Chapterhouse Tattoo

I have gotten two tattoos at Chapterhouse now and have had a wonderful experience both times. Both tattoos were done by Paige, and Paige did a third tattoo for me in the past when she worked at Dark Arts. Paige is truly awesome to work with. She did a large cover-up for me, and it is flawless. She takes all of my crazy ideas and turns them into amazing tattoos. Everyone at Chapterhouse has been so nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend.

The place looks clean and inviting. In addition the array of designs that each artist offers is very unique. The biggest issue I have with this place and the reason I ended up choosing not to book with them in the end is that not one artist has a person of color in their tattoo catalog whatsoever. This makes me not trust any of the artist capabilities in tattooing someone with a darker skin tone. There is really no excuse as to why that is especially when you’re in a place like Baltimore City. Design/artistry work and the shop are nice but that’s really it.

11/10, highly recommend. Have had about a dozen sessions here at Chapterhouse with Brett, and all the artists here are incredibly skilled, friendly, and knowledgeable.

I’ve been getting tattooed for a few years now and visited a lot of shops all over the country. I keep coming back to Chapterhouse because they truly are my favorite shop. Most of my tattoos are from this shop. I’ve been tattooed by Ashli, Caylin, Brenn, and Rina. All of them are insanely talented artists and kind people. I cannot recommend this shop enough. I’ve told so many of my friends about this place and am proud of this shop! Always clean, organized, welcoming, and a warm feeling. Check out all of these artists on Instagram. Most prebook via email or their instagrams but they do have some walk-in artists. A really talented shop. There’s something for everyone at this shop.

I had a great experience here! The atmosphere is great and the artists are thoughtful and considerate. The work was done with consideration for pain tolerance and carefully. I highly recommend Brenn as an artist and a tattooer

I got tattooed by Cailin and it was a great experience all around!! She was kind and patient as I decided the placement. The design was exactly was I was picture and the tattoo came out great! She was fun to talk to and checked in with me throughout the process. I would absolutely come back to get tattooed by her!

Came to get a tattoo from Matt after finding out about his shop from a friend with particularly cool work. Really cool place, laid-back and comfortable vibes. Matts easy to talk to and work out a design with, if youre into his style he can create something really, really nice for you. My tattoo has clean, strong lines and beautiful colors. 11/10 you should definitely invest in a tattoo from Matt or Brett. Ill likely be back again.

Sperience with chapterhouse was great from setting up my appointment all the way through to completion of my tattoo. Elyse, who makes the appointmentsx was very friendly through the email process to set it up. Brett was very excited about my concept and came up with something great. I think it was very affordable. he makes you feel comfortable and makes great conversation. Im definitely going back again!

Unlike any other tattoo shop in Baltimore. Very chill and comfortable atmosphere with some of the best artists in Maryland. An absolute must if you’re looking for some great work!

The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and interesting. The artist was extremely clean, professional and a true artist. Talking to him was like talking to an old friend you havent seen in years. I highly recommend and will be going back soon.
