I get tattoos here fairly often. In fact, in Austin it’s been the only shop I’ve gone to. Both Ramsey and Amanda are great and I’ll be coming back for a while to come.

In the past 4 months I have gotten 4 tattoos. All of which have been with Amanda. I’ve gone to her ever since she was working in Chicago. I know any time I have an idea of what I want or see something that catches my attention Amanda will do all she can to make sure it comes out absolutely perfect. She is truly the sweetest person ever and makes you feel confortable from the moment you sit down to the moment you’re done. If you want a badass tattoo and have someone who genuinely cares about every client Amanda is the person for you. I will definitely be planning a visit to Austin to get more done by her very soon!Don’t ever hesitate booking or walking in and choosing Amanda, it’ll be the best decision you’ve ever made!!!!

Best place to get a tattoo in Austin!!! After calling multiple places, they were the kindest and answered all of my questions. They had same day walk-in availability and once I got there I only had to wait 30 minutes (which is exactly what they told me). Ramsie is my new go-to! She was so patient with me and made sure it was exactly where I wanted, the font I wanted, and reminded me to check the spelling multiple times :) She’s the best!!! And affordable!

Went for Friday the 13th flash and despite all of the crazy energy and chaos of the day everyone was super kind and had the best customer service. I got tatted and pierced, 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for a super mellow and cool tattoo shop.

I need to give a shout out to Sage. I came in with a request for some help with picking out some barbell. He listened to my request, took me to his area and helped me find exactly what I needed. The service was fast, professional, and done with competence. The shop was clean and the employees were friendly. Thank you Sage!Also, I enjoyed the music. I dont know who picked it out (older classics of country & western music), but it was awesome hearing the older music.

Hi! if i could give this place 10 stars i would!!! the environment as soon as you walk in is amazing. i talked to a gentleman named Rooster, very sweet and helpful kid. I made an appointment with Ramsie! she killeddddd it for me and my fiancé. beautiful experience. i also got my second re done with sage! holy cow what a great and funny guy!!! no matter their experience levels, they are all so talented and sweet people! you won’t regret it!!! AND they have so many specials and deals now whoop

I got my eyebrow piercing done by Sage and they did such an incredible job. I was nervous because I’d never gotten a facial piercing before, but they made the experience so comfortable and awesome and chill! I felt super at ease and it’s healed GREAT. 10/10, will be going back. (Also, super affordable for any fellow broke people.)

I got very lucky to find Sage who re-pieced me after my new lobe piercing sunk into my ear due to incorrect jewelry and the back being on too tight (not done by this shop or Sage). He was extremely informative, kind, and professional. He educated me on why it happened and supported me during his off hours as this happened right before I went out of town. My piercing is healing nicely and I highly recommend Sage to anyone wanting a piercing!

This is the place to go! Was visiting the city and came in for a helix. Staff was so friendly and helpful. I hardly waited and Kali did my piercing. Again so friendly and helpful :)

Ive been coming here since 2020 & have had a great experience every time :) Everything on my left arm has been done here. Ive been tattooed 5 times (once by Mike & 4 times by Ramsie) & had my industrial piercing done by Alia. When I first started my sleeve, I spoke to the owner Keith and he gave me great advice. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. Ramsie is the nicest and chillest tattoo artist Ive worked with.Ive been to tattoo shops where they treat me like I dont know anything about the tattoo process & mansplain things to me, but have never had any experience like that here.Definitely recommend Ramsie, Mike, or Keith for tattoos and Alia for piercings 💜 check out their Traditional Tuesdays too!

Austin Tattoo is one of our favorite tattoo shops. We have only really experienced their flash tattoo specials (Friday the 13th, Halloween, valentines) but they do excellent work, brilliant color and large flash for their events!

Ramsie made me super comfortable the entire time. She was open to any changes I wanted to make to the design. She’s the first tattoo artist I’ve been to who both sized and placed it exactly how I wanted. She also works quick! Friendly service all around the shop. Definitely coming back!

Went to Mike for a shoulder tattoo. Not only was it super expensive, but he was really heavy handed and my skin had a bad reaction to it. It’s been over a year since I got it done and you can still see some of the inflammation and this tattoo looks way more pronounced than any of my other ones.

I get my piercings done here and I always have a great experience with Kali. Her jewelry offerings are vast and theyve really expanded over the past couple of years! She carries jewelry of all price ranges which is really great if youre trying to stick to a budget. She can also order anything you want from her suppliers and shipping is really fast.Kali is very knowledgeable with piercings and she evaluates if you are a good candidate for certain piercings. For example, I couldnt heal a normal helix piercing to save my life and I kept sleeping on it, so she is always sure to point out if certain piercings will be more difficult to heal for me to make the final decision. I love that she isnt all about her bottom line and will advise against piercings if Im not a good candidate. It shows that she respects and loves her art.Ive also purchased handmade jewelry from Kali and have always received compliments. I cant say enough good things about her!

Absolutely LOVED this place! Just came in for a replacement lip barbell and they had them in the right size I needed (which is surprising hard to come by here in austin) anyways, they were all super nice, I was in and out in under 10mins. Will definitely be back for more jewelry. ✨️

My first time here was for Friday the 13th, and the virtual line experience made for the smoothest Friday the 13th Ive ever had. Everyone was really kind, I got a piercing *and* a tattoo and Id definitely return for both services in the future.

Ive gotten almost all of tattoos here from many different artists and they are all phenomenal. Special shout out to Lauren, I love her work and her creativity on my tattoo ideas. I also recently got my nostrils pierced here as well, Sage is amazing. The shop is very clean, I love the environment as well as the people.

I had a wonderful time here!!!! I worked with Ramsie who made me feel comfortable, secure, and relaxed while getting my tattoo. Corresponding with her was a breeze and the design she drew up was amazing. This shop felt less stuffy or pretentious than other places I’ve gone to. I got my Friday the 13th music note tattoo here, and despite the amount of people they saw before me, when I went in the staff was still kind and courteous after 6 straight hours. Jeremy did my ink, and did a great job!

I’m gonna start off by saying I love(d?) this place! I have been a regular here since I was 19! Prices are awesome (not just flash!), designs are cool, atmosphere is okay.Recently I came in alone for the first time for a valentines flash. Flash days are hectic, I’m aware, I’m not new to the tattoo scene. But when I entered the building this day, the vibe was immediately off. It definitely wasn’t super busy. The front desk person wasn’t very nice. She was kinda short tempered and just seemed like she didn’t wanna be there. While I was there, a party of 3 people left while waiting, I assume from the vibes, but I don’t know.When it was my turn to go back, they ignored my preferred name (you fill these out when you walk into the establishment!) And my pronouns. I honestly assumed they were not calling me at first, so they kept saying my birth name louder. When I looked up, it was me that they were calling, with the (name and pronoun) preference sheet in their hand. I thought at least the front desk person who intakes the paperwork, would correct him. (she did not)This had never happened to me here before, so I was pretty shocked. The tattoo artist didn’t exactly introduce himself, and I don’t think we had a super bad experience or anything- it was quick and easy. I was just disappointed at my interaction, especially since this was the first time i’ve gone alone. I’m sure it was a mistake, but the fact that I wrote it down for it to be ignored, was silly to me. I’m never one to stand up for myself, and no one corrected them.Ramsie is cool as f*ck tho. I recommend them to anybody. Good tattoos & very sweet! All this being said, I will probably be back. I’m just nervous now, I hope it doesn’t happen again. I would say about 60% of the time I have a good experience. (:I do recommend this place often, especially to those who are heavily experienced with tattooing/tattoos.(if I could give 2.5 stars, I would. But 3 is more accurate than 2!)

Great flash to pick from. I was tattooed by the owner who is a very nice guy. A week later I went back so my wife could get a Halloween flash and I saw a lady get a little sheet ghost in the same place as me. V cool. I plan on coming back for more work to be done. I got pierced by Kali Harris in my Conch, and was very happy with the experience. She does her own anodizing so you can order custom jewelry which is great! She did a great job in terms of COVID-19 safety concerns as did all the other staff, and she even has masks and ear saver accessories for sale that will make wearing a mask while healing your ear piercings easier.The aftercare saline mist is the same price as the stuff at the drug store, so just pick that up while youre there. She uses only high quality jewelry and her piercing space was pristine. She did the piercing quickly and communicated about what to expect really well. Ill definitely be back!

I have gotten piercings done and bought jewelry from Kali. Everyone is always friendly, and the place is clean and inviting. Kali is great at explaining how to care for piercings and has always been available for checking in on them.

I booked a tattoo appointment with Mike Harris the morning of, he was quick to get me an appointment and had a few stencils drawn up for when I arrived. When I arrived I met Mike, he was quick to get setup while ensuring a sterile environment. A year and a half later my tattoo is healed and hair and still looks new. Will be back soon.

I had the WORST day. My flight was delayed. My taxi driver sucked. It was hot. BUT Alia and Ramsie made my day a 100 times better. They were so sweet and patient and charismatic. Would fly to Austin just to get tattooed by them again. Thank you guys 💕

Ive been wanting to get some new ear piercings + switch up jewelry for a while but didnt know what I wanted. Kali was so sweet and gave me some awesome suggestions. She mapped everything out and I loved that I could get beautiful jewelry right away instead of being stuck with an ugly silver stud until healed. Cannot recommend enough for anyone looking for that curated ear look from someone who takes the time to understand what you are looking for and does the job right.

Scheduled a 6PM appointment, stopped by 2 hrs in advance to choose the tattoo and told them where I wanted it. I arrive at 6:00 the artist comes out the back 30 minutes later just to say “Oh I can’t do it today man”. Super unprofessional and a time waste, should have just went to Black Dagger.

My daughter & I had a great experience here yesterday. The staff was fun, friendly & professional. Ramsie did both of our tattoos and was very personable & knowledgeable and did a great job. We’d definitely go back.

The owners are amazing people. The artists are great. Good people all around. Be on the lookout for Friday the 13th events. Their crazy fun. They also do some fundraising events with special flash choices.The artists will work with you on most designs but in my opinion the fall in the American Traditional.Give them your business if you want quality work.

Ive been to this place a handful of times and have never had a bad experience but this time Im pretty disappointed with my tattoo. The lines seem blown out and Im very nervous that it will get worse (its now day 4) I also got another tattoo and both of them seem to not be healing as great as other ones Ive gotten before.

Only one tattoo artist available for 5 days is weird for a tattoo shop. Had a few of my friends do piercings instead, one had her belly button ball fall out, and another had her septum ball fall out twice. Since a few of us got piercings, we were told to come back in half an hour so they could clean the stations. After coming back, the piercer already left for the day... just a weird experience in Austin. Strange practices, would have been better off going elsewhere for quality piercings and experience.

Second time Ive gone here. Great service, clean, and the tattoos have come out beautifully. Will definitely go back for more

Mike was professional and quick with my tattoo. I got 2 Halloween theme tattoos on my ankle. He adjusted the stencil when I requested. He made sure I was comfortable nd checked in with me a couple time.Update after healing. My cauldron was a bit finicky. And kept scabbing even with lots of lotion. I really wish they used that saniderm to bandage the area. The healing process is just messy and annoying without it

I went in for the Halloween special. It was easy to book online and very affordable! The place was packed when I got there but they still got me in and out, LITERALLY, It took 15 min total. I love the tattoo and would go back!

The place is clean, the artists are nice. Job was done fast and it wasnt too expensive. Its an open space you will share with other ppl while getting tatted. No one besides the person getting the tattoo can go back there. Im only giving 4 stars because of the quality of my tattoo, I think theres some little mistakes but nothing too bad.Edit (1 month later): Im giving it 5 stars because after the healing process my tattoo looked good

I’ve been twice now and had work done this last time. Everyone here is good people. Now which granted the table I was on was a little uncomfortable but I would be more than happy to get on it again. Full disclosure I haven’t been to another shop in Austin but I don’t see a reason to. As price goes it’s exactly what it should be, honestly I would have paid more. Also if you go please tell Chris, “the bird is backwards.”

As a walk in, Ramsie was able to give me exactly what I wanted. I can truly appreciate an artist that puts as much effort into a small tattoo as larger pieces. Will definitely be going back to Ramsie for any future work.

The boyfriend popped in for a quick Halloween tattoo. I didnt go in because they have good COVID protocol. He said they took his temp, had the stations distanced, and he was in and out in 15 minutes. Great tattoo and friendly staff.

Good about safety protocols during covid and door guy was nice but stern and serious when it came to policies. Some customers apparently cant follow directions or read signs and he didnt have a problem letting ppl know whats up. Ive come here pre covid and now and tattoo ppl seem profesh and do decent work.

Worst tattoo I have on my body. the entire thing is a scar. went in for traditional tuesday they advertise a $50 small american traditional tattoo went in once before and chris whipped one out in about 45 minutes. art work wasnt that great but it turned out okay. was a little skeptical about going back but dcided to try them again. this time it took about 30 minutes for the artist to finish. let me just say to the owner if youre going to advertise a special make sure your empoloyees are okay with doing it. and to the artist if you dont want to do it then DONT DO IT! dont speed through a tattoo and shred somebodys arm just to get finish a tattoo you dont care about doing. wheres the customer service? wheres your integrity? needless to say i will never go back and probably wont have it fixed. im always asked where i get my work done. one arm, done by my usual artist is amazing, the other arm ruined. i will tell anybody who asks DO NOT GO TO AUSTIN TATTOO CO. im completely disapointed and upset. regret tipping 50%,thanks Miranda Larson.
