The Dark Arts Tattoo

I have been seeing Tori and Pepe for over a year now. They are extremely talented and kind. Not only are they fantastic, but have become my close friends as well. Everyone in this shop is amazing!

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Tori for my first(of many) pet portrait piece. I knew her work was going to be incredible but I was not ready for how perfect it was going to be. Rex (my cat) was born with an eyelid deformity and I never thought a tattoo could perfectly depict him. I cannot wait to go back and work with Tori for many future pieces. The shop itself is beautiful! Open concept, lots of natural sunlight, sleek, clean, and so many plants! HIGHLY recommend not only this studio, you will not be disappointed.

As long as Benjamin King lives in Austin, there is no reason to go to anyone else. I first started going to him a couple years ago. It can be a bit nerve-wracking to go to a new artist, but I was greatly put at ease during my first visit with him after I discovered that the black and white photograph hanging in the foyer was not a photograph at all, but a painting Benjamin had done. He is a masterful artist, he is a brilliant tattooist, and moreover he is just a good guy. He’s done 13 tattoos for me, 24 different sessions….believe me when I say that Benjamin King is him.

About the shop: it is clean, modern, and not sketchy in the least. You dont walk in and wonder if you’re leaving w a staff infection (lol jk) but it’s seriously a comfortable place and highly professional.I get tattood by Savannah @lilikoitattoo & she is amazing at her art, great conversation, & just makes me feel comfortable during my appointments.I haven’t been tattood by anybody else, but I’ve seen their work, & decorum and I’d feel comfortable with everyone else as well.Perfect shop for someone looking for a more modern, new age, clean, trustworthy place.

I’ve gotten tattoos from Tori and Pepe, and I’ve never ever been disappointed! Theyre absolutely great and very kind, and I’m excited to go back to The Dark Arts Tattoo soon!

Rachel is the absolute best! She is so detailed and thoughtful when she tattoos, she makes sure everything she puts on your body matches your anatomy and flows the right way. I love to give her ideas and let her do her own thing with them because she is so creative and talented, it always comes out better than I even hope for! She is the only person I trust to tattoo me.Also, she has amazing customer service and she makes you feel comfortable even the first time you meet her!10/10 would recommend.

All my tattoos are from Rachel b/c I love her but the whole team is 🔥 great vibe I really enjoy getting tattooed here. Already got my next one scheduled.

Had the opportunity to work with Pepe on my first tattoo, and I have to say I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else. Pepe was kind, patient and very respectful with all my questions before, during and after. He crushed the design no problem, but honestly what made me feel the best was his professionalism and fun attitude. Super grateful for his time and experience. Couldn’t recommend him more. Absolutely amazing studio, open floor concept, very modern and clean. Lots of space to hang out before your session and for breaks. If you’re looking for a recommendation for a specific artist, Tori has done 3 total sessions for me, and I will 100% be going back to her. She will bring your ideas to life with complete satisfaction. I can’t speak on any other artists personally, but everyone seems super helpful and friendly. As long as I’m in the Austin area, I will be going here.

Went to Myka King recently and I wasn’t sure what I wanted at the time but I chose from her flash and she really took her time with me on what would work best with placement and the style of my other tattoos. I’m in love with my tattoo! She also has the best flash and switches it up often. The studio is super nice and open. Other techs came up and encouraged the piece. Definitely felt comfortable at this studio!

Myka did such an adorable Betty boop on me! I chose from her flash sheet and she killed it. Environment is also super clean and everyone was so nice. 10/10
