TOUGH TIGER TATTOO

I got a tattoo at Tough Tiger yesterday, and I’m super happy with how it turned out. Johnny really nailed the design, and the whole vibe of the shop was awesome—friendly, clean, and professional. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Definitely recommend this place!

I got my leg sleeve done by Niculin! He did an amazing job, does great detail, black work, and shading in such a short amount of time. You can tell he’s had years of practice. Very professional and clean environment, everyone at Tough Tiger is super welcoming especially to those coming in for their first tattoo!

I am a huge fan of Tough Tiger Tattoo. Crimer has tattooed me twice so far (I immediately booked my third appointment!) and both experiences have been great. Beyond his clear artistic talent, he and his team have created a welcoming and inclusive environment that makes me want to return. I’m excited for many future appointments.

Niculin has always been amazing and has outstanding customer service with such a beautiful and unique style that I will always keep going back for! The shop is very clean and well maintained, everyone had a very laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Cannot wait to see what else they have in store!

Ive had close to a dozen tattoo sessions at multiple shops in the US, and Tough Tiger is among the best. Ive had 3 tattoos done there by Johnny, and Im in process of booking my 4th. I would HIGHLY recommend TTT to anyone. Great environment and team.

So happy I found this place! I was looking on Instagram for an artist that does the style I like, and found Niculin. He was super responsive, fit me in for an appointment within a week, went over different style options and made 100% sure I was loving it, and did this whole piece in less than 4 hours!! It was a cover-up for some words and you cant see them at all anymore, Im so happy! He was super nice and gave me advice during the tattoo to get through the pain because I was feeling a little wimpy that day. Oh and the shop was so vibey and cute! Great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Everyone was so sweet and welcoming! Niculin is an amazing tattoo artist and is very nice. The front desk lady, Alo, is such a sweet heart. Loved the energy and atmosphere in there. Definitely will be back soon!

I’ve gone to TTT & Crimer (Johnny) for 4-5 tattoos now. Each time I come with an idea of something I like & Johnny makes it 10x better. The attention to detail & crispness of his line work are top tier & I won’t go to anyone else as a result!! The staff is friendly, the shop is clean & welcoming. After my sister got a tattoo from Crimer last summer, he came highly recommended to me. My boyfriend and were finally able to come to Tough Tiger Tattoos and had an amazing experience from start to finish. Crimer was super accommodating and kind, and gave me multiple options to make sure my tattoo was exactly what I envisioned. I am not from Austin but would definitely come back just for another tattoo here!

Fantastic shop with a great group of regular and visiting artists. The shop is clean, comfortable, and I have already made multiple visits for new pieces. The owner also holds flash days to raise money for wildlife charities. Great shop, cant recommend enough!

Slayer was very responsive during the booking process. The staff are very friendly, down to earth and super talented. This was a very special experience and I would 100% recommend. I love how my tattoo came out, I have never had so many compliments on a tattoo as I have with this one, the colors are so beautiful and vibrant! It was a fun but also cathartic experience.

The shop is tucked away from the traffic characteristic to Austin with some phenomenal, friendly, and very talented artists that have a wide range of specialties to cover all your tattoo needs. I was greeted with a warm welcome from everyone in the shop and felt completely comfortable, almost like being at home. I had Jacque tattoo a design she posted and it is incredibly well done. She was very nice, detail oriented, and pleasant to be in the company of and tattooed by. Check them out!

Tough Tiger is the place to go for a tattoo. This has got to be my favorite tattoo spot in Texas with a great team and atmosphere. Crimer is my artist he is great and really skilled with designing. I’d definitely recommend this place to anybody.

Jacque at tough tiger was awesome! I got a manga panel done by her and the detail and line work was incredible. The space was very clean and everyone who works there was super chill as well. It definitely won’t be my last tattoo from there.

I had the pleasure of getting work done the awesome miss Jacquee! The experience was phenomenal, from the concept to the finished piece, I was not left disappointed! Both of my pieces healed up really well and the process was a supremely smooth one. The shop itself is in a quaint up and coming part of Austin, a nice reprieve from all the commotion of the city. The shops artists were warm and welcoming, while I was there, we even struck up a conversation about anime! LOL! All in all, will definitely recommend! 150287630/10

Just had my second time seeing the shop owner Johnny/Crimer and first time in the Tough Tiger space last week to get a long awaited forearm tattoo of an ouroboros— from the moment I walked in Crimer was excited, friendly, and ready to hear my thoughts on the design. He was patient working with me on the couple changes I wanted(something that’s lacked in past tattooers that I’ve been to) and he made sure I was comfortable in the space, also offering complimentary coffee, tea and water.His work is done fast, sacrificing none of the care or check ins with client. He also has a wide range of images he’s particularly good at and is as excited to make customs as he is doing his own ideas. Can’t recommend the place enough.
