I cannot say enough good things about this studio! I love the website design. They have all the artists instagrams linked so you can easily get a feel for the style and strengths of each artist. When my partner and I arrived, we LOVED the plants. The whole studio was beautifully decorated and felt so cozy. The rainbow heart macrame and abortion donation signs were a huge plus for us too; we knew we were with our people and in an inclusive, welcoming space. Those vibes continued through all of the interactions with front desk staff and artists. Everyone was incredibly kind, encouraging, and fun to talk to. I watched my artist set up the station, so I knew the needles, gloves, cups, etc. were all clean and sterile. They gave great after care advice and Mike did a perfect job memorializing my pet in the style I wanted. My partner was thrilled with the linework and detail in his Halloween town keyblade. We both HIGHLY recommend this studio for all your tattoo/piercing needs.

My wife and I both got tattoos today, and she got one here a couple years ago. The staff, artists, and general vibe are awesome!!I will highly recommend this place to anyone in, or around Virginia Beach who is looking to get a tattoo!!!

Had an incredible experience here. Consulted with Linsey about a month ago, and expressed that I wanted a micro realism sleeve and wanted her to show her creativity. I really didn’t have much of a guideline for her, other than a greek religious piece. Let me just say, she absolutely killed it!! So insanely detailed and beautiful. My overall experience at the shop with all the staff was nothing short of phenomenal. Thank you to the Collective Tattoo. Highly recommended.

I’ve been going to The Collective now since 2011-2012. The owners are very friendly and always make me feel welcomed. The receptionists are very accommodating to any scheduling conflicts I may have. Currently, I’m getting tattooed from Chad and have been for a few years now. He always listens to my tattoo ideas and offers advice on how to best execute them. I highly recommend going to The Collective.

Got my first (and dream) tattoos done here, and the service was fast, excellent, and superbly clean. My artist was Eric and he delivered some designs that were really great. Overall, exactly what I wanted and well priced. The staff was super nice and very helpful. Over all, a wonderful experience.

Amazing for walk-ins! I was part of a group that wanted to get tattoos together and this shop made it so easy to do!We showed up to get on the waiting list, and then scheduled a time to come back later in the day. Each person in our group was paired with an amazing artist who did our tattoos. It was so fun to see everyone’s work.I had Lindsey as an artist and she did an incredible job. I initially thought I just wanted line work, but I think that the shading she suggested added so much to this piece.Also — my tattoo is healing so well, her touch was super gentle.Everyone in the shop was super friendly, understanding, and very chill. Everything in the shop was very clean and clean the decor was really inviting and homey. I would absolutely go back here!Shout out to reception who had lovely people working to answer all my questions before our group came in. So helpful and informative!

Love this place and the staff. Very friendly staff!!!! I am in the process of getting a sleeve on my right arm. Every time I come in the staff are quick to recognize me and make the interaction amazing. Chad is my artist, he is very professional and knows his craft. He is very responsive to ideas you have and offers you the best way to see your vision. He offers you several different viewpoints, and lets you choose the best way to move forward. He is very interactive with you while you are in the chair. He is always concerned with your comfort level. Super nice guy that wants you to have the best experience possible. His talent is off the charts. I would recommend Chad to anyone.

Amazing.The shop: Filled with plants, crystals and jewelry. Cozy velvet seating with a steam punk vibe. Gorgeous light fixtures throughout the shop. You can that this shop is a labor of love. Dave and Melissa are very talented and good at what they do.Each artist has their own private room! Very clean facility.Artists and employees: No Rockstar attitudes here. Everyone is humble and kind. They treat each other like family, and there is no drama! Each artist is very talented. They host traveling artists, and have a few resident artists to suit every style. Do not hesitate to book here, you will not be disappointed.

Everyone is so nice and helpful. The seating area is very comfy. Ryan pierced my nose and I have an awful pain tolerance and the pain was actually a 1/10. It was so quick and easy. I’d say my earlobes hurt more than getting my nose done here. Amazing experience. Would recommend to anyone.

I have been to this place numerous times. I have a full back and left arm sleeve completed here. Not only has Chad done impeccable work and has been respectful and works with the ideas of his clients and with what, in his professional opinion, should be done in order to make great long lasting tattoos. Although I have I seen Chad work, but I’ve seen dozens of clients work from all the artists there and they have been nothing but professional and enjoyable people to be around. The desk service is second to none and I couldn’t be happier with all of their services.

My friends and I went here to get some walk in tattoos done while in Virginia Beach on vacation and this was a great experience from a tattoo shop. The artists were super friendly and did some awesome tattoos. If you’re in the area I highly recommend, everyone was so nice and accommodating to what we were looking to get done, truly a great shop!

Amazing!!! Kristy was so awesome and easy going with giving my son and I piercings. Their inclusive atmosphere and phenomenal staff who literally helped me pick out the most meaningful earring, was the kindest Ive ever met. Bravo to having such a warm hug feeling the second you walk in the door. Tattoos and piercings dont scare me. People with closed minds and hateful attitudes do.

This shop is by far the best in the area! The staff is amazing. The shop is gorgeous and beautifully designed with welcoming staff from the front desk to the artists. I have had several tattoos done recently with Morgon, who is a crazy talented and sweet artist! They did such wonderful work each time! I scheduled three more separate sessions when I left, I was hooked- Morgon is an absolute genius, most of the work was hand drawn- I was stunned. I tell everyone I know to come to this shop. I even have a friend desiring to travel out of town for Morgon because the work is incredible. They make you feel like family here. You come in meeting a tattoo artist but leave with a new friend! ✨

My friends and I were on vacation on a girls trip in Virginia Beach and we wanted to get tattoos. We knew it would be hard for 4 of us to just walk in somewhere but when we got to Collective they were soooo kind and accommodating and got us in and out in like an hour! We got very lucky because there had been a cancellation that day and extra staff on hand. They could not have been nicer! The girl up front was so fun and had the best energy! The girl who did my tattoo was kickass and super sweet and everyone was saying how cute my tattoo design was! Such a pretty studio and such a cool vibe! Definitely will be back if were ever around there again! Thank you to all the super awesome staff there! You all rock :)

By far my favorite Tattoo/Piercing spot in Virginia Beach. The team is so professional and talented. The minute you walk in they are super welcoming. I love the esthetics of the studio. They know how to move walk-ins pretty fast too.Upon first impressions, the studio is very well decorated and laid out inside. They really thought of every single detail of the studio. Every artist has their own room. All the rooms have huge barn doors. The artist gets to decorate their own rooms. In the back is huge drawing room for the artist with access to several restrooms. In the front there is a public computer for people to search for designs. There is also ample amount of seating inside and outside.My husband and I did walk-ins for ring finger tattoos. They really get walk-ins moving quickly so you wont be waiting long. The minute I walked in there were 6 people ahead of me but they were able to give me an estimated time frame and put me in the system so that they could text me when they were ready for me. I was able to leave the studio and still keep my place in line. They estimated 2 hours so the minute I came back I got my text which was really on point.Chipi was an experienced artist new to the studio. He drafted up my vision and it really matched what I was envisioning. He was very professional, very cool to talk to and his work was on point.While I was waiting for my husband to get his tattoo, I watched them quickly get folks in and out. I was able to talk to the front desk and ask about piercing and such and they were so nice and informative all while having clients.I love this studio I dont think Ill go anywhere else but here.

Got piercings done by Ryan Provido! Wonderful experience. Ryan talked to me the whole time and got me through my piercing experience without any problems. Everyone that Ive met here is wonderful. This place is clean, has a great atmosphere, and the staff is very knowledgeable. Love this place and I highly recommend them.

This shop and the ppl who work & run it are awesome! The shop is laid out and decorated beautifully. Super clean and homey. A group of us walked in on a Sunday looking for a family tattoo. We were greeted warmly and they got right to helping us design a piece that worked for all of us. Our artist Mike was patient and kind, taking the time to listen to our needs and concerns. He rocks! 6 of us sat with him to get our piece done. His line work is so on point! Everyone of us left knowing that wed be back for more

This shop is awesome! Me and my family wanted to walk in and get tattoos and they were so accommodating. Everyone got a tattoo and my sister and i decided to get spur of the moment piercings which they fit us in right away for. 10/10 would come back if i’m ever in the area again.

My sister, mom, and I recently made an impulsive decision to get matching tattoos while celebrating my birthday a couple of weeks ago. We had spent the day at a brewery and couldn’t decide on what we wanted or where to go, so we thought we would wait until our next day off. Of course something came up and we pushed it even further. We decided that if we were going to get something meaningful, we really wanted to work with artists who fit our vision.After a couple of weeks of searching the web for the perfect tattoo shop, we looked at several places that just didn’t quite hit the mark. Each place had its merits, but something always felt a bit off. That’s when my sister sent me Linsey’s instagram. Her vibe was exactly what we envisioned. Delicate, precise, line-work and the capacity to get a little silly. It didn’t seem like she would make us feel like our designs were stupid. We found out that Linsey made herself available for walk-ins on the day we wanted, so it seemed kismet. Obviously we didn’t have an appointment, so we woke up early to make sure we could get there right at open as we were driving from North Carolina.From the moment we walked through the door, I knew we had found something special. The shop exudes a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel at ease. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and took the time to chat about our plans for the tattoos, the placement, and how long it would take. They were realistic about time and price. There was a little bit of a wait, so we went to lunch and emailed the designs I sketched out. After about an hour we returned for a brief consult with Linsey who made time to look over our vision for the tattoos. She offered thoughtful, logical advice and suggested changes that didn’t compromise the integrity of the design. Since the tattoos would take longer than we expected (especially my sisters) she proposed that we let another artist in on the action. She told us that Michael was a great artist whose style was similar to hers. While she worked on my sister’s tattoo, Michael worked on my mother’s. His line work was incredible and my mom said it didn’t even hurt.I was up next. Michael consulted me on what I wanted and made me feel validated in my ideas. He was able to keep some of the finer details I thought I would lose. I’ve been to a lot of shops where the artists were condescending and have been made to feel like I had to go with their suggestions. At The Collective, I was made to feel like I had autonomy over what I wanted on my body. Michael was genuinely great guy too. He was easy to talk to and joke around with and was authentically interested in what I had to say. I even got to briefly meet his wife and their son (the cutest baby ever).The owner of the shop stopped in the room and told me how awesome my family was and praised my mother and I for working in healthcare. You could tell that he legitimately cares about his shop’s clients and the team he has built in the shop. Everyone felt like a big family and made you feel like you were family too.This wasn’t just another tattoo, the professionalism and artistry at The Collective Tattoo are exceptional. Our tattoo artists were not only skilled but also incredibly personable, making sure every detail was perfect and that we felt comfortable throughout the process. The final result exceeded our expectations, and the entire experience was a testament to their dedication to both their craft and their clients.Their blend of expertise, cleanliness, friendly service, and welcoming environment makes them stand out as a refreshing top choice. We will go back time and time again and sing their praises to anyone willing to listen.

Super clean and well decorated place! The front desk was very nice and helpful with checking me in. I booked a septum with Ryan after reading mostly good reviews, but I got a weird vibe from him like he was annoyed I was there. He was very short to me when describing the process, the potential for it to hang a certain way “there’s nothing I can do about that”, and with the healing process. Bummed me out because after reading the reviews it seemed personal against me as others wrote about great experiences. Is it because I’m black?? 😅 (kidding, but also… 🥲)I did end up emailing to get clarification about the aftercare (as I could tell he didn’t really want to talk to me) and Kelso who responded was very friendly!

I recently got an amazing tattoo done here by one of their guest artist, @reaganmauldintattoos, and absolutely love it!!This studio was by far the most caring, clean, and professional place Ive ever been to. I was able to meet a few of the staff members and the owner. They were so nice and easy going! I felt instantly comfortable🖤(unlike other studios that make you feel like your in an assembly line)10 out of 10 in my opinion!!Cant wait to go back for more!!Thank you @thecollectivetattoo!!

This is my favorite shop in the Hampton Roads. The artists are all so talented, kind, and honest. The staff is inclusive and welcoming, and they always make you feel safe and heard. Morgon Smith was my artist for my 5-session cover-up, and they were one of the most professional and fun people to work with. Theyre incredibly talented, as are all the artists here, but I will definitely be back for Morgon!

I went in on a Saturday and got on the waitlist. I was texted about 3 hours later to come in (really nice to not have to wait in-shop!) Morgan was great, telling me honestly that the idea I’d come up with wouldn’t last/hold up well. She worked with me to design a set of “gloves” and I was out of there in about 2 hours. Will definitely be back to get more ink from her, she was very fun to work with (despite her odd choice in music 🤭) I love my magic hands!

I have had multiple good experiences at this shop. I had my septum and right daith pieced by Kristy and have been tattooed by Linsey and Eric and have been extremely happy with the results. All of those individuals were professional and courteous. However, when I went to get my left daith pierced by Ryan, I had a very different experience. He seemed frustrated by me being there the entire time and was rough and short with me the entire time. My right daith did not bleed when pierced, but my left daith bled significantly during piercing. My left daith ended up getting severely infected to the point of having a fever and I had to go to Urgent Care to get antibiotics. When I went to the shop to tell them this, the response I received was, “You signed a waiver saying this could happen” with no acknowledgment or empathy. After six months of this piercing not healing, I had a piercer from a different shop look at it and she said that it should be pulled immediately because the piercing had been done too shallow and would eventually migrate out of my daith. After paying almost $200 for this piercing after jewelry and tip, this was disappointing to say the least.

My daughter and I came in last weekend as walk-ins. We both had fairly complex designs. We waited our turn in a gorgeous plant filled, pressed tin ceiling, velvety old vibing high back couch , exquisite waiting area. All the staff at the front were polite, pleasant and helpful. When an artist was ready for each of us we went on back where its just as lovely as the front of the place. Lindsey was my artist and she did not disappoint! She worked on my idea awhile to make it appropriate as a tattoo. She far exceeded my expectations on my peice and I gave her artistic freedom to make it perfect in her opinion as well as mine. We also made plans for a future project! Shes absolute perfection : kind, gentle, so artistic, a delicate touch, and fun! Cant wait to go back. My daughters experience was equally amazing, but Ill let her tell hers! Love to The Collective! Thanks! KayBooks

I love my piercing its healing wonderfully with very little pain and Im down to no pain now and its been about 2 weeks. The shop was decorated beautifully and it felt very homey. It was a great place and I definitely plan to revisit for all of my tats and piercings.

Went to get a tattoo and the stuff is definitely amazing. The shop was very clean and everyone was great. While getting my tattoo the artist kept making sure I was alright and asking if I need a drink or anything. I would definitely recommend this place.

Ryan is absolutely amazing! Not only did he pierce my nipples (for the third time) which didnt hurt, he was quick and efficient and walked me through every step. He’s also did my septum and just did my conch on both ears, and he made them even ;) 5 STARS for Ryan! Also, thank you for not counting before you stabbed me. I much appreciate it!

Great place!!! The front desk was very helpful and nice. James did my tattoo, took his time, and did a great job! I was there on a Saturday, and they were busy, but they took their time and handled everyone’s questions and appointments with a professional approach

This place has weird vibes. Two of the workers we had direct experiences just seemed like we were wasting their time or they could be elsewhere. One was a tattoo artist that did not give any artistic feedback at the consultation and was willing to just copy paste a reference drawing lol. Feels a bit scammy too with the deposit policy.

I enjoyed the experience. Everybody was very professional, and it was super fast. I love the prices. They are very reasonable. The whole vibe of the store is very comforting, and I felt super comfortable with the person who did the piercing for me.

Im super happy with my new Tattoo. Linsey did a great job and I am beyond grateful that Kathy recommended I go to Linsey. The store is clean and everyone there is super nice. The price is fair. Linsey took a lot of time with me so that my cats could be realistically recognized in the Tattoo.I am very impressed with how she nailed the details. 😃

I got my nostril pierced here and my experience with Kristy has been phenomenal. Shes very kind, patiently answered all of my questions, and my initial piercing appointment was done so quickly and efficiently I was in and out of the studio in what felt like ten minutes.

A friend of mine had a beautiful tattoo that still looked great several years after it was done. I asked her where she got it done and she told me that Scott did it at trilogy, so I headed there for my next tattoo. I was very pleased by the experience. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. I like that they have a system to text you when its your turn so you dont have to sit around all day waiting. We headed to Dave & Busters and came back after an hour. Scott prepped and inked me very quickly. It was definitely the fastest Ive ever been tatted and it looks great. The line work and shading were amazing. I brought a friend with me and we both got a discount. I do wish he would have given after care instructions. He probably didnt only because I already have several tats but its been a few years since my last one so I would have liked a refresher. Overall, I had a great experience and will probably go back again.

So today we all did a thing! Making my young queen birthday more memorable for her SWEET 16 BIRTHDAY‼ We got our nose pierced! After the scavenger hunt on finding the place because they recently switched locations we had a great time. The staff was super professional, informative, and clean. Ryan our piercer was nothing short of being completely amazing‼ Today was a success her smile was everything I needed. 🙂

My sisters and I came in for matching designs during their walk in sessions today, and they were able to get all four of us done. Michael was very nice and approachable, making sure we were comfortable while he was working on us, taking a break if needed. He kept a very relaxed attitude and it was an overall great experience, especially for the two of us who were getting our first tattoos. Highly recommend.

My Artist for my last several and many future tattoos is Chad. The entire experience has been nothing short of perfect! He does amazing work, extremely talented, and makes it super personal. He has also been extremely helpful with adjusting length of appointments and super gracious with pay to work with my budget. This shop is amazing, clean, all the people are awesome, and definitely my go to spot for all my future tattoos.

I was fortunate enough to get a piece done here last week and I had an amazing experience. All of the staff is very helpful and genuinely kind. Walking in, you can just tell that the vibe is right and that youre in good hands. Everything is well decorated, clean, and just downright cool. I was looking to get a relatively large tattoo on my arm, so I set up a consultation appointment with Michael. We spent some time going over what I was looking for and scheduling the tattoo appointment. When I came in to get the tattoo done, we spent a while making sure the stencil was exactly in the right place and that the piece would be exactly what I wanted. I really appreciated the attention to detail and care from not only Michael, but other artists in the shop that were happy to stop by and check in. When tattooing, Michael was engaging and very personable making me feel as comfortable as possible. He ended up staying quite a bit later than we both expected and on the day before Thanksgiving! Even days later, checking in on the healing process. I could not recommend this shop more. From beginning to end, the best experience Ive had getting a tattoo done so far.(Picture is of my tattoo right after is was done, it is fresh)

I just got my nosed pierced there. The staff was lovely and patient because I was very nervous. They helped me find the perfect stud and even anodized it so it would be the color I wanted (gold). The piercing itself was quick and almost painless. Ive had zero issues and no pain and Im really happy.

This place is amazing. The decor is the best and the staff is genuine, informative and true to their craft. We have been to Kristy 4 times. 3 nose piercings and this latest beauty!!

Had a tattoo done here a couple years ago as a walk-in spur of the moment thing. Had such a good experience that when my 4 sisters and I decided we wanted matching tattoos, this was the place that came to mind. Prices are great, artists are even better, and the whole process felt like we were valued. They walked us through the best way to make an appointment or what day would be best to come in as a walk-in. Michael tattooed all of us and was so amazing. Made us all feel comfortable and did absolutely beautiful work.

My artist and actual tattoo experience was great... Morgan. Hearts. She was wonderful. 5 stars for Morgan. But do read the low ratings on the business as well. I will go back to Morgan at collective. But there are awkward admin issues with the business. I went online what I thought was well in advance. Had to pay in advance for an appointment which I chose online later to find out they were booked that day... But could take walk ins.. just weird. So they said they started walk-ins at 4pm... Which is misleading. They seem to take walk-ins when the artists are there and ready for walk-ins which could be anytime after they open apparently. So I said fine... Showed up at 10am to get on walk in wait list... Which I was told was about 4ish. I rearranged my work schedule to be there by 3.30. got a text right after 2 to see if I was coming or wanted to cancel. I mean I get they are providing a sought after service. But it just seemed the desk was a bit pound sand. That said I just was there for a quick tat. I LOVE Morgan ... She was brilliant and lovely and caring. The ambience is nice and super clean and comfortable... And I will follow Morgan if she leaves

My daughter, aunt and i all went to get tattoos of arrows. They turned out great!! I got even luckier when an opening came about so i could get my flowers tattooed the next day!!! I absolutely love ❤️ it!!! Anthony and Olivia thank you!!

I absolutely LOVE collective tattoo shop! I found it about a year ago when I got an itch to get my nose pierced, when I went in, it was nothing like the other tattoo shops I had been to. It was warm, welcoming, clean, and all the people are so sweet, someone’s always either laughing or smiling, my tattoo artist is Morgan and I love her to pieces she’s done 4 of my tattoos and they are all stunning. I live about an hour away and my parents always ask why I drive that far when there are plenty of tattoo shops closer? I went to The Collective after work yesterday in search of new navel jewelry and they did not disappoint! My current jewelry had been causing me to have an allergic reaction and through their website I found out that all their jewelry is titanium - just what I was looking for. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and helped right away. I didn’t catch her name but the lady who was helping me was super nice and helpful and listened to my problem with my current jewelry and even price checked the rings I was looking at. They set me up with my email and phone number so if I were to come back I was already in the system, which was something I greatly appreciated. The ring is beautiful and probably the best ring I’ve ever had, I can already notice the improvements. I will definitely consider them in the future for any tattoo/piercing needs.

Wow wow wow!! Got recommended this place by a friend. We came in as walkins this Sunday and received not only incredible tattoos but wonderful service. Everyone was so accommodating welcoming and kind. They had beverages and clean amenities and the space was so cozy and really well decorated. Tommy ray did my tattoo and did a spectacular job! He helped with placement and personalized it so that it was even better than I imagined. He helped make my experience so comfortable and I had a lovely conversation while getting my tattoo. I would recommend this place to anyone and I’ll definitely be going back.

I went to this tattoo shop as a walk in, there was a bit of a line ahead of me but nothing too bad. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and nice about what I wanted to get one. My artist, Michael was extremely talented with a tattoo gun. I was so impressed on how it turned out for a cover up. We were able to discuss the best way to orient it so it still covers up my underlying tattoo. I will definitely come here again for future tattoos.

Went in and had eric dude was super chill and did amazing job with my tattoo for my first time def would go again, people at front desk were super nice and very understanding, owner really cool dude as well.

Gave him a reference photo for the tattoo I wanted, he started freehanding my tattoo without any notice and never asked me any questions. I went into it with an open mind bc maybe he knew what he was doing so I trusted him… but no. Tattoo looks nothing like what I asked for and I wish I said something before he started tattooing on me. Now it’s permanent and now I feel and look dumb.

Great experience all around. Joe does great work and is easy going. Light environment, very clean shop, the owner even took time to interact. Definitely recommend and will be back. Got no problem spending my money in a place like this :)

Lived in Virginia Beach for a while and find an excuse to visit just to come here for my piercing. Ryan has done all of my piercings and I have never had an issue with healing or pain. He is fast and precise. The jewelry is high quality which helped the healing process and looks nicer

Linsey is the BEST! I live in Iowa. Linsey did one of my tattoos at home. Unfortunately for me, she moved to Virginia. It so happened that I took a little vacation to visit my best friend in Virgina. We drove 5.5 hours to see Virginia Beach, but most of all, to have Linsey add to my tatted arm. She did an amazing job on my chicken. She took my own photo and worked her magic. Thank you, Linsey, for the art!The shop is very beautiful and clean too! I love all the plants they have, adds a very nice touch.

Went in kinda late Saturday and scheduled an appt for Sunday afternoon for a piercing. The ladies behind the counter were very friendly and super helpful. Great atmosphere.Kristy was the one who performed the piercing. She answered all my questions and gave additional info. It may be TMI, but for anyone who is curious or on the fence about one, it was a gen!tal piercing. I would recommend her. Very professional.

My tattoo experience today at The Collective Tattoo & Body Piercing was my first time going there. The place is clean and Everyone was very nice and professional. For a Saturday walk in, I didnt feel I waited too long at all and was checked in fairly quickly being that a few people were already there ahead of me. After stating what I was wanting, they put me with artist Geo. Tho nervous going in, I soon was put at ease.... not just by him being a cool guy but by his talent, skill and eye for detail. He took the time to listen to me and with his knowledge, he came up with a concept much better and sharper than the examples I had with me. I appreciated his suggestions along the way that added the extra pops to the piece. I love my tattoo!! He truly takes pride in the work he does. I highly recommend him and will DEFINITELY go back to him in the future!

I had the pleasure of having a tattoo done by Lindsey. I went in and asked for a cute bat. She designed it from start to finish, colors everything. I have gotten two tattoos by Clay and my conch pierced at this location. The shop is beautiful and spotless every time I go in. Everyone is welcoming. If you don’t have an artist in mind, they’re great about suggesting who would be best in regards to what you want. I always recommend The Collective for tattoos and piercings when anyone asks for suggestions. I plan to go back for more soon.

My artist here is Clay Thames and he is the absolute best. He is a very talented artist and he makes every effort to ensure the tattoo process is as comfortable as possible for me. I will always choose to go to this establishment for my tattoos and piercings while here in VA! I have come in multiple times for 3 separate tattoos and many piercings! Never once have I had a bad experience. Everyone is so nice and helpful! I never feel out of place asking new questions, no matter who you talk to all the staff is super knowledgeable and they WANT to help you it’s almost as if you’re there talking with your friends.I feel like part of the family when I walk through the doors! I’ve gotten a few tattoos from here over a matter of five years since they were Trilogy Tattoo inside Lynnhaven Mall.Their tattoos are excellent. Their number of artists is always in the teens with varying styles to match whatever you wish. They have their gumball machine “get what you get” tattoos as an option. They are one of the only walk-in shops in Hampton Roads.Their facility is well kept, incredibly clean, and vast enough that artists have their own rooms. Their piercers are professional and work with precision, as judged by my wife who has gotten two piercings here. The staff has always been friendly. To finish off, they could charge extortion prices for everything that has been previously mentioned, but their prices are friendly for all budgets. We will likely never venture to any other shop in Hampton Roads.

My experience here has been great! I not only get my piercing done here, but I also got my very first tattoo here as well. Morgon, tattoo artist, was amazing! She listened to what I wanted during my consultation and began to embark on the 15-25 hour artistic event on my back! I wanted to capture my garden of peace and she did a phenomenal job! The butterfly, dragonfly, red throated, hummingbird, butterfly, bush, both of my hibiscus orchid and bleeding heart for a beautifully done! Can’t recommend her enough and the staff there is amazing!!!

Chad is a phenomenal artist and a true master of his craft. I couldnt be more pleased with his work. I started with Chad on a thigh piece a few years ago then had him complete an entire sleeve. We are now working on a leg sleeve with some huge detailed pieces. He sees my vision and offered his expert knowledge to help me pull it together. I get compliments on my artwork everywhere I go. The shop is impeccably clean and everyone that works there is amazing! I will hands down always recommend this shop to anyone. Plus, he’s a great conversationalist and it is always a fun time getting work done with Chad!

Absolutely loved my tattoo experience! I was a walk in on a Sunday and the front desk receptionists were so kind. I showed them a photo of what I wanted and they assigned me to Linsey! I arrived as soon as the shop opened, so my wait time was only about 20 ish minutes. Linsey is FANTASTIC with flowers and flower arrangements, which is exactly what I wanted. This was my first tattoo ever, so naturally I was nervous, but Linsey helped me feel totally at ease. Shes a master, I totally recommend her if youre looking for flower pieces!

Traveled from MD to get a piece done by visiting artist, Dominick Taylor, and was so impressed with this tattoo shop! The staff was AMAZING and so friendly. There were so many talented artists there. The place was super clean and cozy. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Just got done getting a tattoo here and the place is amazing! From the moment I walked in the vibes were so great. Kelso is an absolute dream! She was so sweet and worked hard with me to be able to get in while I was in town. My artist was Linsey and she was so open minded and sweet my tattoo turned out perfect! I couldn’t ask for better. While I was in the owner Dave came by to introduce a new member of the team and stood and talked with us for a while. Then got to speak to him again as I was leaving. He checked out my tattoo and shook my hand. The friendliness of this place is out of this world. If I could give ten stars I would!

Went in yesterday and saw Kristy Ross for piercings. She was amazing. My piercings are perfect and I’m so happy with the service but also her in general. She took her time and gave me as much time as needed to get calm and centered. She was understanding and compassionate as well as patient with me. Could not have asked for a better experience and a better person to have done it. I will be recommending her to everyone for their piercing needs. Hell of a good piercer and exactly the calming energy you’d want if you’re nervous in any way. Thank you again Kristy! Also the overall vibe here in general is immaculate. Everyone was incredibly nice. The place itself is beautiful. And you feel welcomed from the minute you walk in the door. I cannot recommend Ryan enough for piercing - he has pierced me probably 1-2 dozen times in the past few years and every experience is what you would want when trusting someone to pierce your body. He’s knowledgeable, highly professional, and has the smoothest touch with a needle.

I went randomly on the 21st just to get a tattoo bc you know why not and it turned out so good!! i ended up going the next day (22nd) to get a piece done that i’ve been looking to get done for awhile and IM IN LOVE WITH IT!!! the artist Michael did so amazingly well on both pieces he did for me! super friendly and laid back and definitely super talented with his work!!

The young woman at the front desk (with the dark hair and upper & lower mid lip piercings) is always super friendly when checking me in for my tattoo appointments. She was very helpful when it came to me & my niece choosing our nose jewelry. Michael, my tattoo artist, is phenomenal! I started going to him while he was still in his apprenticeship & have been in love with his work ever since! Even when I’m just popping in to grab jewelry, he remembers who I am by first name basis! He even asks to check on his last piece of work he’d done on me to make sure I’m happy with the results. The owner of the shop -who just so happens to be Michaels father!- is always super chill & in great vibes. One time he even offered me a piece of pizza while I was getting work done. Hands down my forever shop & artist now!

So my initial experience here was amazing, the piercer was super nice and knowledgeable. This was back in June 23 when I went to get my nipples pierced. I was recommended to get the more expensive titanium jewelry because it was hyper allergenic and all this stuff. Today Aug 23 this morning one of my titanium barbells snapped. I’ve had plenty of other piercings for years and have never even seen something like this happen, where a titanium piercing just snaps in half.So after calling and reaching out the store I was informed that there was nothing they could do and that I would just have to buy a new one.So when purchasing jewelry from here I’d recommend staying clear of there titanium jewelry.

Ive been to The Collective a handful of times (to get my ear pierced a few years back, and 2 tattoos by Michael now) and this has quickly become my favorite tattoo shop in the area. All staff from the front desk, to the piercer I had, to the owner and all of the tattoo artists that Ive met while there, are super helpful, professional, friendly and kind. My experience with staff alone has me recommending this place to all of my friends who want to get tattooed. Not to mention the beautiful decor and comfortable seating in the waiting area. They also have a gorgeous selection of body jewelry. Michael is doing some killer work and he is a blast/so easy to work with, so youd better get on his books fast! The Collective is a local gem; I cant wait to come back for the next one.

I did a walk in appointment yesterday for a tattoo, from the first face I saw, to the last face I saw everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming! My tattoo artist Mike was incredible! I had a vision of what I wanted and he made it happen! He paid close attention to every detail and the shading was on point. LOVE the way it turned out. The place looked and smelled clean, the artist made sure to open every package in front of me, which anyone that has gotten a tattoo can appreciate. I would definitely go back to Mike in the future and would 100% recommend him to anyone!

I came here for my first tattoo (Thank you Tim!) and not only did they do a fantastic job with the result but they also took the time to answer any questions I had for them. Anthony helped me greatly with getting in contact with an artist. Savannah, Tim, and a few others helped give me advice on tattoo aftercare and were very delighted to answer any of my questions with the healing process as well! I met Dave, the fantastic owner, too. Dave spoke so highly of his crew and seems so proud of his team and the art that they produce. Came here for a nose piercing, simple enough. The inside is MUCH bigger than you would think for a tattoo/piercing parlor, plenty of stalls to give every customer privacy when getting their tat/piercing done. The front desk people were very kind, knowledgable, and accommodating. They quickly showed me to their jewelry case to pick out my stud while telling me the pros and cons for each type. I even heard them helping other customers, and they were really on top of their knowledge of the products they sell and the services they provide. I arrived early for my appt, so I waited a few minutes, but once I went back, the whole process was probably 3-5 minutes tops, including disinfecting the area, piercing, and explaining aftercare. Checkout was super simple, and even though its pretty standard for piercings and tats, they were very grateful that I tipped. And on top of all of that, the nose piercing prices start at around 30-50% LOWER than almost every other shop in the area. Will definitely be going back for future piercings (maybe a tattoo if I browse through the artist portfolios).

I absolutely love the Collective Tattoo! I had to wait nearly a year for an appointment because they were so booked up, and it was 100% worth the wait! The space is always clean and the staff are very friendly and professional. My artist, Bennett Edwards, was amazing from start to finish. I didnt have a definite idea of what I wanted and had never gotten a tattoo that required multiple sessions, so he walked me through the process step by step. The individual artist spaces are comfortable and the artists take care to make sure customers have everything they need, including water and snacks. During each session, my artist regularly checked in with me to see if I needed a break or if I was uncomfortable at any time. The sessions were spaced out roughly one month each to make sure the tattoo was completely healed before adding more. The shop make sure to email me reminders about upcoming sessions and provided me with extensive aftercare instructions after each session completed. The pricing is reasonable considering the amount of time, effort, and ink that goes into the tattoos. Ill absolutely be going back for more tattoos in the future.

Olivia is an amazing artist and I recommend her 2000%. She worked with me to create a beautiful tattoo, even when references were hard to find. Every detail of the shop is meticulously done. From the moss wall, to the tin ceiling, the handcrafted bar top, the furniture, and the eclectic decor.. this place is not just “another clean shop”. You can tell that this shop is a place of great pride, not just for the owner but for every employee. We met the owner, who chatted with my husband and I for a bit, and what an amazing, cool dude he is! Nikki did my piercing and she was super chill… she was quick and calm. I was totally fine, but I can see how she would put someone a little anxious at ease. I cannot recommend The Collective enough!!! They deserve to stick around and flourish!!

Overall was a great experience , Tim did a great job and I have been asked for your information. But, was very disappointed that the company stopped allowing at least one person in the room during a tattoo. My friend was extremely disappointed that she could not be there while I was having my tattoo. Understand during COVID and understand too many people but allowing at least one person in the room seems logical. So please change that policy back to allow at least one person in the room.

My entire experience with this establishment from start to finish has been phenomenal. The staff is very welcoming and does great with explaining the ropes of the whole tattoo process. The shop itself is absolutely beautiful! You can tell a lot of hard work has gone into it. Tim is the man. This place is awesome, super spacious with nice privacy for tattoo sessions. The entire aura is spot on especially for any first timers who might want some privacy during their first session. The entire staff is super friendly and the decor is unique and pretty awesome!!

Everything about this shop is rad!I originally had a consultation for an idea with Liv… after a great conversation we decided it wouldn’t quite work. It was incredibly professional and I trusted her opinion. So the first shout out is for her!She referred me to Michael and the shop was awesome on letting me use my deposit towards my tattoo with him as a walk in. Researched his work and was pumped to get it with him. After getting on the waitlist, it was getting very close to closing time and was very surprised they called me in at the very end of the day. I was going to get two small pieces with just Michael (one on each wrist). As I was talking with some of the artists, Aaron had the idea of tattooing one of the pieces at the same time Michael did the other. For a split second it made me nervous because I’d never seen Aaron’s work. All that went away when he came back with the drawing! It was both of theirs first time tattooing one person at the same time. The Collective Tattoo & Body Piercing is welcoming, and insanely clean. A big group of skillful artists who truly care about their craft and their clients! This place really feels like a second home. Plus, the front staff are awesome! They treat you like family and are honest with you upfront. I have been to a lot of shops but nothing as amazing as this one. Each artist has tattooed me and Ive never gotten so many compliments in my life!! 100000000/10 :)

First, its so neat and creatively decorated! All the vintage photos coupled with modern set-ups look amazing. Second, the front end staff are so pleasant and gave me a variety of jewelry to choose from, as well as made me feel at ease with being a first-time visitor in their shop. Last but definitely not least, Ryan was my piercing artist today and so awesome to work with! He was very mellow and gave me a sense of comfort along with his professionalism. Had a good laugh in between getting my tongue and left nostril pierced, and both were virtually painless! This shop will be my go-to place from now on; if you havent paid them a visit, I suggest you stop by. Well worth it!😁😁♥️

I have had nothing but issues withthis shop. The owner said I was good hands with Chad.after I had already been waiting a year due to artist after artist leaving the shop. Chad worked on my tattoo but said he couldnt finish it due to the time which I respected. Chad then charged me for not only the time of my tattoo but also for his breaks and purchases of tattoo equipment. I paid the ridiculous price and even agreed to come back as he had already started the tattoo. I waited a year for my next appointment to only be told that they were refunding me my deposit because Chad didnt feel comfortable working on my tattoo. I even called the day before my appointment in which I was told my appointment was all set and good to go. this is a very unproffesional business that takes people money and do what they want. I will never ever got to this shop again or recommend them to anyone. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMING SHOP!

Went with my daughter to get tattooed together. She did her research and found an artist she loved so we drove to VAB. We came in as walk-ins as she had already had a consult and the day setup for hers. Everyone was friendly and the shop had a great vibe. The artist Scott did a great job taking my concept sketch and drawing it for the tattoo. He was really fast and it came out amazing. Whether its your first tattoo or adding to the existing collection I highly recommend The Collective

I don’t think I will ever truly be able to put into words how amazing the experience I had here was. I got there about 15 minutes early and my artist, Olivia, came out early and showed me the multiple drawings she sketched for my tattoo. She got my into the back and made me feel comfortable and eased any nerves I had. She was incredibly fun to talk to and multiple other artists, including the owner, came into the room and made me feel comfortable and welcome. We finished up on the later side and it had gotten dark outside. Michael, another artist in the building at the time, took time out of his day to walk me to my car to ensure my safety, which, as a younger woman, I appreciate greatly. Every experience I have had at this studio has been wonderful, pleasant, prompt, clean, and friendly and I will ABSOLUTELY continue to go here and recommend this studio to anyone who is looking for great work!

The Collective Tattoo & Body Piercing is eclectic, welcoming, and super clean. A true group of skillful artists who truly care about their craft and their clients! My two favorite piercers, Ryan and Kristy, are the best! This place is like home! Plus, the front staff are awesome! They treat you like family and honest. The studio is beyond clean, it was impressive. I have been to a lot of shops but nothing as amazing as this one. I have been tattooed by nearly every artist there, and all of my tattoos are complimented multiple times a day everywhere!!

Several months ago I brought my daughter here for her tongue piercing and they were very friendly and professional. My sister-in-law and I wanted to get matching coffee bean plant tattoos so I decided to use them again based on my previous experience. I’m so glad I did! The shop is beautiful and clean, staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant experience, prices are very reasonable and competitive, and the artists are phenomenal! My sister-in-law and I both had Chipi as our artist. He is absolutely amazing!! His demeanor and personality is the best, his touch is light and he makes sure to ask you how you’re doing during the process. His artistic ability/talent is out of this world and we couldn’t be happier with our tattoos! I will forever recommend him and I will use him for all of my future tattoos! During my time in the shop, I saw other artists work as well and it was all amazing! You will not regret going there for a tattoo or piercing! That I can promise you!

Traveling from New Jersey and decided to stop in to get matching tattoos with my best friend. The shop owner and workers are the friendliest, most polite artists I have ever came across! I am truly grateful for the experience I had with my tattoo artist, James! He was so welcoming and very talented. They offered us drinks as we waited, and asked us if we were doing alright during our tattoo session. They are all so sweet and pleasant, and I will be coming back again for more!!

Before I started going to The Collective I went to another artist who was good but not communicative. I can say for every artist I have spoken to or come into contact with, they’re always on their A game and know exactly what the hell is going on and will definitely let you know every form of information you need. Michael in particular takes care of me but I would recommend their entire crew because everyone brings something special to the table. The front desk crew is amazing and polite all the time and will always greet you with a smile. I can say for as long as I am going to be getting tattoos I would recommend taking a stop at The Collective, they’re kind, genuine, and professional.

I’ve gone to the collective for two other tattoos previously and had nothing but a great experience. All of the staff is super friendly and helpful. Today was my first time seeing Michael for some additional work to a previous tattoo. He made the whole experience really easy. Definitely a great place to get quality tattoos and actually enjoy your time there.

I absolutely love everything about this shop. The atmosphere is perfect. The owners and employees are wonderful human beings.Ive gotten multiple tattoos here and dont even know where to start gushing about my love for the artists at the collective. Ive basically been making it my goal to get a inked by everyone there.My most recent trip, my friend and I had an appointment with Linsey. We gave her an idea of what we wanted. both of us would get the same stencil in different color palettes. She practically read my mind- nailed the design and executed it beautifully. The colors are bright and the lines are sharp.This is where you go if you want not just a tattoo but a piece of ART that will last a lifetime.

I called about a walk in service today, and they said I could be put in a wait list. This was normal and I said yes but I would need to come in after 6:30. Which they said was fine! I get there around 6:30. By 7:30 I was walking out with a new tattoo. I spent less than what I thought I would, and my artist was absolutely amazing and was super interested in me as a person. The shop is very well maintained, clean, super cool bathroom too! I think this will be my new tattoo shop. Highly impressed.

Ive first went to Trilogy Tattoo many years ago and after spending hours searching for an artist whose work would be perfect for the vision I had for my sleeve tattoo. I was fortunate enough to find Clay Thames and set up a consultation. The second I walked in, I fell in love with the atmosphere. I loved the vibe and the employees were all incredibly nice! Clay switched to their sister location, Trinity Tattoo and the place had a similar vibe but still felt like its own identity. I just went to The Collective for the first time today and was impressed by what I saw. They definitely brought both stores individuality and mixed both vibes together. Its phenomenal. Place looks amazing and the staff are still all incredibly nice! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place thats welcoming and has some of the best people around!

The atmosphere was super amazing. I was greeted immediately when I walked in the door for my nostril piercing and felt super welcome immediately. The atheistic of the building was super cool and it felt very, very clean and professional. My appointment did run a little bit late, but it was totally worth the extra bit of wait time. Kristy was informative, professional, and highly personable. I will definitely be recommending Collective to my friends that want tattoos or piercings.

Im no Karen, Ive never written a review before, but I am absolutely in love with the artwork that I had done at The Collective. Ive gotten pierced as well as tattooed there, and I can assure you its worth your time and money. Its one of the cleanest places Ive been to and the staff there are so friendly. They really make you feel a part of their family. I got my first tattoo there done by their apprentice artist MICHAEL LUKESON. He did such a great job I referred my boyfriend to him the same day (his also came out spectacular). I had an appointment at a different shop but left because the environment was so intimidating. Michael took both me and my boyfriend as walk-ins on a weekend, and even stayed overtime to complete my boyfriends piece. As a young woman service comes first and The Collective certainly delivered! Ill certainly be referring friends and family to Michael and Ryan! I honestly cant thank them enough, theyll be seeing me again

I cant explain how happy I am with my experiences here. I came in to get my forearm with 3 tattoos covered up, I had no idea or plan on what I wanted or if even possible. But Chad has blown my mind with his amazing work this far, The 3 tattoos I had were a bad memory and Chad has put an amazing piece of art on my arm that has changed how happy I am again at showing off my tattoos. Chad has turned my arm from 3 bad memories to a badass half-sleeve that i never could have imagined possible. The collective staff and Chad are amazing, friendly, and professional. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to get some amazing art.

Im finally getting around to writing a wonderful review! I work next door and would always be looking at the building from outside thinking about walking in and checking out the vibes and meet the wonderful people of collective. The atmosphere of the inside was so relaxing and tranquil. Lots of beautiful plant life, comfy chairs, and wicked cool eclectic items on the shelf. The girls at the front desk were so sweet and very helpful with my questions and needs. I originally did my piercings first. Ryan did my piercings and even helped stretch my gauges. He had wonderful conversations with me . He made me feel comfortable and welcomed. I absolutely love my piercings. Would recommend Ryan for your piercing Needs. I came in a couple days later for my Norse Compass on my hand and Tim was my artist. Right from the beginning his vibes and personality was so amazing. Awesome conversations about gaming and other nerdy things lol. He took his time with my day and made a lot of great comments on how it was it looking awesome so far. After we were finished he took a pic of my tat which showed me that he appreciated it enough to have a personal pic of his work. Im currently still wearing my saniderm, so Ill deffinitely post a pic. I look forward to coming back.

I absolutely love this place! From start to finish the entire environment felt so welcoming. I had the privilege to get my tattoo done by Michael & I am speechless, he exceeded every expectation I had for my tattoo. He went above & beyond the entire visit, his talent shines so beautifully through his work. He was so patient & not once did he make me feel out of place. I am beyond appreciative & so proud to have his art on me forever. Michael was able to ask the others for their opinion & ask how to make every detail pop, I respect that so much. To Shelby at the front desk being helpful, friendly, and down for a quick chat. To Kristy who pierced my roommate, cousin, and myself (at different times throughout the day, they were busy!) Kristy marked two different placements so we could decide together the best option. The absolute best staff! The front staff is so helpful, as well as skillful piercers and tattoo artists. The studio is impressive between the cleanliness and the aesthetic. The place is very welcoming inside and everyone is very friendly. Ive been tattooed by almost all of the artists and I constantly get stopped and complimented. 100/10!

Honestly the strangest experience. My piercer Kristy was obviously having a rough morning (understandable, happens to all of us). The front desk was super helpful and told me she was running late and helped me pick jewelry, offered water, etc. Kristy comes walking in cussing and explaining the morning she had to the front desk. Loudly. Even while they were trying to answer the phones. Again, I get it. But no acknowledgment of me (the client) just proceeds to share her personal business with the front desk. Then (25 min past my scheduled time at this point) she walks in the back and continues to vent very loudly for another 10+ minutes.I wish she would have just come out, acknowledged me, respected my time, and asked for a moment to gather herself. Or taken the day off. Or asked me if I would like to reschedule. After continuing to hear her escalated and upset in the back, I decided this is not the person I want seeing me. (Most of us are a little nervous and look for calm and comfort in these situations).Extra frustrating because now I have to go somewhere I didn’t have the piercing originally done. And I had such an AMAZINGLY professional and wonderful experience with Bennett who did my tattoo. But I won’t be returning to Collective.

I’ve gotten 9 tattoos at this shop now and I absolutely love them. I drive 3 hours away to come see Chad Carter. He’s done 6 of them and I’ve been happy with every single one of them. Chad always takes the time to make sure I’m happy with the design and the placement before getting started. Im a person that needs breaks and Chad respects that and will check in on me. He’s even provided snacks when I’ve gotten woozy. I’m always impressed with the technique and colors Chad used. Tattoos hurt but Chad doesn’t dig into your skin like some other artist do. Im in love with I have, and have at least 3 more tattoos lined up for Chad to do. I wish he had more open slots, but he’s busy which makes my heart happy. He is worth the wait!

Yesterday a friend and I went in as walk ins and got on the waiting list, they had told us about 4 hours but we only waited 2. We were able to leave and go grab lunch, which was nice. He did such a great job and went back over his work to make sure it was perfect. His line work is amazing. He did the lettering for my daughters name and it is everything I could’ve asked for. This place is the first place that I feel so welcomed. The front desk receptionists treat me well with respect. All the tattoo artists are very skillful. I have done couple tattoos from Mike, and I love his bedside manner. How? He asked if I want anything to drink and provide pillow for my comfort. In addition, he asks my opinions to ensure my tattoos are perfect, and communication is very important to me. Aside from that, he is very skillful, and I love his line works so much. I got so many compliments for my tattoos!I am coming back to this place for my tattoos, and I will not go anywhere but this place!

First off...I literally brought a friend out of state just to get him professionally pierced here. This place is freaking awesome! Everything is properly sanitized around the clock and clean. The vibes when you walk in are authentic and wholesome. Ive been worked on by both Kristy and Ryan for my eye brow piercings and septum and they did it perfectly. Shout out to the owners Dave and Marissa, they take pride in their business and professionalism and will crack a few jokes. Straight up family vibes and thats what will keep me coming back. No tattoos currently but If I ever decide to get one, it will be here!

Awesome place, great staff, extremely clean and the prices are awesome. The artists dont rush through their work they ensure that you are very satisfied during your consult. While getting a tattoo they ensure that you are as comfortable as you can possibly be, they offered beverages ensured that I got appropriate breaks during my session and were extremely kind. I would definitely recommend this establishment for your next tattoo they are wonderful, the gum ball machine was a great day date for my wife and it was so fun getting a random tattoo, I think the artists had a lot of fun with it too. Great place.

I have been going to Blue Horseshoe Tattoo for 6 years and I have always liked them until recently. I had a bad experience so I came to Trinity. THEY ARE THE BEST! From start to finish I had superior customer service. I felt totally comfortable. The desk Ninjas had it going on. They have a beautiful working space and everyone there is extremely professional and friendly. It is very clean! I will definitely be going back here. Jamie did my tattoo and he was awesome! He was very nice, did everything that I wanted with my tattoo, was very informative, and just all around a nice guy. He did a beautiful job with my tattoo and even touched up some mistakes he saw from the person who had started it before. 5 Stars! Loved them!!!

Super clean! The cleanest tattoo parlor Ive ever been in! Everyone super is friendly.I loved how they added me to the wait list and then texted me when they were ready for me. Mike was my tattooist. This place is absolutely amazing! I had Clay as my artist and he is the best. This was my first tattoo and while I really wanted it I was still a little apprehensive about getting a tattoo. During my consultation Clay went over every detail and made me feel confident and excited about getting my tattoo. When I went back to get my tattoo Clay made sure everything was correct and the results are amazing! The tattoo is better than I could imagine. All the artists in the shop are very friendly. I would highly recommended this shop and Clay to anyone looking to get an amazing tattoo and have an amazing experience.

I had a consult with Olivia earlier in the year (around August) where I shared my design ideas for my first tattoo, which I got in early November. She was amazing to talk with and offered incredible feedback! Ill be honest, at first I was a little nervous about the idea of a wait list (Im a very anxious, impatient person, I admit!) but it was beyond worth it. Seeing how Olivia brought the concepts to life was breathtaking, and watching it go from drawing to stencil to ink was an amazing process.As it was my first tattoo I didnt know what to expect, but the atmosphere was really comfortable. There really isnt a better way to describe the shop but chill and friendly, when youre getting work done you feel like you belong there. This is pretty huge, as Im generally a pretty introverted and shy person, but I felt right at home in the parlor. They had drinks and snacks as needed and were incredibly accommodating. It was a wonderful experience. I honestly couldnt have wished for a better first tattoo, artist, or parlor to have.

So a friend and I went in to get some matching tattoos that we have been talking about for a while. Aaron was my artist, and I really couldnt be happier with the results of my tattoo. He was very attentive and patient with the line work and fine details, and I compared the tattoo to the picture I asked him for; he definitely exceeded my expectations. Im much happier with what I got than what I was expecting! This is a very welcoming environment, and the people are SO friendly. This will probably be a regular tattoo spot for me from now on. I have another appointment soon, and I know I wont be disappointed.

I went in there about a month ago just to inquire about a nostril piercing. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was awesome and every staff member in there was so welcoming. I went back today to get my first piercing. I was so nervous but Kristy made my experience amazing.

I have had several walk-in tattoos done here. Staff is always friendly and willing to answer questions. Michael has done 3 of my tattoos and always makes the experience enjoyable. I always receive compliments on the tattoos he has done for me. This is the only shop I go to and trust for tattoos and piercings.

John Thrasher Thiel like always did an amazing job on my forearm piece that I decided to get! He took the time to draw up what I wanted and he was always in contact with me regarding any changes I wanted to it! I am IN LOVE with my Wonder Woman portrait!! John and I have known each other since we were 3 years old and I go to him for all of my tattoos! I follow him no matter where he goes! Trilogy staff was very friendly and polite! Place was extremely clean and I loved the set up of the shop! I already highly recommend them because of John, but I will continue to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a clean and fun place to go! The owner came in a number of times and was very polite and talked to myself and others getting work done. He also complimented Johns work a number of times, as well as past tattoos John has done for me! Great place and great people!

I’ve been to the Collective 3 times in the past 6 months, and every time I’ve been done a walk in and requested Michael. He’s always very easygoing and friendly and has created beautiful tattoos for me! The process is easy and as painless as it could be, and I’ll always recommend him and keep going to him for tattoos in the future.

The single most beautiful shop I have ever entered. I would do a paid tour just to walk around the place and really check it out. The ceilings, the lighting, the barn doors. Absolutely amazing. The quality of work I experienced was also fantastic as was my artist, Chad. Understands exactly whats needed and walks you through the entire process. Great experience and highly recommended.

Ive gotten an industrial and 3 other cartilage piercings from Kristy. Shes professional, kind and easy to talk to. Shes very honest, reassuring and patient. I was very nervous about my industrial, but she talked me through it and it was nearly painless. Shes the reason I went back for more ear piercings.

I have been following Olivia for a while and really love her work. So I was excited when I was able to schedule a consultation with her. She is clearly a talented artist with a large clientele base, and rightfully so. The shop is fantastic and the people are great, but I felt a little rushed through the consult with Olivia and didnt get to discuss fully what I envisioned for my tattoo. I understand that she is quite busy and the consult was free, but I wouldve happily paid a deposit for a more thorough consult.I left feeling a little confused so I emailed her later on to get clarification on what her minimum was. I dont have a lot of experience with tattoo artists in general, so I wanted to make sure I had the right idea of costs in mind. She didnt give me a full quote on the tattoo, just gave me a minimum and an hourly rate. Clearly there was some miscommunication there, and maybe I was very unclear, but Olivias response back to me was rude and condescending and very unprofessional. I would have happily paid the minimum and then some to get work done by her because her work is absolutely stunning. I needed to get an idea on cost so that I could budget appropriately. Rather than communicate with me, she chose to send a one-sentence response that reeked of condescension. This is something that will be on my body forever, so I need to feel confident in my artist and make sure our visions line up. Im absolutely willing to pay for quality work, but I was treated like a number instead of a person. So if youre looking to get a tattoo and need someone to take the time to work with you and make sure youre on the same page, this wouldnt be the artist I would go with.

I came in a couple of months ago to get a sleeve done and my artist(Draya) was amazing to work with. She helped bring my idea to life and even helped make it better than what I had in mind. I get compliments constantly and I am glad I went to her. I have a fair share of tattoos and she taught me to clean my tattoo in a way that it healed better than any other tattoo I have ever had. Even their front staff was awesome to me. I have absolutely no complaints. Go to this shop and you wont be disappointed.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I LOVED THIS PLACE! I got both my septum and nostril done but Kristy and she was lovely. I was a bit nervous since I’ve never had any face piercings but she mad me feel super comfortable and relaxed the whole time. The vibe in the shop was so awesome, even the front deck people were extremely helpful. From now on Kristy will be my piercer! Absolutely loved her!!

I had met Dave at a MOCA event where he gave a full day of his time drawing cool things on kids(and adults). My son got a fantastic kangaroo that he didnt want to wash off for days. When I decided to get my first tattoo, I went looking for Dave and dropped by Trinity Tattoo on a Friday evening. The staff suggested I stop into their sister store Trilogy as a walk-in. I stopped by that next morning. I was a bit nervous but was instantly put at ease with the friendly staff and casual atmosphere.My artist was excellent, the whole experience was excellent. My tattoo looks great. I was treated great from when I walked in the door until I left. Dave was there and I got a chance to talk briefly to him and Melissa, his wife, actually checked in on me as Rusty was finishing up with me. I went in to get a piercing yesterday and had THE BEST experience. Melissa was very friendly (as was everyone) and since they were quite busy, I waited around 10 minutes before I could get checked in. Melissa was very attentive and helped me as soon as she could. I had Kristy as my piercer, she was super nice and gave me an awesome piercing. Helped me pick out some new jewelry for another piercing I had and was really accommodating. I can’t say enough good things about this place and the people who work there. I will definitely be going back!

I had a great experience here, I’ve gotten all of my facial piercings here and they have all healed perfectly. I came here to get my first tattoo with Lindsey and she did an amazing job. It is healing perfectly as well.

Got a “get what you get tattoo” today and I’m very happy on what Michael tattooed on me!! Would highly recommend them and will come back!

Been here multiple times with my friend while she got work done. She comes to see Olivia, who is a joy to be around. Very professional and down to earth artist, with great skill. Today I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Dave. Very considerate and nice individual. Took time to check in on how my friend was doing, to meet us both and shared some of his own personal stories to make us laugh and feel at ease. Clean shop with relaxed atmosphere and great employees. Definitely recommend it.

I have been going to Trilogy for years for my piercings and can honestly say every experience has been nothing short of amazing. Sarah is my go-to for piercings because she always makes me feel at ease throughout the process and has also been quick to respond appropriately when I felt like I was going to pass out. I have had piercings done by Ryan as well, and he is always fast and professional. I went into the shop a couple days ago for my first tattoo and felt comfortable by seeing the familiar faces. James did such an awesome job not only on the design itself, but also was friendly and made the process significantly less nerve-wracking.

Just got a tattoo on the side of my forearm from Joe and he did a great job. It was my first time at this tattoo shop and it wont be my last. The people there are really friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this shop to everyone. The shop is really clean and organized. I personally like Joe because he did a great job on mine. And he told me a price and I agreed to it but after he was done he said since it didnt take as long as he thought he went down on the price. Thats a honest man in my book and I respect that. And the guy who did my wifes tattoo did a good job too. Thank You Joe for a great tattoo. I will be back to get my son his first tattoo.

My friend and I went there for piercings. Amazing staff! Incredibly professional, kind, knowledgeable, and steady-handed. The rooms were really cool, loved all the decorations and digital galleries of work theyve done. Smaller selection of jewelry available than I was expecting, but it was all incredibly high-quality. Definitely returning for future piercing and hopefully some tattoos.

I got one of my first tattoos here not long after they had opened. I was a bit skeptical, but had it done by Michael Lukeson, apprenticing under his father Dave. Dave is the owner, very cool dude and also cares a lot about what comes out of his shop. He stopped by a couple times to make sure everything was going as he would want it too. Michael took his time, but it came out great and healed very well. Very clean and careful of sanitation. I will definitely be going back for my future tattoos. Trilogy rocks! I walked in on a Saturday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was not my first tattoo, but I was still a little nervous. They put me at ease. My piece was small and simple, but my artist made me feel appreciated and took time to look at my references and listen to what I wanted! He created and executed an amazing tattoo that I will love forever!! The entire experience was positive, and of course.... Ill be back!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Trilogy from the moment I walked in to check out. I was greeted by staff quickly and I was pleased to find they were very kind, professional and helpful. Clay was my artist, he looked over my drawing and helped me tweak the design to best fit where I wanted it to go. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and skilled. As an artist myself, I am highly impressed by his work and how he carries himself. The shop is extremely clean, orderly, and visually aesthetically pleasing. I will definitely be coming back and going to Clay again! Thank you so much guys!

Super clean and cool space. We went to see Michael Lukeson, and he is the friendliest and most open minded dude. His line work was detailed and precise, and he was able to perfectly illustrate my tattoo idea. He’s easy going, professional and super enjoyable to be around. The ladies up front were so nice and more hospitable than most tattoo shops I’ve been to. Overall super happy, and I will definitely make another visit.

I cannot recommend this shop enough!! Recently went in for a small line-work tattoo of a sketch I did years ago and was more than satisfied with the work that Jordan Jones did! Not only was he super kind, chill, and professional, but everyone in the shop, from the receptionists to the owner, were some of the nicest people I’ve met in a while. The shop is extremely clean, has a dope setup, and has a good environment that allows you to feel comfortable. 10/10, literally messaging him right now to set up appointment #2

Everyone was so nice and friendly. Inside the store was amazing they had a lot of neat stuff to look at. I was a walk-in and got to work with Scott, He was amazing, he made sure that my tattoo was what I wanted and made sure everything was perfect before he started. He was very friendly and the price was reasonable. Very happy with My tattoo, glad I found this place.

I had my nose piercing done by Ryan Provido. He was professional and efficient, also patient with me when I wanted to change the placement of where my piercing would go about four times. I received clear instructions on how to clean my piercing from Ryan and in a detailed email. Id also like to mention that the woman working the front desk that day (I cant for the life of me remember her name) was incredibly nice and friendly. She walked me through the choices of piercings and their price points and she answered any questions I had. One more thing I want to mention is how cool the interior design is! Seriously, I loved it in there. In conclusion, I had a great experience at Trilogy Tattoo.

Was in town for an overnight trip and looked up shops in the area. Im so glad I chose Trilogy. The shop was beautiful and clean and the folks at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. The owner Dave introduced himself and made my boyfriend and I feel right at home. My tattoo artist James was really sweet and patient and did a great job on my tattoo... such a great job in fact, that my boyfriend decided to get his first tattoo here as well!! I definitely recommend checking out this shop if you’re looking for a place with a warm and welcoming environment.

Came in for a quick walk in tattoo. Was able to go home and wait which was really nice and when I got there the artist was really cool and held conversation which is nice anywhere you go. the work was also very great and looks great he didnt rush thank you Geo davinci! will be setting up appointments here fore sure!
