Been to Studio Evolve a few times, and Seth is the best! Over the course of a few sessions, he completed an awesome nautical half sleeve! Colors are so vibrant and it looks amazing! Studio Evolve attracts the best artists in the area, many talented artists capable of making your vision come to life!

I cant recommend Studio Evolve and the incredibly talented artist Kasey May enough! From start to finish, Kasey did an amazing job bringing my vision for my tattoos to life. She was incredibly patient, taking the time to discuss all the options with me until we were both completely happy with the design. Each session was a pleasure—Kaseys kindness and humor made the experience even better, all while staying focused on creating truly stunning artwork. The two new tattoos she created for me are some of my absolute favorites, and I couldnt be happier with how they turned out. She also touched up a fine line tattoo on my inner wrist, adding beautiful designs and shading that really completed it. If youre looking for a talented, professional, and kind artist, Kasey May is the one to go to!

I got my first tattoo here about 2 years ago. They were super nice and helped walk me through the process. I get most of my tattoos here now. Its definitely worth the scary drive I have to make to get here.

She was wonderful in working through tattoo designs, developed multiple options--I wanted them all. Her artistry & technical skills are so impressive. The design has a ton of fine-scale detail & she delivered it better than I ever imagined. She was also very attentive & had a light touch. This is my 5th tattoo and one of my best experiences. I encourage everyone to check out her portfolio & book her while she has availability. I imagine shell be fully booked quickly with all this talent.Studio Evolve was a welcoming space & very inclusive & made booking easy. I love Studio Evolve! The people there are very personable, friendly & listen to your thoughts& ideas. Ive been tattooed by 3 different artists (Jamie Cary, Zitman & Canada) & they are all amazing @ their craft. This is the only place I will get tattooed now. Taryn is phenomenal! This was my second tattoo by her and she did not disappoint. I did have to wait several weeks for an opening on her calendar, but a booked calendar is a good sign - and the wait is worth it. She took the time to adjust the design several times to ensure it would work with the size and placement I was looking for. Her demeanor was so comforting throughout the tattooing - constantly checking to see if I was okay, willing to chat if I wanted to but also okay if I needed to zone out. The tattoo healed so nicely and turned out beautifully! Super happy with the outcome! Can’t wait for my next design with her :)

Went to here to get my 3rd tattoo (lion) 2 weeks ago right before my birthday Chipi the tattoo artist guy is awesome like he did a fantastic job on tattooing my right forearm I also got my 2nd tattoo which is my Puerto Rico flag from 3 years ago before we did it at Studio Evolve!!! I really had a great experience with him!!! I was extremely thankful & excited to get my tattoo done with Chipi again even their place is so nice, beautiful, well cleaned, and the tattoo staff are really nice & professional!!! 😄😃😀 I will definitely come back here again whenever I decide if I want to get another tattoo in the next future!! I sent in idea before appointment and when I arrived Seth was patient and made a recommendation based on it being my first tattoo to ensure I could handle the intensity! This was my first tattoo and also my birthday so i was thrilled to get my first tattoo. It was very quick. My brother set a walk in appointment and i was in and out within 1 hour 45 minutes or less. This was my first experience at a tattoo shop so I was nervous and excited and didnt know what to expect. It turned out to be a very good experience. The studio is clean and kinda reminds me of a funky art boutique with all the different drawings and art. The service was great! Everyone I met were so passionate about their work that it immediately eased my mind.My tattoo artist was Lucy Lou and I chose her because I loved how she did such realistic flowers and bugs. She took my ideas and created the most perfect piece of art that I can look at every day!I have nothing but good things to say about my experience and if I decide to get another tatto, I will definitely go back to Studio Evolve and Lucy. I found my tattoo artist Kasey on Instagram and instantly loved her work! I booked with her not long after! In person she was nothing short of amazing! My tattoo is beautiful, exactly what I wanted and made me feel comfortable moving it around! I’ve already got her booked again in a few days! Studio evolve is filled with some pretty awesome people and you feel at home!

Never gotten a tattoo before, the staff was professional. The building was shockingly well maintained and clean. Stan did outstanding work and also clearly explained aftercare to me as well. Will definitely return to this location.

Had an amazing experience with Zitman!! I called for a walk-in appointment and they were able to accommodate me pretty quickly. I specifically wanted a tattoo of handwriting and it turned out exactly how I had hoped. He was agreeable on both the writing and placement and we had an easy conversation throughout the tattooing process. Everyone was so friendly and I will definitely be coming back here to get more work done!!

I’ve been going to studio evolve for about a year now receiving a total re-work of my right arm sleeve from Kevin Baker. It’s taken a little longer than expected but the attention to detail that Kevin has is unimaginable and the quality of his work is appreciated. Staff are always friendly and willing to work around your schedule when it comes to making appointments. Kevin takes the time to ensure his area and work place are clean and sterilized before each session. They also offer saniderm bandage which I feel is the best thing created for healing tattoos and prevention against infection. Thank you studio evolve and kevin baker for taking on the challenge and accepting my re-work when other shops wouldn’t do it.

Highly impressed with this place, its employees, and artists. My artist Kevin was amazing, creative, coloring on point and professional. Just a fun crowd to be around...always offering to grab me food during long sessions. I got a Mother Earth/nature tattoo on my calf and am in love with it. Her face is so sweet, simple and innocent. Highly recommend Studio Evolve.

My regular artist, Glo, just moved to Studio Evolve and my first session here was great! the shop is very clean and everyone is friendly & professional, and i got coffee b4 my tattoo so all my dreams were fulfilled early on. it seems all the artists at studio evolve are very talented, but Glo particularly has done sooo much amazing work on me over the past few years, she always comes up w the most beautiful designs and i always heal up great

Jeremy was meticulous with the design of my tattoo. His work area was clean; he put out all of his materials right in front of me. He was friendly and professional. I love how my tattoo turned out. I highly recommend him and Studio Evolve.

Got my first tattoo from Stan, it was a great experience! He and all the employees were very friendly and cool, the studio is very nice, and it was overall awesome. They really care about their customers and are very available for followup questions about aftercare. I love my tattoo, and I will definitely be back!

I came to this studio after researching for a few days. I have a couple of tattoos, but nothing as large or easily visible as what I had in mind, so I was careful about picking an artist. Was in town on vacation, talked my mom into getting a tattoo after 20 years. The shop handled 9 walk ins with ease. Extremely clean, very cool shop, the artists did nice quick work. All in all a great experience.

I have been to Studio Evolve twice now to get both my tattoos and as long as I am in the Virginia peninsula area I will be back for more. The staff are extremely friendly and as someone who works a somewhat difficult schedule to work around, they always manage to work it out with me. This will always be my go to place I recommend people check out whether its their first tattoo or they have some already.

Found this place on Google after scrolling for a minute or two and was drawn in by the talent of their artists. I emailed them my idea and they suggested a few different artists, so I checked them out individually on IG. I ended up going with the artist Bella and she did a fantastic job in both the design and execution of my tattoo. Her pricing is very reasonable, she made sure I was comfortable, and we had great conversation throughout the session. I got a full color tattoo that has since healed and I absolutely love it. If I get another tattoo while in Virginia Beach I will definitely be going back here.

An amazing experience! The staff at check in was friendly and check in was straightforward since I had an appointment. Thora Metzger was amazing and has a very calming personality. It was my first tattoo but she helped me feel confident and comfortable. She explained the aftercare process well and answered my many questions. Her instincts and design are spot on! I am in love with my Moomin-ous blueberry tattoo (picture taken when 2 weeks healed).

Kasey is by far my favorite artist I’ve ever dealt with. Love everyone’s attitudes, the shop is always so clean, and Kasey and her mentor are insanely great artists!!! HIGHLY recommend!!! In a session now to get the third!!!

I was in town visiting the VA beach area with a close friend and old roommate. I found StudioEvolve through google and called to see if they had availability for walk-ins, which they did with Blake.Blake is an amazing artist, knowledgeable local of the VA area and a budding sailor. I was back East visiting my son who is stationed in Norfolk. And I wanted some new ink. I called Studio Evolve and told them what I was looking for. Bella got me in the next morning. She was awesome. I was going thru some things and she was like my therapist and artist all rolled in to one. She did exactly what I was picturing and I have the most adorable little pea pod on my butt. I highly recommend the studio for ALL of your tattoo wants.

I love this place. Between the amazing artists, the receptionists, and the studio itself, its always a great experience. The artists there always make sure you are taken care of and that you leave with something you truly love. Ive had scar cover up work there, and I couldnt recommend them enough for that alone.

Ive been tattooed by 3 different artists here, total of 9 (and counting) tattoos. I absolutely love them and would trust them with any artwork.This studio is clean and organized. Has beautiful artwork. Everyone is so kind, helpful and open minded. All artists are extreamly knowledgeable and willing to communicate their strengths and weaknesses. I absolutely love that Ive had an artist tell me to talk with another artist because they think someone else in the studio could do a better job with what I had in mind. Not that they couldnt do a great job, just that they know that the certain style of art, is not 100% their strength. I did TONS of research before picking the right tattoo shop for me. Ive been to plenty others. This one is my home. I always recommend it when anyone asks.

I went in to see Canada, her fine line work is amazing! She put an octopus on my ribs, was super patient with me and very sweet over all. I LOVE my octopus!! Healed up great and very easy recovery process.

We had an appointment that had to be moved due to an artists family emergency, and the studio was awesome! We wanted to still have it done same day and they found us an artist who was available and got us in! Jeff was awesome and brought our vision to life!

This is the 4th tattoo that Blake has done for me and as always he did amazing!! I called him in the morning and he fit me into his schedule later that evening. I told him I wanted a purple broken crayon. Thats it. What he created is absolutely gorgeous and I love it!!

I came here to finish up my tattoo started months ago (I had to save money, so it took time) with Mike Boone. I am so happy with my tattoo and the service provided. Mike is a great artist and seems like a fun person. He is fun to talk to which helps distract from the pain of getting the tattoo. The front desk person was also kind and friendly. Im sorry for not catching her name, though. Also, as an aside, my husband was also tattooed by Kevin. Hes also pretty cool and does great work. We recommend them both. I cant wait to go in for my next tattoo.

Great atmosphere and Communication. Had my consult with Stan and then appointment for my tattoo. I am very happy with my experience and my tattoo. I have already made another appointment with Stan to continue my sleeve and recolor old tattoos, and also follow-up for the tattoo he did. Pricing is very reasonable. Stan made me feel very comfortable and he is very passionate about his work.*UPDATE*I have had more work done. Stan updated my old blue and red roses and added more flowers and dragon flies to my sleeve. I am so extatic with his work. I will be going back next week to finish my sleeve. Stan also did a great job on my ankle and back. I showed him an example of what I wanted for my back piece and he ran with it. I couldnt be happier with the final design!

Lucy is an incredible artist and that’s why I was initially drawn to Studio Evolve. They clearly have some amazing talent there. Her work is gorgeous and I was excited to set up a consult to get a piece done that had a lot of natural features. Unfortunately I never got in. I was rescheduled twice and I showed up for my appointment last weekend and she wasn’t there. Not sure if this was an admin issue or communication error but I was slightly disappointed after anxiously waiting for this appointment. I did reschedule once a couple weeks ago on my own accord to be transparent due to an emergency. I canceled my consult for this weekend because I wasn’t sure if it’d actually happen. Maybe it would have. Lucy has done some incredible pieces and recently won an award for her work. If you can get in with her you’ll not regret it. A couple months ago I went through a rather tragic experience and was just not myself. I wanted to get a tattoo I had been wanting and called the studio for a walk in and they happily made it happen. Seth took care of me and his patience and creativity is top notch. He made me feel comfortable which during that time was so appreciated. The woman (forgot her name) at the front desk on the first floor is very sweet and talkative. I really enjoyed chatting with her. She made me feel very welcomed. Highly recommend Seth at SE.

Matt Zitman is amazing, I go to him specifically once a year from western NY, the whole place is clean and welcoming.These year I got these purple flowers from Matt.

I got a cover up by kasey, and i cannot say enough how amazing she was. kasey is an extremely talented artist, with a kind and bright attitude. the berry vine is what she did, and the cat was the original. she was very apologetic about the negative experience i had with the original tattoo, and made extra sure i was comfortable with everything before it was done. her original design was equally as amazing, but not exactly what i had in mind, and she had no problem changing some things up. she was very accommodating to anything i asked, and very very informative. if you are looking for an extremely detailed, talented, and easy to be around artist, kasey hits all the marks!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

I have gotten two tattoos at Studio Evolve now and both times it has been an amazing experience. I moved to Virginia a couple of years ago and did a lot of research to find a new tattoo shop to get ink. As long as I am here in VA, I will continue to go to Studio Evolve! I got a tattoo with Thora and she was simply amazing! She took an idea I had in my mind and created a beautiful piece of art. The second tattoo I got here was with Flaco. My best friend was in town visiting and I called to see if anyone had any walk-in availablity. We got lucky and got in with Flaco. We wanted matching tattoos but were not 100% sure what we wanted. We gave Flaco what ideas we had and he made an awesome tattoo for us! Their shop is very clean and everyone is very nice and welcoming. Highly recommend!!!!

The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect for a highly rated tattoo shop. Very professional yet down to earth and fun. Amy B was awesome at what she does. From the second I walked in the atmosphere was so kind and respectful. I got offered water and coffee, and they had comfortable places to sit after I filled out my form (I came hella early) Thora was so so nice had great communication about my tattoo and the super small details on it and did absolutely phenomenal work I almost practically cried with how good it came out :^] I have very bad anxiety in social situations and just new places but everyone was so welcoming and friendly that it made it super easy for me to get comfortable which is normally a struggle for me, especially at other shops. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Blake is hands down one of the best artists I’ve been to. Was so down to earth and real with me. Gave his honest opinion and trusted him with this gem. I gave him an idea but gave him free rein to do what he pleases and this was the final result. He was even caring enough to ask about my pain and offer numbing spray when it became quite uncomfortable. So pleased with his work and his art. 10/10 recommend him and Studio Evolve.

Everyone is friendly and can hold conversation. The environment is clean and all the artists there are very tentative. Itll be easy to find an artist for any taste in tattoo style and stay loyal to that artist. I havent seen any portfolios that would make me think Im not sure about this person. When the only downside is many of the artists are booked out for several months? Thats a great thing.Clean space and great artists. The artist I had this time, Nikki Canady, took a sketch I did and brought it to life. Made a few changes that just enhanced it. This is a work in progress, so still need to go back to have it finished up. But incredibly impressed.Will absolutely be going back for more.

I got my brows done by Alexandra and I won’t shut up about how obsessed I am!! I had existing brow work that was just not it, and she was able to lighten the part I was insecure about to give me a gorgeous, perfect brow!! Studio Evolve is an amazing tattoo shop. I came in to get a tattoo last Friday from one of the apprentices Kasey May and was shocked how easy the process was. She was so easy to communicate with when scheduling and I was so excited to get in, her availability is pretty specific which is understandable, due to the fact that her mentor has to be available as well. The front desk was so kind and the vibe was so relaxed. Kasey was PHENOMENAL, she is so sweet and really takes her time to check in with you and make sure youre happy during the process. The tattoo she created for me was perfect, for a free tattoo Im amazed how much effort and time she put in. I know it’s practice for her, but she also created something meaningful for me. Even her mentor checked on me during the process, which I appreciated! Kasey was so fun to chat with during the tattoo as well and Im in love with my new tattoo. I love her and I will definitely be coming back to get more pieces from her!

After searching a few shops in Virginia Beach, I landed at Studio Evolve. I met with my artist, Blake, and he created a design I loved. Getting the tattoo was straightforward and easy and I was sent home each time with instructions on the after care. Everyone in the shop was friendly and make the whole experience enjoyable. I ended up going back for my second tattoo and the whole process was just as great as the first time. Definitely will be going back for all my future tattoos.

Got quoted on a half sleeve for 2k here and I tried another shop and the cost was more than a 50% less cost for the same work. I was told a 17 hour process, for a half sleeve? Thats crazy its a clock some flowers and the word family. Be better priced. Ridiculous. Im sure chipi does good work but was to expensive.

Got my first ever tattoo on my forearm from Kevin. Absolutely amazing work and comfortable (as comfortable as a tattoo can be) experience for my first. He was very open to my ideas, but made sure I was set up with a piece that would last and looked good, capturing everything I was looking for. The staff is so kind! I was struggling to find a spot that takes card and walk ins but my sisters friend is a loyal customer and directed me here. I called in as soon as they opened they immediately made space for me and answered all my questions. No question was a dumb question for them which I appreciate! They also take all forms of payment which is sickkkk! My mom lives across the street so I was there in minutes and they didn’t make me wait at all. I got there did all the paperwork and Blake started setting up and getting my font ready immediately. He was very kind and even shook my hand which was a first for me but greatly appreciated. He was so professional while being personal at the same time! My tattoo turned out amazing and my experience was even better. For that, now whenever I am back in the area I am always a customer of this shop, big shoutout to Blake for taking me in that day as well as the great conversations, the amazing work he did and experience for my tattoo. It was a small name tattoo in a weird spot but he made it happen and made it beautiful. For that I am eternally grateful!

I had a great experience. Everyone was super nice and professional. They were really careful due to covid - everyone wore masks the entire time and my initial consultation was via Zoom. I had a coverup done, and I am really happy with how it turned out. It looks exactly like my dog. Mark did an AMAZING job. Studio Evolve got me in as a “walk in” as all I needed was a simple text tattoo. After a few, prompt email exchanges they said to call at opening and the next day I was scheduled for 1pm. The studio was clean, employees polite, and my artist Jeff did a great job. He was patient as we talked through the design, discussed pros/cons, and mutually agreed what I wanted and he could confidently deliver. It has been two weeks and the tattoo has healed up nicely.

Absolutely a fantastic place. From the atmosphere to the extremely friendly people working there. I received a tattoo from one of the apprentices Sam, and I received the first session of a tattoo from blake within the last couple days. Their work is amazing, lines are beautiful, colors are bold and bright on my american traditional clipper ship (Sam). And my wolfs head is a cover up of an old tattoo, so far just line work done. However, blake did an amazing job taking an idea I had and putting his flair into and really showing him amazing talents and his perfection of his craft. They both are true artists and it is my honor to be their canvas. I cant wait to keep going back and seeing what more they can do.

First off, I’d like to say that studio evolve has such a non toxic welcoming environment, a tattoo shop can be a pretty nerve wracking place to be especially if the staff aren’t friendly but that not once has occurred to me in the two times I’ve been here! I saw one of Kasey Mays insta posts advertising that she has opening for “free apprentice tattoo’s” she explained she had a flood of clients coming in and would do her best to accommodate me and accommodate she did. She was very thoughtful from her approach to scheduling to even the placement when we started. She has given me two of my most loved tattoos so far. As far as the atmosphere, Rusty at the front desk was very helpful and chill they made it easy to not get stressed about any of the paperwork. When Kasey tattooed me the music was great, her mentor Flaco was great to talk to as well as Blake, Canada, and Sam. Even though each artist was involved in their own appointments they always seemed interested in talking and made me feel very welcomed and relaxed. Overall I’ve gotta say 10/10 I will be coming back and sending any friends their way as well, and as far as Kasey I’m excited to see where her tattoo journey takes her and I’ll be getting another from her when ever she’s available and charging.

My experience with studio evolve has been by far the best customer service I have ever been exposed to. While the apprentice is ordering food for the artist , they always ask if I want something and also offer up water and coffee while I’m there. Scheduling appointments is usually a month out, but it’s good because it spreads out the cost of your art work. I am currently having a rework done of my right arm sleeve with kevin baker, and his artistic skill is proven in what has been completed so far. I finished three sessions with him and have another three scheduled. I am really pleased with the work and can’t wait to see what the final product looks like. I found my tattoo shop and artist while living in Virginia and will never get another tattoo from another shop while living here. I have other pieces I want to complete at studio evolve with Kevin baker as my tattoo artist. I highly recommend studio evolve for your next tattoo. They have a wide range of artist specializing in all styles of tattoos. Tattoo Artist: Zitman. I challenged him with a cute tattoo and he delivered! My piece was a dedication to my mother who passed away in 2020. He listened to what I wanted while also applying his artistic touches. He ensured I was comfortable during the whole process.

I went to Taryn for 3 tattoos, one was a rework, only a year old from another tattoo shop, which I hated. She was AMAZING!!!! So patient with me about placement and size, never made me feel bad about my decisions, so considerate of my privacy. She brought out a screen to shield me during the rib tattooing. She was so great about communicating with me the entire time and offered me lots of breaks if I needed them. She was even great about me needing to reschedule due to COVID. I cant rave enough about how much I love this place. Rusty is doing a great job running the front, the studio is super clean, everyone is super chill and it truly feels like a safe space and a judgement free tattoo shop- which is REALLY hard to find. I went to Thora for my first tattoo and she was excellent! Very detailed, organized, and thorough in her explanation of what would be done. I brought in a design and she offered suggestions on sizing and shading. The pain was minimal and the healing was excellent - I believe a testament to Thoras expertise. Already thinking about the next one and will definitely go back to Thora! The front desk staff were also very nice and welcoming.

I messaged Kasey and she replied promptly and gave me feedback for the tattoo and we got scheduled!Walking in I was greet by the receptionist (I can not remember her name I’m sorry girl you’re awesome) Seth (a vibe and so sweet) and Sam(so sweet) they were all so welcoming and excited my husband and I were there to get tattooed by Kasey -love how supportive they all were.Kasey came out and greeted us and showed us what she had drawn, she happily changed a few of the things I wanted tweaked and took us back!She introduced us to her mentor Flaco which was so funny and nice, he answered her questions and gave her positive feedback. Kasey listened to all his feedback on what he suggested which was refreshing!When I first messaged her I was able to get an additional appointment with my bestie and when we went we had a good time with the staff! Everyone was just so nice and funny and made us feel so relaxed and comfortable!Our tattoos came out sooooo freaking cuuuuuute!!! I’m so excited to see Kasey grow in her career! She’s just starting off and going such a great job! I can’t wait to all her beautiful work in the future.My husband and I already have more work in mind and we already know we’re coming back here!!

Came in two days ago to start on my half sleeve with Lucy and it was such a great experience. This piece is important to me because it’s for my mom that passed recently. Lucy has great energy and she’s very welcoming and detailed when it comes to what you want and how you want it. I have a few more sessions with her and I’m so excited to come back.

Do not go to this place…and if you do, don’t work with Blake. To start, he showed up 30 minutes late to the scheduled appointment time. Not my problem if he didn’t pay attention to his own books but when he did show up, he clearly wasn’t thrilled I was there.We started the process of creating the tattoo and of course he was over it 5 minutes in. He created one draft of what I wanted and after some minor tweaks (and I’m talking very minor…like removing a few curls off the ends of letters and straightening the cross of the Ts) of his initial drawing, he asked me my thoughts. I wasn’t sure about it yet, more so about the position and the size of the tattoo, not his art, but hoped to keep tweaking to see if we could get it where I wanted. Next thing I know, he’s closing his tablet and telling me to go to a font website and that I can “just take that into any tattoo shop”. Very condescending and smugly he said that he was “going to pass” on doing the tattoo for me and he ended the appointment. I had been working with him for less than 30 minutes before he did this to me. Clearly he had something else he wanted to be doing.The whole appointment was awkward and it was VERY clear I was inconveniencing his day. He apparently didn’t think showing up 30 minutes was an inconvenience to me. And any kind of small talk with this guy? Yeah right, I might as well have not been there as he had no interest in engaging with me in any way.While I understand it’s important to go into a tattoo appointment with what you want (which I did outside of the exact picture of the font), Blake was less than willing to work with me on creating it. Save your time and go see someone with some personality and willingness to create a great tattoo with you. Complete waste of time and a loss of a paying customer for this place.

Johnny was awesome! Showed great attention to detail to the piece in my dad’s handwriting! Definitely a piece I’ll treasure forever! He was highly recommended to me, and was worth the wait to get in with him!

Just recently got a tattoo with Jamie at studio evolve and it was a wonderful experience. Tattoo was amazing, shop was extremely clean, and custom service was top notch! Couldn’t be more pleased with everything. Thank you guys so much. I will definitely be back to get more pieces done.

My artist was Kevin & he did a cover up for me & I couldnt be happier. I shared my ideas with him about what I wanted & he made it come to life. He was very down to earth & has a calming sense about him which made me feel super relaxed.All the staff were super nice as well. The shop is very clean & has an overall welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

Studio Evolve has got to be the best Tattoo shop I have ever been to. Not only are the artists extremely talented and amazing but the atmosphere in that place is incredible. I highly recommend this Tattoo shop and I will most definitely be returning! Special shout out to Brendan Tierney (one of the artists that works there) for an outstanding job on my Tattoo!! He absolutely brought the piece I wanted to life. Love this place!!!

Ive been tattooed by three different artists and all of them have been amazing. The studio is clean and inviting, and the staff and other artists are friendly, welcoming, and passionate.

I got a tattoo with Taryn. She really does all she can to make you feel comfortable and welcome. She definitely tries to bond with her clients and I think thats great and special. I can tell this shop is full with very talented and great artists.

This shop is simply one the best in Hampton Roads. Today was my second time getting tattooed here. It’s a really great environment and the girls at the front desk were really personable and helpful. I came in thinking I was just gonna get a consult and it turned out that Jeff had just had a cancellation and was able to do my tattoo as a walk in. I’d been wanting something in remembrance of my best friend who committed suicide and this little bit of lyrics I got on my arm was the perfect thing. He did such an awesome job with it. I am already planning my next tattoo and it will definitely be at Studio Evolve.
