Ben Matthews Tattooing

Ben has been a pleasure to know and to work with in designing my tattoos. I had a tattoo covering and another reworking that was over 35+ years old. So, I wanted someone who had experience and would work with me to design a new tattoo that matched my vision. Ben worked patiently with me to find the right design that I was looking for and I am SO pleased with the final results! During our session, Bens easy personality and laid back demeanor was calming and reassuring. I knew I was in good hands! Why can’t I give Ben more than 5 stars? Seriously. Ben’s work, attention to detail, and thoughtfulness are all above and beyond. He’ll do whatever it takes—including reading a book you’re drawing on for inspiration or reading your mind—to make sure you love your tattoo. I’ve been lucky enough to get 20 or so tattoos from him, and I hope to get many more.

Ben did an amazing job on my first tattoo. I chose Ben after seeing his illustrative tattoo portfolio, and wanted something in that style. I reached out and explained a rough idea of what I wanted, and within a few days he was able to take my small idea and transform it into a truly unique and creative design. For the tattoo process itself, Ben is extremely professional, hygienic and safe, and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend Ben for your next tattoo!

Ben is my go-to tattoo artist, he has done black&grey/illustrative florals and other custom designs for me. My tattoos from Ben have aged very well and I get compliments on them all the time. Highly recommend!!
