What a delightful shop right on Atlantic Ave. Because I dont always wear earrings, my previously pierced ears had become somewhat closed. Bryant was terrific. We discussed earring options, and within 15 minutes, I hadpierced ears again! Cleanshop, professional staff,what a great experience.Thank you!

Came in to get piercings for a birthday present. Bryant ended up doing two lip piercings and two eyebrow piercings on my boyfriend and I. He was super patient with us, and got us through the process quickly. Also out of all the piercing shops Ive seen this one has been the most affordable with the best results. This is honestly the best piercing shop Ive ever been to.

I would have given this place a 5 star review if it wasnt for the issues im having with the healing, and no its not my fault. ive done all of the aftercare that was recommended to me. i went in to get a dahlia piercing both sides, i was told swelling was normal becuz its an oral piercing did all the after care, and my left side is literally sinking into my face becuz the bar they decided to put in was way to small to accommodate for the amount of swelling. i would no recommend getting any piercings done here if you are prone to swelling. i needed a much larger bar then what was put in, the bar that was put in seems like its more for after its healed then while healing. everyone was nice though. shop was clean and sanitary ive no complaints other than that. wouldnt recommend any oral piercings here (im not from VA so i cant just go back and have them switch the jewelry sadly but i shouldnt have to go back for something like that.)

Daughters wanted permanent jewelry, an anklet was placed on one daughter so tight that it looked to cut off her circulation. Ask the lady that worked there to see how tight her anklet was and she had the nerve to say she didn’t want to be touched. I just wanted to take a closer look. Anyway I thought it was very rude and would have ask for a refund, but they don’t give refunds according to my daughter’s electronic receipts. Will never go again and would not recommend anyone else to go. Enter at your on risk.

Bryant was fantastic. I was very appreciative of being from out of state and also being a walk in. Great customer service and love how he was able to do my piercings.

Walked in on a whim while on vayk to see what their selection was like. They had a lot of quality and trendy pieces that are right in line price wise for these brands and quality materials. Additionally the service was great. Bryant helped me decide which placement would be best for the jewelry I like most. He was very friendly and professional, and we shared a few laughs! Not to mention the piercing itself was a breeze and I’m confident it’s going to heal well. Thank you for helping me get the first piece of this cartilage going! I’m so happy with it!

My daughter (13yo) got her earlobes double pierced today, and she had a very good experience. They required my ID and hers (had to have DOB) which was clearly stated on their website. They explained the after care, and we bought their saline cleaning solution. The gentleman who did the piercing made my daughter laugh and kept her calm. Highly recommend.

Dear diary. Today was a journey like no other. The wife left her plugs at the house three hours away so we set out to find her some need beach wear. As we tricked up the strip walking in very shop one by one that looked like they cared anything close, after a hour and a half we were no closer. Then to our surprise we came upon KiVA. It was a refreshing upscale new body piercing place with a remarkable jewelry selection and show room. BRYANT Kelly was very helpful and excited about the up coming season in a week. He has some of the best art on the strip. The collection of jewelry he has was amazing and not the same mass produced stuff you see in every shop you pass. He said he is as so able to order some special one of a kind pieces off his website. He has a Instagram if you want to check that out as well. Inertia_body_piercing. I got my navel pierced by Madison, and she was the absolute best! She was so laid back, and easy to talk to, she definitely made me feel very comfortable. Both piercers are quite knowledgeable, and you can see that they both are passionate about what they do. A little on the pricey side, but its well worth it.

Bryant did a fantastic job on my daith piercing. Super clean, explained the after are thoroughly, and made me feel a lot less anxious. Ill definitely be coming back

I highly recommend this place! I had made a last-minute appointment for after work and near their closing time, but they were super kind and patient with me. Bryant took the time to thoroughly explain what I needed to know for aftercare before piercing and helped me feel very calm during the piercing process. It was a very personable and professional experience, and I would absolutely come again for future piercing wants/needs!

I went in for a forward helix piercing and Bryant succeeded past my expectations. The place is super clean and professional. Bryant was quick, informative, and great company! He was so awesome I went back the next day to change my current tragus jewelry and had him pierce a double cartlidge. Highly recommend !I came in to get left rook and they were excellent (7/24)! I came in about thirty minutes to closing so I was worried but they gave reassurance it was fine. Along with my new beautiful rook, I got advice from the girl up front with pink and green hair (I forgot her name) about my conch done by someone else. Ive had issues for almost a year with it and blamed myself so it was nice to hear it wasnt all me haha. She advised I retire it because of poor placement. The atmosphere is really awesome. I loved the conversations with both sweet front people while waiting for Bryant to finish setting up.Will definitely come back anytime Im in Virginia Beach !

Honestly theyre awesome. I got my nose and navel done there yesterday. I chickened out the first time and left. Came back 5 to 10 minutes later after I had calmed my nerves. They were patient with me and the piercing process was smooth and fast. I will only be coming here for all future piercings and will highly recommend them to anyone I know looking to get pierced.

Second time here and I like the place... Came in for a simple expansion on my ears (an upgrade)...Nice, clean and AC felt good too...It was a bit of a wait for me, but they like to make sure that what you want is what you are getting... Nice folks with a nice store...Be back again in 3 or 4 months...

Place was clean and had a good variety of jewelry to pick from. Definitely pricey, and can get better pricing elsewhere. Unfortunately due to the lack of professionalism from Bryant I will not be going back or recommending this place. He made several quiet comments that may or may not been intended to be heard. When asked how the sea soak works, he stated you drown your piercing, then quietly said like the unwanted kitten. That was uncalled for and just shows he does have any type of professionalism.

I really had a great experience here. Bryant is very funny, very professional and very educated. I got a nose piercing, I was a bit nervous but the process was quick and easy, and he clearly knows what he is doing. I highly reccomend this place, it may be a bit pricier but you really are getting quality service.

While on vacation, I decided to get a nostril piercing. I looked into all the local places and read reviews. Coming here was the absolute best decision. They were so friendly and knowledgeable. I have several piercings and tattoos so I knew all about cleaning my piercing. I didnt purchase saline solution from them because I had my own. I was reminded to check the expiration date on the saline solution I had at home (Im glad I did - it was expired). At no point did I feel any pressure to purchase anything. They let me know about all the options for jewelry at many different price ranges. Bryant really knows his stuff and even gave me pointers about some other piercings that I have. They were very friendly and knowledgeable and really make you feel at ease. I will definitely return when I am back in town.

More costly then your average tattoo shop, but definitely worth the price ! The jewelry is absolutely gorgeous (the more expensive collection) they have regular surgical jewelry as well that is beautiful. The shop was VERY clean and sanitary, the piercer Bryant was very cool and down to earth. He provided very detailed after care instructions on how to take care of the piercings. The piercings I received were nose and ear lobe, I’ve had my nose done 4 other times and this was by far the least painful and just overall a great experience

I went to KIVA for a second lobe piercing and had a great experience! Bryant was knowledge, professional and did a great job. I was really impressed by their beautiful selection of jewelry too!

I get that people have considered this placed as “overpriced”, but honestly i firmly believe they are worth it. Im 40 years young, never had a piercing in my life until yesterday. The staff educated me: explained everything in detail, were honest about the level of pain to expect (no anesthesia was used), and also explained the after-care. From the scale of 1-10, i felt 2 when my ears were punctured and 3 when the earrings were inserted. But but but!!! It was so brief, that honestly no one should be scared. Against their advice, i slept on my stomach, thus placing my head sideways, and my ears/earrings never bothered me. I have been cleaning the sites twice a day (active person). I have not experienced any pain, swelling, nor discoloration. It is a solid recommendation from me. Thank for such a positive first experience!

BEST PLACE EVER! I went in to get my nose pierced, the shops was beautiful and clean, by far the nicest piercing studio I’ve ever been in! The piercer Bryant was so nice and informative, you could really tell he loves his job! I opted out of the traditional cheap nose stud, and upgraded to American made Neometal, in mint green! Emily was such a help picking out my color and holding my hand during the piercing! I will definitely be back!

I walked in today and from the moment I stepped in to this shop I felt very comfortable. Maddie helped me out and she was so kind. She answered all my questions and even had Bryant come and speak to me before making any decisions. I can hands down say this was the best experience I have ever had with a piercing shop and it was all thanks to the both them. Great shop, amazing jewellery, and even better staff. I took my daughter there to get a belly piercing and had a great experience. The staff was so nice and very informative. Even with having a lot of customers in the store at once, they didnt rush us or pressure us into making decisions on what services we needed , instead they answered all of our questions with enlightenment and enthusiasm. My daughter loves her new piercing and I myself will be returning to that location to have my piercings done as well 😊.

Let me first start by saying I lovvvvveeee my piercing. I got the Industrial and the rook. Bryant was my piercer and he was awesome! My pain on both was about a 2 on the Rook and a 3 on the Industrial. It was Clean, quiet, and a comfortable atmosphere. He took his time to explain everything, from the sizes and choices of jewelry to day by day cleaning. He was very gentle and took his time. I loved that because I didn’t feel rushed. Which made me feel more at ease with my piercing. He is awesome and down to earth!!! I will most definitely be back for more!!! One more time.... I lovvvveeee❤️❤️😍 my piercings!!! Check him out! I have to give props to Bryant! I made an appt with a couple of friends to have our nostrils pierced (first piercing besides ears with a gun years ago) while we were in town and I had myself worked up over the expected pain and the needle and so forth and warned him I am prone to fainting and that I didnt want to see anything and didnt want him talking about the needle or what he was doing or anything.I was SHOCKED at how little pain there was and how fast it was over and after he was done, he did a great job engaging me in conversation to distract me and make sure I was alright! He also took time beforehand to explain after care and answer any questions we had. I highly recommend Bryant for your piercing needs!Thanks a bunch man!

Came here to spontaneously get my ear pierced with a double helix during my business trip/vacation. The staff was very kind, informative, and helpful in chosing my jewelry and placement. We (my daughter and I) have been coming to Kiva for about a year. Weve been in 3 times in that year. Bryant has been our piercer each time. He is always kind, helpful, informative, and never pushy. He gives us all the time we need to make informed decisions. The studio is very clean. We make appointments online and were the only ones in the studio. It is very Covid safe. We will continue to go to Kiva for all our piercing needs.

I was planning to get my rook pierced at home and decided to search piercing places while on vacation. I’m extremely happy I chose to go to kiva. Everyone working there was extremely friendly. They were also very friendly to my mom who came with me and wasn’t thrilled about the idea of another piercing (I’m over 18 lol) I really enjoyed the inside of the store because it was clearly extremely clean. After purchasing my jewelry they ran it through a sanitization machine for 15 minutes which really showed they cared about safety and quality. I would recommend to anyone and would even say it’s worth making a special trip to the oceanfront for.

Only jeweler who pierces with 14k gold!! I spent a teeny fortune!! Was well worth it. Bryant was very knowledgeable in his craft, made me feel at ease. Staff was terrific! Love my piercings!!

I was very displeased with Bryants unprofessional behavior towards me and my sister. We both felt uncomfortable with comments towards us and walked away knowing we would never come back to this establishment. I was disgusted with his egregious behavior. He had to pierce my sister‘s nose 3 times because he did it wrong. All in all take caution when going to the establishment. Thank you.

The lady we dealt with was very rude! Wanted $75 for a nose piercing then when I said that was too much she literally threw cheaper jewelry at me! The shop is grandfathered in due to the city no longer allowing tattoo shops on the strip. Dont waste your time with that lady. We went to blue horseshoe- about 20 minutes away, very friendly and professional staff!

My nose ring was too long and they customized it for me. The guy didn’t complain or mumble under his breath, he just did it and put it in my nose. He had a great personality and customer service on top a lot of knowledge on the product.

My husband and I were in VB the first week in April. A friend and I went for a walk and we found this piercing studio with lots of jewelry to look at. Many years ago I got my Tragus pierced and was looking for the right style and size hoop. Finally I found just what I wanted so I bought 2 and had my second Tragus piercing done. This shop is very professional.They use the proper equipment for sterilization, and the piercer was maticulous with every detail. Get ready to laugh because the ladies at the counter are so funny, and they really know what they are talking about. They explained the differences in jewelry and different piercings. They had the jewelry beautifully displayed in beautiful show cases around the store. The gentleman who did the piercing had a very gentle touch, and I was actually shocked he had my ear completed and I didn’t even know he had started.I am much older than the usual beach goers looking for a piercing, 57 to be exact. I highly recommend KIVA to anyone from any age group to come here and get your piercings done. KIVA is the real dealand very professional!

My experience was great! The piercer did a great job of putting me at ease, explaining the process and the different types of jewelry. If I ever decide to get another piercing, Ill come back.

Brian was courteous but did not give me what I asked for. I asked for the smallest gauge, literally gave him the nose ring I wanted him to use. but instead he went with something else. I asked for a closer placement to my other two nose piercings but instead he gave an equilateral placement. I also had to come back in for readjustments. All in all, I gave in to Brian’s suggestions but I am not satisfied with the end result.
