I’ve never been big into skincare. I was always a water on the face girl and no make up. Working in a hospital and going into my 40s has changed my outlook. I have done things here and there for facials with Kristen and her ladies but once I started getting red from masking again all day at work I had to correct this. The ladies at skin chic got me hooked in December with a custom facial and I started an at home skin regimen with products I got from The Skin Chic. They have worked wonders for my redness. I also(being 42) jumped on microneedling. I just finished my 3rd one a few weeks ago in the 3 series and the difference in my skin is phenomenal. Microneedling is my new jam. Now I will go every 6mo for a session to keep my skins collagen up and hopefully never Dysport again! Of course other things in between such as dermaplane and hypercustomized facials and all the other goodies they offer! Ive been going to Kristin for about 5 years now. Shes the only person i have ever gone to for my skin and Im so glad i started and have continued my skin journey with her. I started out doing hydra facials and have since done the skin pen (which I LOVE the results from) along with the Enzyme treatment to follow and most recently have done a lash lift and 3x of the Picosure Pro laser. Im 36 now going on 37 and my skin looks better now than ever. Clients are always shocked when i tell them how old my kids are and how old i am, which feels so good! I knew with my acne scarring, I needed microneedling, but I was terrified after the experience I had at another place locally (VB) in 2022. The staff at Skin Chic was more than knowledgeable, kind, and patient with all my questions and concerns. Ive had two sessions of microneedling, six weeks apart, and the experience has truly been less traumatizing and less painful than my very first experience at the other spa here. From going through my current routine, to explaining the procedure, benefits, and proper aftercare, the experience has been wonderful. They even provided a small bag of aftercare to ensure proper healing. They truly know skin inside and out, and as someone who has been to multiple spas in the past few years, I have never been as educated about skin as I was here at the skin chic.

I went in for the 2 hour consult. The owner looked at my skin & told me exactly what I needed to do to get the results I wanted. She came up with a 3 month plan & then a long term plan. I didnt hesitate to go with her suggestion (I came in with idea of costs already), after my first micro-needling my face is already 100x improvement!!!I dont have major skin issues and dont have a lot of signs of aging, but I did know I could enhance my natural features & prevent future aging. My skin at the time was congested, dull, and had some texture. I suffered acne as a teen and adult hood using accutane in my early twenties. So in my mind I always saw some scarring from the acne that I had when I was young. Kristen got me on the right products that penetrated my skin. I go every month for a treatment from hydra facial, microneedling , the “works” etc. I get so many compliments on my skin that I was never used to getting. Ive been getting facials from Kristen for a few years now and she is amazing! She is so professional and knowledgeable. Ive tried most of the treatments she offers and they are all wonderful - she will help guide you and let you know what your skin needs!!

Let me start with the facial and staff are great. But unfortunately, they seem unbelievably disorganized. I called two weeks ahead of time and my appointment was never recorded. Thank goodness I called the day before to confirm. However, despite confirming, I showed up to an office that was under construction. I was asked to sit on a plastic wrapped chair, the room wasn’t fully stocked, and my facial was interrupted by contractors discussing business. And the kicker— I booked a facial, Botox(by far the most important part of the appointment) and derma-planning. I finished my facial and the girl who does Botox is out of the country. My dermaplane wasn’t good and I’ll have to do the missed areas myself now. Sorry but the $600 I spent on a facial, a bad dermaplane and 1 product was completely overshadowed by the obvious lack of respect for me and my spa day. My heart hurts for spending so much money and being mislead by the staff. If they’d been honest up front, this review wouldn’t exist. I would have known my appointment was going to be in a construction zone and I would have planned another place for Botox. Don’t trust them.
