Walked in and was immediately greeted! It was busy but they made me feel like I was the only one in the shop. The customer service was amazing from all staff. Was helped by Reina and she was so smart, patient, and knowledgeable. Even helped me pick out a color for my new piercing! Neptune was absolutely fabulous as well and SUPER comforting and quick with the service which I appreciated ALOT. 10/10 all over. I will be back for sure!!

Im from North Carolina visiting my daughter and her family and we were in the mall in Virginia Beach and happened to walk past this shop! Ive always wanted to get a tattoo in memory of my Dad who passed away 6 years ago was told to go on their website and choose an artist msg him and find out more details, my artist was Melon and he did a fantastic job on my memorial of my Dad that I was almost brought to tears! He was very friendly, has a great sense of humor and made my experience very comfortable so next time I come to visit and want to get a tattoo Im definitely gonna see if Melon is available!

My daughter came here to visit her boyfriend that’s stationed here in the Navy. We are from Texas! She wanted her belly button pierced and they were so helpful and so sweet and were her hype girls for sure! Made her so comfortable and we are so glad we choose this place. Neptune was her piercer. Thanks again ladies for being so great!

I came in yesterday 5/16/2024 at 3:25 yesterday for my ear lobes to have a small ring gage inserted. The woman at the piercing counter was very rude, wasn’t willing to listen to what I wanted, and told me they could only do a barbell. When I was trying to show her and explain what I had and wanted, she covered up the other options so I couldn’t see them to explain.I ended up leaving due to how I was treated. She definitely did not have customer service skills and I felt extremely disrespected and will make sure others are aware of the rude people that are working in this place.

Belle is absolutely amazing! I came in a few months ago with a botched piercing, she recommended to take it out and let the area heal for a few months. Came back 5 months later, she re-pierced my rook and I haven’t experienced any issues since! She was very informative, kind and helped me stay super calm. Can’t recommend her enough.

I had a great experience at The Body Bar! Very friendly and great vibes! My best friend and I did walk in matching tattoos. We called ahead to ask about pricing and how everything works. Great phone service and they make you feel very comfortable about asking questions and are so sweet. I was tattooed by Brian, he was very kind, made sure I sat comfortably and walked me through it. Genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve had being tattooed. Extremely sanitary, safe and comfortable. Brian was not as heavy handed as I thought and the tattoo came out AMAZING!!!! Melon tattooed my best friend and we both had a great experience! So glad we decided to go! Highly recommended. :)

I had the awesome opportunity to be pierced by Belle, she was extremely thorough with her work and had exceptional customer service. I had a few questions prior to getting my vertical labret pierced, and we talked about anatomy and made sure that the piercing was fit to my structure. She made sure that I was satisfied with the placement marking before piercing, and during the process she went through every step, and it definitely makes you feel included and well aware of every step of the process. We also talked a lot about the after math of the piercing, what to expect, and how to properly take care of your piercing. You can tell she takes absolute pride in her work and the satisfaction and comfortability of her clients. 10/10 recommend getting pierced by belle

Ive gotten my labret, Nipples and navel done here. I was a little worried at first since it is at a mall, but everything is amazing. The staff are hilarious and super respectful. The place is clean and gorgeous. Personally Ive gotten all of mine done by Neptune and she is now my favorite. Very helpful and nice when asking questions, they definitely also hype you up for it!! The process through each piercing is quick, clean and handled with care.

I’ve been talking about getting this piercing for a long time, but I never did because I didn’t know where I wanted to go. I ended up at Body Bar, and I’m so glad I did. The shop is clean and well organized. The staff was super kind. The first person I met was Stevie; she was very sweet and knowledgeable. Bell was the one who pierced my ear… she has the most calming voice ever, kinda like a Disney Princess, and she coached me through the process. So basically, as the needle went through, it felt like a slight pinch, and boom, I’m done. It was the best experience I’ve ever had with a piercing. She encouraged me and told me exactly when to inhale and exhale. Afterwards, she informed me of everything I needed to know about aftercare. So, if you’re nervous about getting your piercing, just ask for Bell.

My best friend and I both went to get koi fish and we absolutely loved the shop. Everyone was beyond respectful and the tattoos came out beautifully. Very sanitary and extremely friendly. Melon was my artist and was very sweet but he gets asked everyday how long he’s been tattooing for, to answer for him… it’s been a long time! He’s very talented and knows what he is doing. I will be coming back and hope others do as well!

Drove 5 hours from NC to get a get what you get tattoo from stitch with my sister. I happened to run across her on tiktok a few weeks back. Shes super nice and we love our little pieces. We will definitely be coming back soon!

I recently got my nose pierced with my daughter. The front of house ladies were super sweet and helpful. Bella was great piercer! Very calm, very fast and really sweet.

I have come to the body bar for 20 out of my 22 piercings. ALL of the staff & piercers are friendly, conversational, & professional. I am completely comfortable with everyone who works within this studio. I have never received anything but quality piercings, & never experienced any complications or issues with any of my piercings from this studio. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I got to be pierced by the wonderful Bella who I have been pierced by on two separate occasions now. I have had most my piercings done by this establishment (nipples, ears, nose, mouth, etc.). The staff is always super friendly and helpful, the atmosphere has been very welcoming each visit. The piercers are always very precise and aren’t afraid to make sure that the jewelry will come out as straight as possible. I have never felt awkward or ashamed when coming here. I absolutely love this place and plan to only come here for the foreseeable future. I make a trip out of state because this place is so worth it!

Stopped by their booth at the VB tattoo convention, and all I can say is WOW! I wanted to get my nipples pierced but was very scared/nervous. I spoke with Stevie and she was so kind and knowledgeable about the process and how they would heal, I got them done and I couldn’t be more happier with the care the employees put into their clients! 12/10 would recommend!

Had a great experience with Neptune during the piercing process. But the middle aged woman who works the front is incredibly condescending and rude. If you are new to piercings, don’t ask her anything. She doesn’t educate, she speaks down to you. I would love to continue to see Neptune, but I likely won’t go back because of the way I was treated by the front desk woman.

Don’t go here ever. The manager doesn’t care about any misinformation you were given as a customer. I called to verify a policy regarding my child being able to come into the establishment During my service and I drove 30 mins to the location and they refuse to service me. This is very unprofessional and I would never advise anyone to visit this location. They aren’t friendly and definitely do not treat customers with respect. I will never come back here again and I really hope anyone who has been given misinformation by their staff will not visit here either. This company is tasteless to say the least!!! Vivian was the manager of that day.

Went in yesterday to check it out and was greeted by Reina, she provided the best service and quickly got me signed up for a piercing. I would 100% go back just to see her

Went there about a week ago to have my naval pierced. the markup was fine and symmetrical but the piecer pierced it crooked (quite literally looks like this /). when i pointed it out the piecer assured me that it was the curve of the bar, but its not, its just crooked😊 $90 only to have to be removed and needing to fully healing before a repiercing can be done.

TL;DR 10/10 Belle is the best!Definitely was not disappointed! Belle was great and a customer service pro! Listening to my concerns due to previous experience else where, Belle reassured me and gave me all the info on what she was using, how the process worked and even told me about my nose anatomy that I didnt know about (deviated septum). I super appreciate the empathy and dedication she showed to her practice. 10/10 will be going here for future piercings and 100% recommend Belle. Not only was Belle amazing but also the ladies at the front were fantastic and knowledgeable. Giving me info on which jewelry is best to use with my Nickle allergy and also showing me their selection.

I’ve been helped by Neptune multiple times for piercings. She’s always so personable. Belle did an amazing job with my three piercings. And the women at the front desk are always the sweetest.

I thought this would have been a great place to go to but the lady at the front (40s or 50s) was very rude. If you know nothing about piercings/ tattoos, I would not recommend talking to her. She was rude to whoever she spoke to on the phone as well which prompted me further to just exit. Hopefully others have better experiences but I will never be back. This lady needs some training on how to interact with customers.

I got my nipples pierced here and Chelsea and Stevie at the front were amazing. Neptune did my piercing and she was so sweet and made me feel very comfortable. It was an all girl shop and I loved the environment. It was women supporting women and it was the most comfortable tattoo shop/piercing shop Ive ever experienced.

Had a wonderful time! Myself and both my daughters got pierced by Belle, she is wonderful! Also got myself and three others tattooed by Iva ( I hope I spelled her name correctly) she did some very meaningful tattoos on us all and did fantastic work.

Got my seconds on my lobes and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Shelly was my piercer and she was awesome! Very knowledgeable and gentle, my piercings look great and I am overall super pleased! The front worker was very nice as well and helped me quickly, very clean place that gave for a good experience.

Everyone was super nice. Piercer made me feel very comfortable. And my wife was able to get her ears pierced for the first time because she saw that my septum piercing went so well. On top of that the process was quick and they have very reasonable prices. Well definitely come back!

I really love this place! I usually go to the Chesapeake location for my daughters piercings but this time I wanted to treat myself. The staff here are all pleasant and professional. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming. Jessica was my technician and she was amazing as always! She makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed and gives great advice. Belle pierced my septum and nipples and honestly she has the softest baby angel hands. It was quick and the pain was minimal, she did all three so quick I hardly even realized we were done. She’s such a sweetheart and definitely takes a lot of pride in her work, I couldn’t recommend her and the body bar enough!

My daughter had her ears pierced this morning by Belle. She is amazing. If my daughter gets any more piercings we will be going to the body bar deluxe to see Belle. Thank You for the wonderful experience!

Bella did my nipple peircings! Very reasonable price, I was only gonna get one done but it was such a better deal to get 2 I just went ahead & got both done haha! The staff made me feel so comfortable & walked me through everything perfectly! Definitely the best experience Ive ever had getting peirced & these are my 14th & 15th ones. I was looking for a new peircer in the area & I think I found one!~☆

I had my piercings taken out and put back in due to an MRI I had. The staff is incredible. Super friendly, fun and helpful. I also had decided to get new jewelry and when they didn’t have it in stock, they took extra time to look it up and ordered it. I will be going back for tattoo work I have been thinking about getting.

I walked into this place because it was such a calm looking atmosphere, it looks like a day spa. I usually do more research before getting a piercing but I had the itch and wanted a new hole then and there. The employee at the main register was very polite and helpful. I didn’t wait very long before Jessica took me to the back for my piercing, she offered professional advice but let me make the final decision for placement without pressuring. Pretty sure the piercing I selected is typically a painful one, but this lady has the hands of a baby angel! It was quick with minimal discomfort, and done before I had time to have second thoughts! Normally I get faint after blood draws or piercings for whatever unknown reason, but this experience at Body Bar was so efficient that I don’t think my mind and body had time to embarrass me with a dizzy spell. The piercer’s work area and tools were clean, she wore new gloves, and was very friendly and professional. Body Bar emailed me a pdf for aftercare instructions, which I prefer to a paper that I would likely misplace or toss accidentally. I had a great experience here and will definitely be going back for my next piercing! I will also recommend to friends!

My daughter went in to get her belly button pierced. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to ask a million questions with out getting annoyed. They were very thorough and gave us all the information we needed to keep her new piercing from getting infected. The place was very clean and we would definitely visit again, when getting another piercing or any other service they offer.

Stitch is amazing! She brought my vision to life. She’s so sweet and we talked the whole way through my tattoo. It was such a wonderful and relaxing experience. I was super nervous about getting my sternum tattooed but she was super gentle and talked me all the way through it!

I was very apprehensive about allowing my 16 year old to get his nose pierced again after having an epic fail by the piercing pagoda in Jacksonville, NC however, I promised my son that I would at least go with him to The Body Bar to get more information and I am so glad I did! First of all, the customer service of Olie and another young lady ( whose name I do not recall but she does eyelashes at The Body Bar in Norfolk) was impeccable! Not only did she assure me that the piercing gone wrong was actually a good thing but, she explained why! She gave a through lesson about piercings explaining the differences in the ethics and boundaries enforced by the state of VA vs. NC but, she also took as much time we needed to ask questions before making our decisions. I have to say that she is the one that sold me as I felt confident and comfortable about her knowledge base and especially her willingness to teach us about the choices in metals, piercing types and the sterilization process that should be standard with every instrument being used! She was so thorough that I wanted to get a piercing but I just let my son get his and we are both highly satisfied! Olie is so amazing and I highly recommend that you take time to go see her soon!

I went in and was very nervous because I had been told by friends that this piercing would hurt. However, when I went in, Olivia was very sweet and patient with me and made the entire experience worth the while. They are very informative on how to take care of the piercing and has a very clean environment.

Got my VCH here this past weekend, done by Belle and it was awesome. bit of a wait (as expected) but totally worth it! The place is clean and bright, Belle was super professional and personable.

I have never gotten my eyebrows threaded before so I was super nervous, but Kali gave me a great experience! She was very gentle and it was so much better than waxing my eyebrows. I will definitely be back again!

I went there to get a tattoo and the artist messed it up which was very disappointing, I had been wanting it for years. Afterwards I went to pay and their system messed up so they made me pay twice and their management was extremely rude about it. Made my 18th a terrible day. Definitely don’t recommend going here.

I had to get my nose pierced again. Bell took care of me. Very sweet girl. She was very patient with me. I almost past out felt stupid. Bell was very sympathetic with me she never rushed me told me to lay down. Gave me water and a glucose tablet... highly recommend...

Came here for microblading, because I had thin eyebrows and tired of filling them in with makeup. The expensive procedure didn’t make much a difference. I didn’t want to give up on them, and made an appointment for my complimentary fill in. Showed up for the appointment and was told they made a goof in the scheduling so I’d have to come back next week. I drove all the way from Virginia Beach. They didn’t offer me anything for their error. Thanks for the wasted gas. Last but not least I treated my mom the the eyelashes for Christmas. She wasn’t satisfied with them, and they fell out super fast. If you live in Virginia Beach check out luxury nails 2 , they do very beautiful and natural eyelashes for $80. They last longer. Just don’t waste your time and money at body bar delux.Side note: my mom and I followed the instructions for the eyelash and eyebrow. So it’s not us it’s them.

Olivia did my nose piercing today and she was great! she explained everything from the different types of metal for the piercing to the steps of actually getting pierced. It didnt even hurt, felt more like a shot hut through my nose. I will definitely come back for more piercings in the future and I hope I get Olivia again.

I went here to get eyelash extensions ... I have never had extensions done .. BUT Ive worn strip lashes for years and am tired of the everyday hassle.Kali was VERY personable , and pleasant -The experience was painless and I am thrilled with tHe results - she was very patient with my many questions , and for such a young girl , she really knew what she was doing. I was a bit nervous when I saw how young she was , but I couldnt of been more wrong . The store was very clean , well decorated , and very inviting . The front desk ladies were great as well!I look forward to many future appointments , and Im going to be booking an appt for thier microblading/Ombré Brow services With Jessica tomorrow 😄I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for lashes , piercings or permanent makeup !

Recently got my ears and a cartilage piercing. My experience was good. I didnt have to wait long and the piercer was thorough. Customer service could have been a bit better. I paid about $80 for my piercings.

Way over hyped. It just felt like an empty store, theres more space being taken up by decorations than actual products. The home made products dont have and ingredient list which is just silly. Also I stood there a long time while the sales clerk helped someone else, she never even acknowledged my presence. Bottom line, if you want spa services go to a reputable place like Golden Touch and if you want jewelry and piercings just go to Finders Keepers they really are the best. I totally wasted my time and money at the Body Bore.

Went yesterday and got a daith and tragus piercing. The girl at the front desk was very informative about the piercings I wanted, the different types of metal I can choose from and what to clean my piercing with. The piercer was phenomenal. She did my daith first which was really smart because if she had done the tragus first it would of given me an unrealistic expectation on how the daith would feel. The daith was very painful for me but I dont regret it at all. The piercer made sure I was ready and my nerves were calm before she went on to the tragus. Tragus was quick and I love how they both look. I will be back again for more piercings in the future!

I absolutely love the staff. The environment is kept very clean. And they talk you through the piercing process. They give you options on color of piercing and type of metal. Ive gone to this piercing place 3 times name. I recommend them to anyone.. I got my tragus done today. I also got my septum and daith done here as well.

My piercer Oli was wonderful. She did both my sister and my daith piercing, which we both were anxious about getting repierced. However she talked us through every step and it was not nearly as much pain as when I had it pierced at a different place. This location offers different metals for your piercing and they also have a really good deal for your aftercare products. If I decide to get pierced again, I will probably come here.

Super nice and helpful! The studio was clean and the lady who pierced me explained everything before thoroughly. I got a bit nauseous afterwards, but they took good care of me and made sure I was okay. Thanks guys 😊

Half my lashes fell off after the first day. I asked for a refund in which they refused although I had images and they had seen the lash fall off first hand. After hours of arguing with them, they finally offered to try it again. But the lashes were such poor quality that they didn’t even stick a second time. They became extremely rude and disrespectful when i told them it happened again. I do not recommend this place especially because of their outrageous prices for such horrible work and lack of customer service. I’ve done my lashes before and this has never happened to me.

Everyone here was very friendly and super informative! You should definitely give them a visit. I asked a lot of questions and they were pretty cool about answering them. I also learnt quite a bit from the piercer. I got my nose, took, and two cartilage ear piercings done there. I DEFINITELY recommend!

The staff at this place are very rude. My daughter went in and got piercings done here and both were infected. The instruments used were probably not sanitized properly. We went back to get some help and the woman there were very nasty and really unhelpful. We had to remove the piercings completely. Such a bad investment into this place. A waste of time and money. If I can give it ZERO stars I would.

I was transitioning from lash extensions to a lift and tint for a more natural look and to have less upkeep and kali did an amazing job! She always makes sure you are totally comfortable and the results were exactly what I was looking for. If you need extensions or a lift go see kali and the girls at Body Bar! They have the best staff and the best lash techs!

Was nervous at first because its my first piercing since I was a baby. The staff was friendly and supportive, gave me tips on if I needed to hide it at work. Very clean place and fun atmosphere.

Jessica was WONDERFUL. she pierced my six year old daughters ears and couldnt have been lovelier. She was patient and kind. She explained the process multiple times to ease my kids concerns. I wanted to hug her.

The MOST RUDE “HUMANS” in the world. They treated me and my kids as piece of sh….. They were very rude and made us embarrassed in front of full store talking loud to us, just to tell us, that no kids where aloud. I’ve done piercings before with this place, BUT NEVER AGAIN.

Me and my friends piercings were all pierced incorrectly and all rejected. I would not reccomend this place to anyone who cares about their body.

The lady that did my piercing (young, dark hair) was very nice and patient. I went in again recently to but jewelry for my nose and the lady (ginger, lighter eyebrows)was very rude. Very bad customer service.

My friend went here to get her ear pierced and she is VERY particular. She had one ear that had been pierced incorrectly in the past. Oli was incredibly precise and professional. She took the time to explain and demonstrate how she would do the piercing to properly to disguise the old piercing. Oli NAILED IT! The new piercing looks so perfect you cant even tell it was done incorrectly before! You should definitely go here and ask for Oli!

The whole staff is super friendly, knowledgeable about their craft, and good at what they do. Iva did my tattoo, and Im super happy with it.

The young lady at the front desk with the long hair is absolutely rude and needs to be taught a lesson on customer service came I in for a piercing and she responded, let me check and make sure that she (the piercer) does that one & let her know that I had called prior to verify and she responded OK if you say so, absolutely rude will never patronize this establishment

Belle pierced me. It was a great experience, they also answer any and all questions we may have. A week later and everything is healing amazing.

Ladies were extremely rude to me and my family, which I do not appreciate. They were pushy and acted irritated towards us. Not to mention the piercer did not pierce where the purple dot was..Will not be returning to upgrade our nose rings when they heal.

I went to get a new hoop for my nose and the lady that helped told me for sure that the one she gave me would fit, she didn’t offer to change it in the store and told me I couldn’t change it in the store. I went home and changed it and it was very big, didn’t fit my nose at all. I called the store and they told me I would have to buy all new jewelry although it wasn’t my fault their worker told me wrong. I’m very disappointed and don’t recommend anyone get jewelry from this place.

The staff was not very inviting and rather standoffish. They did not clean or sanitize their hands before messing with jewelry. When inserting jewelry they again didn’t wash their hands and through on latex gloves. They did not sanitize jewelry before inserting it either, they dropped an unmarked liquid on it before hand but no autoclave or santization from touching it with bare hands to putting it in.

Piercings have always been great here however I recently got a tattoo and the artist was extremely heavy handed, spotty , and my tattoo healed horribly . I have other tattoos so I know how to make them heal and stay nice but no matter what I tried this one was just too much on my skin .My skin is raised completely over the entire piece and some spots scabbed up bad and bleed for a bit . I think it just needs to be redone or covered up .

Went in for a nose piercing a few days ago. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and atmosphere was soothing and eclectic. Will definitely be back for more!

I got my nose pierced from has not got infections or nothing they taught me how to keep it clean and very nice and talk to me the whole time i hope they do nipples pierced.

Got my septum pierced here, I was nervous and the staff made me feel calm and better about it and they did it fast and it didn’t hurt either, and my septum ring looks dope af, thanks for everything 🔥
