pretty quickly, especially considering I didnt have a finished design ready. Autumn at the front desk and Hunter were able to help me and ensure we got the design exactly how I wanted, and it looks AMAZING!! Everyone was very friendly and efficient. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. 10/10

I’ve been tattooed multiple times here, and can say with confidence that it’s the best tattoo shop in Austin. Most of my tattoos have been from Chris Drts, @chrisdrtstattoo, but I’ve also gotten work done by Pablo, Elmo, Barry, and Jacob and everyone has been wonderful as well. Very professional, talented, and dedicated to making sure you walk out with a tattoo that you love and that will age well. I’ve brought multiple friends here, and they all love it too. Can’t recommend them enough, and can’t wait to go back for my next tattoo!

Their website mentions it being a welcoming environment. It was very unwelcoming. I was charged 200 for a simple text line tattoo that was maybe 2 inches long, finished in 10 minutes. Just seemed like we were a burden. I was looking for a new regular artist after our regular guy moved away but I guess 6th street might not be where I need to look.

I had an amazing experience working with Elmo, not only was he professional, but a great artist and nice person.He truly brought my vision to life (from a very rough image) and made the whole process relaxing and inviting. From calling the shop to ask questions, to walking out after my appointment- everyone involved made the process the best Ive had yet. My best friend and I went in for our best friend tattoos. We checked the reviews prior and thought it was a good spot to go. Jacob did mine. He was very professional and kind. The tattoo came out great and I’m very happy with it! My friend received her tattoo from another artist but we can’t remember his name(maybe Chris). It was almost identical- not quite the same but we’re still happy. Jacob also gave me a spontaneous paw print that I have been wanting as well. Great place, very clean, and friendly staff! Will be back!

This is the first review I have ever written, but I felt the need to let everyone know what an awesome shop this is. Really friendly and knowledgeable. I went in wanting to get my husbands name on my ring finger and they let me know in a nice way that, that wasnt such a great idea if I wanted it to be legible in the future. So I left there with an initial and our wedding date and couldnt be happier. Dylan was great, he had a light hand and made the whole experience fun. I will definitely be going back for my next tattoo.

Chris Aragon is my go to guy! HANDS DOWN, he is cold with it, the service is always super chill, really great conversation, the shop is always clean and sanitized, masks were being worn the whole time. He’s done a few of my tattoos and I’ve found my forever artist, the other artists there are just as great too! They are efficient af and always playing the best music. This shop will NEVER disappoint. If you need some amazing work, GO HERE!

In town for a couple of concerts and saw this place did walk-ins. Process couldn’t have been smoother and the staff both behind the bar and the tattoo artist were lovely and welcoming. Definitely recommend.

I absolute LOVE the work I got here. I got 2 tattoos within a few days of each other done by Barry and they are SO COOL!!! Excellent place to grab a tattoo! I designed a quick minimal tattoo and Jacob helped make it perfectly symmetrical. Very steady hand who was able to create thin lines for my little tattoo design. Also, staff was awesome and had a positive vibe with everyone. Highly highly recommend and will def come back for my next tat.

I began this day going to a different artist and shop. When i went in they said my concept was to advanced for a walk in and they couldnt help me. Then when i advised I was willing to see if their other artist might be able to do it they kicked me out and wouldnt let me talk to them.So I went across the street and talked to Chris Drts. He took my concept incorporated all my thoughts and ideas and made it his own work of art. I couldnt be happier with the professionalism and customer service that was offered to me.Yes. It was pricey but what do you expect for getting a permanent piece of art on your body. The money was well worth it and they quality is amazing. I definitely recommend coming here for walk ins. Their artist are advanced enough to be able to take a concept, draw it out, and execute their final results. Quick, efficient, and no quality lost.

Got my first tattoo here from Hunter. It was a spontaneous walk-in, and they were very accommodating on a not-so-busy Saturday afternoon. Friendly staff, clean facilities, everyone was masked, and Hunter did a great job! Everyone was cool and I had a great experience. I’ll be coming back for my next one.

I cant say Im all that impressed with the tattoo I received there. I went there with my best friend when he stayed in Austin for a week. I had a cute little butterfly done above the tattoo for my daughters name. The line work is not even, the whole left side is bigger than the right. The antenna is a little smudged I would say. The color is a little more basic than I would have liked. It was actually really expensive for something so small that didnt take even an hour. It was done by Barry and the only reason I give two stars is because he was really nice and patient with the million questions my friend had. But even her tattoo isnt all that. I figured Id let it heal up mostly to see the final outcome before I posted my review but Im still not happy with it.

Went in to do a cover up with Chris Drst. He had the best bedside manners, listened to all of my needs and wants. He went above and beyond to give me what I wanted, excellent line work! I’m super happy with my results! Definitely recommend going to see him! Overall everyone in there was very sweet, 10/10!

Dylan Mott has done two wonderful tattoos on my shoulder. One from his flash, one freehand. I drive up from San Antonio because he’s the only person I trust to do tattoos. His pricing is super reasonable and he’s very, very nice!!! Everyone at Sacrament is. The shop is also very clean and sanitary. Dylan uses surgical wrap stuff (can’t remember what it’s called) that helped both of my tattoos heal faster.Whether you’re wanting your 50th or your 1st tattoo, I would recommend this shop. No weird egos or anything to make you uncomfortable, and Dylan is very kind and flexible when it comes to what you want.

The staff here is amazing, I trust them so much. I’ve gotten some of my best work at the shop and always feel taken care of. They make your visits extremely comfortable, it’s a cozy atmosphere. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Barry is absolutely my favorite tattoo artist! I drive to Austin for two reasons, Barrys tattoos and food. I have 4 tattoos from Barry and they are all magnificent. But the fish is my favorite. Yes it supposed to be upside down, because it is dead. The title of the work is To Bloom not Bleed, and by the artist Peony Yip. I have six tattoos. the one I got here is probably the simplest yet most expensive. that said, Im mostly happy with the turnout. Barry was very professional and fast, however there is an ink dot below the tattoo that was not a part of the initial design.. unfortunately a mistake that I get to keep on my body for life. paid for it even.

They overcharge for a simple small tattoo, and every single one of our friends tattoos were crooked or messed up somehow. We saw two different artists who both didn’t do the best work. And one of the guys was rude to one of our friends.

Me and my boyfriend went out to Austin for some fun and happened to see the shop. The shop was very clean and everyone was really nice. Dillon was amazing and did both of our tattoos! Will definitely be going back! 👍🏼

I am so blown away by this place! Absolutely gorgeous tattoo, very friendly and very professional/clean. I am making it a tradition to stop by every time I pass through Austin! Hunter has amazing skill and I couldn’t be happier with my new piece.

Was super excited and in a jolly mood going into the shop. I should’ve looked at the reviews first before going . And even how they reply to negative comments on here should give you an idea of their attitude.Anyways , walked in wanting to get a snake on my foot. I asked about numbing cream that I applied previously to coming in. Maybe he was having a bad day, or he against numbing cream because he wasn’t helpful at all. Once I noticed he was clearly bothered that I was asking him about it or annoyed talking to me.. I just cut that convo short to help his day go by smoother.( across the street they were way more helpful, and actually gave me good tips and advice for it so shout out to them for customer service)Corey super stand offish.(probably just having a bad day)he Quoted me 400$ (which I knew would be a reasonable amount bc it’s downtown Austin ) but he stated “it’s 400$ …can u afford that?” And his tone was Condescending. Even throughout his attitude from the time I walked in. I still wanted a tattoo. I saw a clipboard with names on it and asked “so ok this is where I put my number down?” …. (Because he didn’t explain anything to me at all… or how to even get an appointment/session in lol) he replies with “I mean yea…. if u actually going to get it” . I still put my number down because again…. I want a tattoo.. that’s why I came in.. lol. and never got a call back (by the way there were two other people above my name.. and they were already crossed out so I was next)This shop isn’t really an open welcoming friendly type of establishment. I think it’s more a “I’m drunk with my friend let’s stop by here to get something small” kind of shop given the location.

I love this shop! I’ve got multiple great tattoos done by Barry. We’re currently working on a large dragon piece and it’s coming out better than I could have ever imagined. The staff is super friendly and professional and you’ll definitely walk out of there with a sick tattoo

Chris Cook is Austin’s best new tattoo artist. Incredible line work, implements your vision in his own unique way while still making everything exactly how you want. Have gone to him twice since he started at Sacrament and couldn’t be happier

This was my third wonderful experience at a Shaman/Pineapple establishment. I went in to Sacrament after being treated in a rushed/uninterested manner at a nearby shop. My partner was like, “Sacrament is nearby...did you know it was a Shaman shop?” And I was like, “I had no idea, betch! Let’s go!” This was a semi-spontaneous tattoo that I wanted, and I only had a general idea when I walked in. I was greeted instantly, described my idea to the front desk guy, and within ~20 mins an artist sketched an idea that I loved...on his first try.Because this was a semi-spontaneous tattoo, I didn’t know who I’d be paired up with. When the front desk guy told me it would be Barry, it was *extremely* helpful to have all of the artists’ portfolios on the coffee table in the waiting room. Being able to see Barry’s past work was extremely calming.Within another ~10 mins I was back on Barry’s table. We experimented with a few placement positions on my back and the tattooing was over in about 10 more minutes. I love the artists I’ve worked with at Shaman because they use high-quality bandages that make healing a breeze. Barry was professional, intense in a yes-this-guy-is-an-actual-artist way, and hella talented.I was quoted a fairly high range and my final bill was the higher number of the range. Oddly though, this was all comforting. The old adage “you get what you pay for” is never more true than it is with tattoos. And I was paying for permanent, legitimately original art that was perfectly executed on my skin. Clean, cool place. Thanks, guys!

Sacrament Tattoo is GREAT! I found them by scouring Instagram to find an artist whose style I liked that could do a custom piece that means a lot to me. I found Dylan’s Instagram (@dolladolladill) and saw the variety of styles he can do with great talent. I had reached out to a few studios previously that turned me down, but my experience with Dylan and Sacrament is what will keep me coming back to them specifically for my ink fix. I love everything about the artists’ perspective on their studio and space (you can find this on their website). Sacrament is also super clean and super rad inside making guests feel comfortable from the minute they walk in the door. Dylan is stupid talented (especially considering his price, he could totally charge more IMO) and super chill. I can’t recommend Sacrament enough!

Wonderful place! Dylan did my sleeve, and had done such an amazing job! Highly recommend him and this shop in general. All of the people there are so nice and wonderful (especially the owners Chris and Dylan). Just a great place!

This place has a really chill vibe. Everyone is awesome and helpful. Ive gotten two tattoos done by Chris and am impressed with his work and his general demeanor of kindness and respect for the art and the client.

Excellent atmosphere, very chill and relaxed place. Hunter did a fantastic job on my ink, which included some lines that were absolutely perfect... really pleased.

The artist Elmo killed it with his design and professionalism. The atmosphere at the shop was very welcoming and they answered all questions. Elmo was great and will be going back soon. If you are a anime fan, he’s your guy.

Got two tattoos done here by Hunter. I was very happy with how they turned out, and Hunter was wonderful. He displayed exceptional professionalism, sanitation, and design. I would happily go back for additional work.

Dropped in for a tattoo while I was in town for a music conference last summer. I got song lyrics on my upper forearm done in a newspaper-type font. The staff were awesome, and the artist who did my tattoo was quick and very skilled. I’ll be back the next time I’m in Austin!

All around solid operation. Chris listened to all of my preferences, schedule and was very accommodative. During the tattoo we talked about everything from travel to food with the other workers. Very impressed!

Ive gotten tattoos from both Chris Drts and Jacob. They were both done wonderfully and Id definitely go back to the shop, all the staff was nice and friendly.

Bobby messed up my tattoo, by adding a word that was not in the quote, and then started to ghost me after promising to cover it up. Wouldnt recommend him as hes a pain to work with.
